Hull City vs Manchester United

Not easy game for United, kemenangan musim lali di KC stadium diperoleh dengan perjuangan yg berat, 1 gol aja.

apapun ..., must win game nih untuk United, untuk tetep menjaga peluang 4 in a row, berat ..., but still BELIEVE

Opa SAF harusnya udh punya cukup waktu u/ mempelajari kesalahan di dua match United yg berujung kekalahan.. stop playing two midfielder on our defensive when we already had one realdefender avalaible. don't rely too much on Paul Scholes for he become vulnerable on our midfield. we also need a creativity on both of our flanks... and stop making unforgivable mistakes..

BTT... hull bukan lawan yg mudah...

19th??? of cors this year!!! 19belive in u opa

defenders are the key ..., hikss ...

ready or not ..., we must ... !!!!

harus segera bangkit neh..........:)]

mudah2 an pemaen belakang kita dah pada sembuh.... dan klo nggak mudah2 an jg Opa lebih "berani" turunin pemain muda ketimbang narik pemaen tengah ke belakang yg jg sekaligus mengurangi "kekuatan" lini tengah.......:)]

Masih sedih...
Lagi2 gw pengen GO26 jadi starter buat lawan Hull...
Kemaren lawan Fulham kok malah gak dimaenin ya???
Prediksi...eh gw tulis di trit tebak skor aja deh, hehe...
Ayo United!!! Saatnya bangkit! Bangkit yg benar2 bangkit!!! Bukan bangkit, tapi setengah2!!!

BANGKIT!!!
Di setiap kekalahan MU di Liga, di pertandingan selanjutnya United pasti selalu menang... Imbas kekalahan atas Fulham, Hull bisa jadi pelampiasan emosi kekalahan menyesakan sabtu lalu. kembali ke pakem 4 back, Fabio - Carrick - Vidic (jika sudah fit) - Evra. Di tengah Valencia - Giggs - Fletcher - Obertan (scholes diistirahatin dulu d...) n duet Rooney - Berbatov .

Menang n back to the winning track!!!

sedang di tengah Vale-Carrick-Fletcher-Obe/Giggs... maaf utk match tandang dan jg situasi tim yg penuh tekanan memakai Giggs sbg gelandang tengah sangat riskan jg pada lini belakang United....

Jelang Hull vs MU
Bersama Lapis Dua, MU Buru Tiga Angka
Fajar Pratama - detiksport

(arp/arp)

moga-moga lini 'belakang' gak kecolongan lagi...

Hull City v Manchester United: match preview

Sunday, 27 December
Hull City v Manchester United
KC Stadium
Kick-off: 16.00 GMT
TV: Live Sky & BBC2 Motd2.

Tale of the game
Just six years ago, Hull's Boxing Day fixture was against York City; now they entertain Manchester United. It is a daunting prospect given that United have only ever lost once, in 17 Boxing Day games in the Premier League, and that was at Middlesbrough in 2002. Their overall record on this day is 14 wins, two draws and one defeat.

Last season a Darron Gibson goal separated the teams in this game at the KC Stadium. Overall, in 18 League meetings, United have won 11 while Hull have won four, most recently in November 1974.

Hull lost 3-0 at Arsenal and are still without Jimmy Bullard and Ian Ashbee. United, meanwhile, are desperate for a win after losing 3-0 at Fulham when they were without seven defenders. They give tests to Nemanja Vidic, Rafael and Gary Neville along with Ryan Giggs, but Nani, Edwin Van der Sar, John O'Shea, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves are all out.

Hull City (Probable, 4-5-1): Duke; McShane, Gardner, Zayatte, Dawson; Garcia, Boateng, Geovanni, Marney, Hunt; Altidore.

Manchester United (Probable, 4-4-1-1): Kuszczak; Neville, Brown, Vidic, Evra; Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs; Valencia; Rooney.

Referee: Alan Wiley. Matches: 14. R3 Y40. - yg kata Opa kurang fit :geleng:

Last Season: United 4 Hull 3, Hull 0 United 1.

Stat of the game: United are away on Boxing Day for the third year in succession.

Betting Tip: United are 9-2 to win 2-0.

Squad sheets: Hull City v Manchester United

Every away game will provoke trepidation until Manchester United can once more send out a group of fit, established defenders. Although Hull are no Fulham, who beat Sir Alex Ferguson's side 3-0, they will see an opportunity. The home team are just above the relegation zone but that ought to make them all the keener to grasp any opportunity presented to them. Hull's problem is that they, too, are vulnerable and United should attack with far more purpose than they did at Craven Cottage.

Rafael and Fabio will be back to boost United's depleted defence against Hull on Sunday, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed at Thursday's press conference.

Rafael has been sidelined since the home defeat to Besiktas last month with a foot injury, while Fabio returned from the bench at Fulham last week. Both Da Silva twins are set to be thrust into action at the KC Stadium to bolster a threadbare backline.

"We rushed Fabio back a little bit, but given the situation we find ourselves in sometimes you have to do that," admitted the boss. "Rafa's only trained for a few days but he will be involved on Sunday."

Sir Alex also confirmed Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic should both be available for the home game against Wigan on 30 December, and that the Reds' medical team are working to get one of the centre-backs fit for this weekend.

"We're trying to get one of them fit for Sunday, but we'll have to see," added Sir Alex. "The young boy [Ritchie] De Laet did okay in the last game at Fulham until we lost the first goal.

"The power and the strength of [Bobby] Zamora made things difficult for us and we looked fragile from then on. It's understandable in a way - you can get away with playing midfielders at centre-back once or twice, but it proved to be very difficult for us at Fulham."

The United boss is expecting an equally tough game against an improving Tigers side, saying: "Hull will be encouraged by our injury problems, and I'm sure they'll have a go at us.

"We have to make sure we are better attacking-wise than we were at Fulham. We had quite a bit of possession, but didn't make a lot of chances. We have to improve the imagination of our play on Sunday."

Hull City vs Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to rush Brazilian brothers Fabio and Rafael Da Silva back into his Manchester United line-up for Sunday's trip to Hull.

The teenage duo have both been absent with shoulder problems but as United's defensive problems continue could be unleashed against Phil Brown's men.

Ferguson is crossing his fingers that either Wes Brown (hamstring) or Nemanja Vidic (thigh) are able to play, having expressed confidence they should both be available for the clash with Wigan on December 30.

Hull expect to have veteran midfielder Nick Barmby available for the visit of the champions.

The former England international has not trained this week after suffering a calf injury during last weekend's defeat at Arsenal but should be fit.

Manager Phil Brown has no other fitness concerns aside from long-term casualties Jimmy Bullard and Ian Ashbee.

Midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is due to link up with Nigeria for the African Nations Cup after the game but the club are still hoping to delay his departure.

Dean Marney, Stephen Hunt and Kamil Zayatte are all one booking away from an automatic suspension.

Teams:

Hull (from): Myhill, McShane, Zayatte, Gardner, Dawson, Garcia, Barmby, Boateng, Hunt, Fagan, Geovanni, Mouyokolo, Mendy, Kilbane, Marney, Cairney, Olofinjana, Ghilas, Cousin, Altidore, Vennegoor of Hesselink, Duke.

Manchester United (from): Kuszczak, Foster, Rafael, De Laet, Vidic, Brown, Evra, Fabio, Valencia, Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Scholes, Anderson, Gibson, Giggs, Obertan, Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Welbeck, Tosic.

Hull v Manchester United, Premier League, December 27, 2009
-101greatgoals.com-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/stevewilson/hull595getty.jpg

“It’s a crucial time, we lost against Aston Villa and Fulham but the target is to win every game we can from now on. We always do well in this period and now, more than ever, we need victories.” – Patrice Evra.

Once again Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson provided a good smokescreen by calling Mark Hughes sacking at Eastlands “unacceptable.” The truth is that the Premier League champions have much to worry about following some poor results of late with defeats to both Aston Villa and Fulham as they failed to put pressure on leaders Chelsea who have had a wobble.

The good news for Ferguson and United is that the defensive problems appear to be easing. Nemanja Vidic is expected to be fit as could Wes Brown, while Brazilian twins Rafael and Fabio are also available which means it is more than likely that Darren Ferguson and Michael Carrick will be restored to midfield. (Manchester United are 11/10 to keep a clean sheet.)

Another player set to return for the champions is Ryan Giggs which gives Sir Alex options to play with ahead of Wigan’s arrival at Old Trafford next Wednesday. With Chelsea facing tricky games against Birmingham and Fulham and with Arsenal breathing down their necks, no less than six points from the Christmas games will be expected at United.

Hull, hovering above the relegation zone, have fared better than many expected after their freefall in the second half of last season, but they have missed Jimmy Bullard after he revitalised their campaign on his return from injury.

Phil Brown’s side have not scored since Bullard secure a point at Manchester City in November (4/5 that both teams will not score) and since then have been comprehensively beaten at both Aston Villa and Arsenal, with a 0-0 draw against Blackburn in between. (6/5 to be under 2.5 goals.)

The Tigers have produced some impressive performances at home this season and with a capacity crowd backing them on they could pose United problems. Nicky Barmby misses out for the home side after picking up a calf injury in the defeat at the Emirates last weekend.

It is majorly difficult to see Hull winning their first game against Manchester United since a 2-0 win in the old second division in November 1974. When they had to win to ensure their Premier League survival on the last day of last season, they lost to a trademark Darron Gibson long range effort and barely troubled a youthful United side as Ferguson rested players for the Champions League final.

Hull’s survival was greeted with Phil Brown’s now infamous serenading of the KC Stadium. There is unlikely to be much happiness on his face after this one. United traditionally kick into gear now and Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen could fill their boots.

Hull v Man United Preview: Phil Brown Aims to Add to United's Worries
-football.fanhouse.co.uk-

http://www.blogcdn.com/football.fanhouse.co.uk/media/2009/12/phil-brown241209.jpg

HULL CITY:
Manager Phil Brown won't be expecting any belated Christmas presents from Sir Alex Ferguson, but this won't stop him relishing the chance to cause an upset.

Brown loves it when Hull are firm underdogs, but he will wary of the fact United are smarting from last weekend's shock drubbing at Fulham.

Hull were on the receiving end of a tonking themselves, at Arsenal and it won't be easy for the home side to respond in front of the television cameras.

Brown's men have gone four games without a win to slip dangerously close to the relegation zone again.

To make matters worse they have failed to score in their last three outings and this is a problem Brown must address - and quickly - if his team are to avoid finding themselves back in the bottom three again come the New Year.

This will be easier said than done, though, considering Brown lacks an out-and-out goalscorer and he might just rue this fact considering United arrive on Humberside with horrendous defensive problems.

Somehow Hull must start scoring again and Brown said: "United might be like a wounded animal following their defeat at Fulham last week so we have to be prepared for that.

"Having the extra day to prepare might be a help, because you certainly need some when you are preparing to face United.

"It will be tough, we know that, but I believe that if we can play like we did for most of the game at Arsenal last week then we have a chance. If we have a strong referee as well, maybe we can compound what happened to United last week."

Strategy: Adopt the same approach as when they went to Eastlands and earned themselves a point. Hassle, harry and pester the life out of United from start to finish. Brown's men must try and set the tone and pace of the game. They must stop United getting their fluid passing game going and try and be positive whenever possible.

This is a home game after all and it will be Hull's performances at the KC Stadium which will determine if they stay up or go down. Hull have upset the odds before and must find a way to do so again, even without Jimmy Bullard's influence. Seyi Olofinjana's influence in midfield alongside George Boateng will be crucial, while Stephen Hunt must try and provide a threat from the flanks. The more crosses he can put in, the more chance there will be of United's makeshift defence making a mistake.

Injury Update: Bullard (knee) and Ian Ashbee (knee) remain long term absentees, while Anthony Gardner is battling to shake off a minor back problem. Nick Barmby will miss out after picking up a calf strain at the Emirates last weekend.

MANCHESTER UNITED:
Ferguson is drawing towards the end of a December in which his team has lost two league games, no common occurrence, although, in this unpredictable Premier League season, that does not rule United out of title contention.

However, the United manager clearly feels that the recent home loss to Aston Villa, rather than defeat at Fulham last week, is a result that may yet come back to haunt his team.

"I think losing to Aston Villa was a bitter disappointment, we made enough chances to win it," he said. "Winning your home games can stabilise you from bad results away from home.

"The way the league is at the moment, I think Arsene Wenger said the other day you could lose seven games and still win the league this year. Someone pointed out the recognised top four have lost 41 points between them this season. Nobody would have bet on that. There are more banana skins along the way as always. We have to try and make sure we're not one of them.

"It's unusual for us to lose two games in December, it's not happened that many times but hopefully by the Leeds United game we will have three centre-backs and we can then kick on and get back to our normal selves."

The pending return of some of his long list of injured defenders is reason for United's rivals to be slightly anxious and Ferguson believes that his personnel problems may well give Hull inspiration on Sunday.

"Hull will be encouraged by the fact we have got defenders injured," said Ferguson. "They will certainly have a go at us. It's always a dogfight down at the bottom of the table and, as usual, there are six, seven or eight teams involved in that battle."

Strategy: Ferguson was criticised in some quarters for his decision to play three at the back in the 3-0 loss at Fulham last weekend and, although he insists that was the right strategy on the day, he can be expected to revert to a flat back four now he has recognised defenders in place.

"I think it was the right thing to do," said Ferguson. "If you lose a game you are always going to get some sort of criticism but if we had gone with a back four it would have been even more fragile, that's my opinion." Ferguson has been equally concerned about the lack of chances his team have converted in recent weeks, particularly in the recent home defeat by Aston Villa, and he faces an important decision as to the make-up of his forward line with Wayne Rooney the only certain selection.

Injury Update: Brazilian brothers Fabio and Rafael are rushed back into the United squad ahead of schedule due to the chronic injury crisis at the back. Ferguson hopes to have Nemanja Vidic and Wes Brown available, also, for the visit to Hull but there are still a significant number of absentees at the back for the Reds as well as goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.

Ferguson hopes that by the time his team take on Leeds in the FA Cup in the new year, he will have Jonny Evans available to further ease his defensive crisis. Senegalese forward Mame Biram Diouf is also with the first team squad but his international clearance will not come through until after the Leeds tie.

Jelang Hull vs MU
Ujian Berat Minus Pemain Pilar
Arya Perdhana - detiksport

http://www.detiksport.com/images/content/2009/12/26/72/Ferguson-isi.jpg

Preview Hull City vs Manchester United
Fergie Isyaratkan Strategi Menyerang

8 Kuszczak: If not for his outstanding reaction save to beat away Olofinjana's first-half volley, United would have been in trouble early on.

5 Rafael: The Brazilian's clumsy challenge handed Hull a second-half penalty and he was caught out of position to let Hunt in early on. But still looked thrilling going forward.

7 Brown: Looked fit and sharp alongside Vidic, producing one brilliantly-timed first-half tackle to deny Garcia.

7 Vidic: How happy Ferguson will have been to see the big Serbian back at the heart of defence. Looked a touch ring-rusty but the defence looked so much more solid with him in it.

6 Evra: At last he had some familiar faces around him after being United's only recognised fit defender in recent weeks. Solid as ever.

6 Valencia: Crossing wasn't at its best but still provided a willing outlet on the right until replaced by Park in the second half.

7 Carrick: Pinpoint pass set Rafael up with United's best chance of the match to that point but never really dominated proceedings in the centre of the park.

7 Fletcher: Industrious and full of energy - he added much-needed bite to midfield also helping out Brown and Vidic on occasion. Brilliant cross for Rooney's goal.

6 Giggs: The Welshman's passing wasn't up to its usual standard despite him getting himself into some useful positions.

9 Rooney: From hero to villain to hero again. A mixed bag for Rooney. His part in Hull's penalty was a moment of madness. But he always looked like being the man to provide the spark - and so it proved.

6 Berbatov: Largely ineffective, the Bulgarian rarely found a way through the Hull defence until a late goal was laid on a plate by Rooney.

SUBS

6 Park (for Valencia, 63) Worked hard and played a part in United's second goal.

5 Obertan (for Giggs, 78) Too late to make a real impact.

NOT USED: Owen, Welbeck, Fabio, De Laet, Foster.

Wayne Rooney fired up by fear of Fergie as he helps United strike back
-dailymail.co.uk-

Wayne Rooney revealed that the fear of a rollicking from Sir Alex Ferguson inspired him to drive Manchester United to a dramatic 3-1 win at Hull City on Sunday.

After Arsenal had gambled on the fitness of Cesc Fabregas, who led a 3-0 victory over Aston Villa before limping off injured again, Rooney gave the ball away to start a move that led to Hull’s equaliser.

But the striker, who had already scored his team’s first goal, recovered to set up two late strikes which took United to within two points of league leaders Chelsea.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/12/27/article-0-07B5D019000005DC-448_468x286.jpg
Celebration: Rooney delights in United's second goal

Rooney said: ‘It wasn’t a nice feeling when I made the mistake and I was certainly scared of what the manager might say. Thankfully, we managed to recover and get the goals we needed to win.’

With Chelsea drawing at Birmingham on Saturday, United made hard work of victory against a spirited Hull team but are now in a good position ahead of Wednesday’s home game against Wigan.

Rooney added: ‘It’s a mad league. But it’s exciting to be part of it.’

Ferguson gave Rooney the captain’s armband after Ryan Giggs came off in the second half and he paid tribute to his most valuable player.

Eye on the ball: Rooney drove his side to victory after making a costly error

The United manager said: ‘The mistake was Rooney’s only bad moment. He was exceptional today.

‘He has that desire. He is a natural winner and has that great determination to do well. He would have been hurt by the mistake but he more than rectified it.

‘This is a crucial period for us now but we have two of our centre backs fit again and we are looking better.’

Christmas Gifts From Rooney
-manchesterunited.vitalfootball.co.uk-

http://images.dailyexpress.co.uk/img/dynamic/67/285x214/148400_1.jpg

It was a fitting game for Christmas - which, of course, has already passed. But still, it seemed that players were in the mood for handing out gifts, none more so than our Wayne Rooney.

Hull, our opponents of the afternoon, were spirited and determined and their efforts to disrupt our football were quite efficient. It worked well on Rooney who covered plenty of ground but gave the ball away way too often in the first 30 minutes as United pressed and created chances but showed great vulnerability at the back. In truth, both Boateng and Hunt could have opened the scoring in a very open first half - but United were the more dangerous side.

Our cause was helped immeasurably by the fact that Fergie could field an almost full-strength side. Rafael, Brown and Vidic were all rushed back so that for the first time in weeks we had a back four consisting exclusively of defenders. Their lack of match fitness was obvious and it has to be said that Vidic and Brown never formed a good partnership - there's a lack of organisation when both Van der Sar and Ferdinand are out.

But young Rafael played very well and had he not been shocked by finding himself clean through on goal he could have given us the lead after an amazing run through the middle and some fine one-touch passing involving Berbatov and Carrick as well. But defensively, we weren't great while in attack we kept on squandering chances: Giggs, Rooney, Berbatov and of course Rafael all had good opportunities. We could not capitalise even when Boaz Myhill fluffed a backpass (Christmas spirit, again) and it went straight to Giggs but eventually Rooney was crowded out.

Just when it looked certain that the first half would end goalless, Fletcher (who was excellent in the first half alongside a somewhat off-colour Carrick) got the ball on the right flank, he whipped in a low cross which Rooney turned in from close range. Christmas gift for our fans at last.

I guess Fergie instructed the troops to keep possession better in the second half and for a while they heeded this. Hull kept on pressing and harassing though and it made the game a real scrappy affair. But their way was vindicated when Rooney was hurried into handing out another gift: a horrible backpass which Kuszczak had no chance to get as Fagan got there first, he crossed to the far post where Altidore ran into Rafael and fell over. It was never a penalty but of course Wiley could not resist such an opportunity after what happened in the aftermath of our 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

Fagan converted the spotkick and suddenly we were struggling, our composure gone. It did not help that Giggs had one of his worst days and that Fergie, inexplicably, withdrew Valencia and brought on Park not long after the equaliser. True, Antonio did not sparkle but his pace caused some trouble and he looked likely to be able to exert some influence on the last 20 minutes.

In the end, it was a flowing counter-attack after a Hull corner - for they attacked with more and more courage as the game progressed - which put United back in front: Park released Berbatov who passed for Giggs. The Welshman threaded a perfect through ball into the path of Rooney who sent in a low cross which Park would have turned in but Dawson, keeping in with the Christmas spirit, tapped it in for him.

This destroyed Hull: their fire has gone out. It looked as though they lost all hope after conceding again which is not surprising, considering their recent scoring record which is abysmal. And United, finally, shunned the whole Christmas thing: we ruthlessly finished the job. Rooney who played with insane determination after his blunder ran half the length of the pitch to get on the end of a Brown header. Then he sent an incisive and precise pass between the legs of a defender which Berbatov tapped in at the far post.

And that was it. Rooney had an error-ridden game but with one goal and two assists you cannot really knock him. United looked rusty and not that great but we created plenty of chances and played some good football. It was a deserved win and a much-needed Christmas boost. We are only two points off the pace, as Chelsea can't win games to save their lives which is sort of amusing - we had the biggest injury crisis imaginable and they still could not pull away. Hopefully we'll show a bit more consistency in 2010. And hopefully they won't.

Hull City 1 Manchester United 3: Wayne Rooney runs United show... And Wiley lends a helping hand, too
-dailymail.co.uk-

Sir Alex Ferguson might have dared suggest that the fat boys done good, that Alan Wiley and Wayne Rooney both played their part on Sunday in helping Manchester United secure a most important victory.

Wiley, reunited with Ferguson for the first time since that infamous blast of the hairdryer, did his bit in awarding Hull City just one of the two penalties their efforts so richly deserved.

Had Hull got the first one in the 21st minute, and taken the lead against a United side travelling here on the back of two defeats in three Barclays Premier League matches, it might have been very different. Another example, as Rooney put it, of what a ‘mad league’ it is this season.

But Wiley’s failure to see that Wes Brown had fouled Richard Garcia enabled the other slightly thick-set chap to shine with a performance that reminded us of his importance not just to his club but his country. Rooney finished wearing the captain’s armband, and rightly so.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/12/27/article-1238758-07B5C2A6000005DC-461_468x339.jpg
Title charge: Rooney celebrates as Andy Dawson turns his cross past Boaz Myhill

His ubiquity almost proved his undoing at one point, because had he not chosen to drop into the left-back position he would not have delivered the poorly executed backpass that presented Hull with the opportunity to equalise.

But this nevertheless amounted to a remarkable contribution from England’s finest player, another demonstration of his strength of mind, his skills and his truly extraordinary reserves of energy.

Rooney might have always looked a bit heavy but don’t let the appearance fool you. The man is a phenomenal athlete — one of those rare examples of someone who combines explosive power and pace with the stamina of a middle-distance specialist.

With that fitness, however, comes the kind of finesse that makes him the heartbeat of this United side in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo.

On Sunday he was predator as well as provider, the manner in which he delivered the final ball for Dimitar Berbatov to score United’s third goal simply joyous in its execution. Rooney looked up not once but three times before guiding an exquisite pass across the Hull penalty area and into the Bulgarian’s path. Brilliant. Just brilliant.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/12/27/article-1238758-07B5C432000005DC-324_468x335.jpg
Double act: Rooney and Berbatov celebrate victory

Rooney scored his 13th league goal of the season on Sunday and United owe much to him for the fact they remain as close as they are to Chelsea.

They might have suffered five defeats already this season but they have made it to halfway only two points behind their rivals, and a point down on the number they amassed after 19 games last year, because in Rooney they have a player who wins them so many matches.

Never was that more apparent here against the not-so-easy Tigers. Hull were impressive — not least in defence, where Anthony Gardner and Kamil Zayatte were terrific, and in midfield where Seyi Olofinjana and George Boateng also excelled.

But in Rooney, United had the one player capable of breaking them, the one player capable of fighting back — even after making the mistake that led to Craig Fagan’s equaliser — and landing the decisive blows.

United started well enough with a couple of decent chances for Ryan Giggs and were strengthened by the return of Nemanja Vidic and Brown to their defence.

But, if confidence remained an issue after losing 3-0 to Fulham last weekend, it certainly showed when Brown took Garcia rather than the ball midway through the first half. Nobody here is suggesting Wiley was a little laboured in covering the ground but had the referee been a bit closer to the action he might have seen that for himself.

United survived that particular scare and they escaped again when Tomasz Kuszczak produced a terrific save to deny Olofinjana from close range. It was a super move featuring a fine cross from Fagan and a sweetly taken half-volley from his powerfully built colleague. Stephen Hunt also threatened.

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/12/27/article-1238758-07B5C2D1000005DC-515_468x257.jpg
Level pegging: Craig Fagan made it 1-1 from the spot

Such was the frenetic nature of the encounter, Hull were also under pressure. Boaz Myhill did well to deny both Rooney and Rafael da Silva and, when the Hull goalkeeper sliced a clearance, it was Boateng who rushed to his rescue.

But when Darren Fletcher drove in a cross moments before the interval, Giggs did enough to divert the ball beyond Zayatte and so allow Rooney to strike from inside the six-yard box. Wiley was not that popular with Hull’s supporters after failing to award that first-half penalty.

‘You’re in Fergie’s pocket,’ they cried, not least for the leniency he showed towards Patrice Evra for giving him only one yellow card.

But the Staffordshire official did go some way to making amends when he invited Fagan to level the scores. It was fair enough, given Da Silva’s nudge in the back on a fast-advancing Jozy Altidore after Rooney had guided his back pass into the path of Fagan.

That United responded at all owed much to Rooney. It was a neat ball from Giggs that ignited the move but Rooney’s perfectly timed run and a perfectly weighted cross that was intended for Ji-Sung Park lured Andy Dawson into scoring a 73rd-minute own goal he will wince at when he watches it again.

The best, however, was yet to come when, after 82 minutes, we got another demonstration of the rapid counter-attacking football that has long been United’s trademark, but also a reflection of Rooney’s amazing football brain.

A long punt from the Hull goalkeeper was met by the head of Vidic outside his own penalty box, and within five seconds, United had scored again.

Rooney collected a bouncing ball effortlessly, then opened his stride and, with three driving touches, advanced towards the Hull area. Looking up and looking dangerous, he angled a perfect pass for Berbatov to tap in from close range. Football looks so simple when it’s played like this.

Berharap Blus tertahan lagi nanti malam..Amin...

berita dari the sun yah???.......I-)I-)

In other news, The Sun has today reported that Dimitar Berbatov is facing three months out with knee surgery required. Berbatov has apparently been playing through the pain on injections but will need to have the surgery at some point. The good news is that Bulgaria aren’t going to the World Cup, so there’s the possibility we could wait until the end of the season before booking him in.

Oiya, Chelsea lawan apa lagi sih?
Susah mengharapkan Chelsea kalah, tp cukup dengan mereka imbang, dan United menang, poin kita jadi sama...syukur2 Chelsea kalah, hahaha...
Td drpd pusing mikirin Chelsea, mending tetep fokus ama diri sendiri...
Alhamdulillah MC16 ama DF24 udah kembali ke alamnya...
DB9 yg gosipnya cedera, malah bikin gol, hihi...
Next target...Wigan :devil3:

jarak jadi 2 poin nih lawan chelsea
tinggal nunggu chelsea kepleset, minimal seri lah

jadi poin ny bisa sama

semalem maen ny keren bgt
kuszczak maen ny makin bagus aja...bener2 membayar kepercayaan fergie
sayang harus gol karna penalti gara2 back pass ny rooney

tp untung rooney bisa bayar lunas utang + bunga ny
hehehe...

- 1 gol membuat United unggul 1-0
- Kesalahan fatal dari dari Rooney memaksa Rafael melakukan pelanggaran sehingga penalty buat hull score 1-1
- Sebuah Crosing tajam kearah Park tapi kepotong bek Hull akibat bola masuk ke gawang 2-1
- assist buat Berba 3-1..
IMO united baru bermain bagus mulai menit ke 70 setelah Park masuk menggantikan Valencia..>:D<

Setuju bro, mungkin perhitungan nya kalo naik meja operasi akan butuh waktu lama untuk penyembuhan sementara United lagi membutuhkan nya, selagi masih bisa ya main nya aja dulu dengan resiko rentan cedera...
