United stars drunk, smoking and hospitalized on Christmas party

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to be impressed with the antics of some of his stars at the team’s Christmas party on Saturday.

Sir Alex has famously been against Christmas parties since Jonny Evans was accused of rape two years ago, so things could get messy at Old Trafford when he finds out about the latest goings on.

Out of favour Portuguese winger Nani was so drunk he had to be carried to a taxi, while youngster Matty James got paralytic and was taken to hospital in an ambulance. :sikat::sikat::sikat:

Italian striker Federico Macheda followed the example of Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov by chain smoking through the night.

WAYNE ROONEY led the Manchester United pack on their Christmas party today.

The striker has experienced a tough few months at Old Trafford after stunning fans, teammates and club officials with a transfer request in October and subsequently suffering a dip in form.

But Wayne looked in high spirits as he and teammates including RYAN GIGGS, PATRICE EVRA, RIO FERDINAND, EDWIN VAN DER SAR and PAUL SCHOLES headed to The Living Room to kick off an all day knees-up at 3pm.

He was then spotted laughing and giggling inside the bar at a table full of beers alongside MICHAEL CARRICK and JOHN O'SHEA.

With the club sitting pretty at the top of the Premiership and European qualification confirmed, the lads deserve a beer or too head into the busy Christmas football schedule.

The boys have had an easy time of it recently with clashes with Chelsea and Blackpool being called off due to bad weather.

So by the time Boxing day comes around I expect RIO FERDINAND and NEMANJA VIDIC will be chomping at the bit to get back on the field and extend their lead at the top.

He's yet to post anything about the do but he's normally on hand to let his faithful followers know his every move.

In form JI-SUNG PARK gets a big thumbs-up up in the fashion stakes - making a play for the most stylish player now he's got rid of his barmy red hair.

Brazilian twins FABIO and RAFAEL SILVA also looked well-prepared - togging themselves up in big coats.

Noticeable absentees at the do were OWEN HARGREAVES and DIMITAR BERBATOV.

Boss SIR ALEX FERGUSON also left them to it.

His tactics are spot on once again.
