AC Milan midfielder David Beckham has promised he will not celebrate if he scores against former club Manchester United in next week's Champions League last-16 clash.

United face Milan in the Champions League at the San Siro next Tuesday, with the return leg on March 10 at Old Trafford. And after 394 appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's side, the England midfielder believes it would be inappropriate behaviour should he find the net for the Rossoneri.

It is the first time Beckham has faced his former club and he remains grateful to the fans who backed him after he was sent off against Argentina in the 1998 World Cup.

"Sometimes emotion can get the better of you when you score but I do not think I would celebrate," Beckham told Inside United magazine. "I respect the supporters and the club. The relationship I have with the fans is still important to me.

"I went through some difficult times but they never stopped supporting me. I would not have got through everything without them. To me they are the best fans in the world and the support they gave me week in, week out was incredible. Nothing will ever better that.''

Beckham started his career at United after moving up from London to sign schoolboy forms with the club and made his league debut in 1995, going on to play for eight more years at Old Trafford before moving to Real Madrid.

A high-profile transfer to LA Galaxy followed and the former England captain is currently on loan at Milan in a bid to retain his form and fitness and earn a place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad. But Beckham admitted that after playing for three of the world's bioggest teams, it is his first club who remain his first love.

"I always wish I was part of Manchester United, it is just in me. Even though I am not there any more, I am still a huge fan. Coming to terms with not being a United player was certainly the toughest thing I've ever had to deal with. When you are a Manchester United player and a Manchester United fan you never want to play for any other club.

"I always want them to do well and be successful because the club still means so much to me. I've still got season tickets and I will always keep them because I love to watch every game where possible. I would love to take my sons one day. United will always be such a special place to me, so we will just have to see what the future holds.''

"United was the club I always wanted to play for and I loved every minute of my time there. The first few years (after leaving) were hard and there were a lot of things I missed. When I was at Real Madrid it just never felt right to come back to Old Trafford.

"The thought of playing against United always gave me that sick feeling because I missed the club so much. But when the draw was made this time it felt as though it was the right time to go back. I felt really emotional. It will also be extremely emotional for myself and my family on the night.

"I met so many amazing people during my time there, on and off the pitch, that I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. It is the biggest club in the world and it is one you always want to be a part of.''

United fans wishing to display banners or, in some cases, flags inside the San Siro on Tuesday 16 February must first have them approved by AC Milan.

In line with Italian regulations, fans must supply a picture of the banner/flag and information about its size to the visiting club's Security Operative Group. After examining all submissions, the committee will notify each applicant of its decision to allow or prohibit the item from entering the stadium.

According to guidelines published on the AC Milan website, flags not in club colours may not be allowed into the San Siro, while two-stick flags or flags of excessive dimensions likely to obstruct other supporters’ views are definitely prohibited. AC Milan also prohibits drums, loudspeakers or “any other sound diffusion systems” into the San Siro.

Giggs mengalami cedera saat United dipaksa bermain 1-1 oleh Villa di Stadion Villa Park. Ketika itu, winger 36 tahun tersebut bertabrakan dengan gelandang tim tuan rumah Steve Sidwell.

Alhasil, posisi Giggs yang sambil memangku tangan saat keluar lapangan, digantikan bomber Dimitar Berbatov pada babak kedua. Sir Alex Ferguson mengkonfirmasi bahwa Giggs langsung dilariken ke Rumah Sakit untuk menjalani pemeriksaan.

For the past two seasons, United have cut a swath through to the finals of the Champions League, beating the best teams that the continent had to offer, including Barcelona, Chelsea, Inter and Arsenal. This season, even when they were without some of their key players, the Premier League leaders made their Champions League tasks look easy. The only defeat they suffered came in a dead rubber against Besiktas once qualification for the knockouts was assured. Fergie has built winning momentum in the competition and made sure that his side are an imposing prospect for the opposition, no matter the personnel on the field.

Wayne Rooney:

The Scouse striker has seemingly been liberated since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, weighing in with his most impressive goalscoring season to date. However, goals only tell part of the Rooney story. His link-up play, physicality and instinct mark him out as one of the most devastatingly effective players in the world at the moment. Rooney is capable of sublime moments but it is often his willingness to undertake the rudimentary with a a frightening zeal that makes him nigh-on unplayable. Energy, sharpness, edge, incisiveness, verve; whatever you want to call it, Manchester United have it in abundance. Patrice Evra will hassle and harry at every opportunity in the opposition half, Darren Fletcher will prevent Andrea Pirlo from having the time and space he needs in order to wave his magic wand and Wayne Rooney will test the mettle of a fragile defensive duo of Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva. United will not let Milan settle into the kind of game they want to play. More likely is that the English side will dictate the tempo and force the ageing Milanese to play a quick game, resulting in a high rate of possession turnover. United are masters at counter-attacking too, so if Milan moves break down at the edge of the box, United will breakout at a canter and hit Milan with more speed and power than they can handle.

If you are looking for a goalkeeper to spoon a clearance to opposition attackers or drop a cross at a key time, then Dida is surely your man. The Brazilian netminder seems a solid enough last line of defence for about 89 minutes of every game, however, he is an accident waiting to happen. Witness Raul's goal against Milan in the group stages as evidence of this. No matter if Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva are fit and ready, the Rossoneri still need Dida to be on guard. Rooney and co. will need no second invite to pounce on his inevitable errors.

Vengeance:

Well matched at Old Trafford, outplayed at San Siro, United's 2007 Champions League defeat to Milan has left a bitter aftertaste in the throats of the English champions. Milan, led imperiously by Kaka, were far and away superior to United, and went on to lift the trophy. The Red Devils failed to give anything close to a decent account of themselves and will be relishing the opportunity to get one back on the Italians this time around. Milan are muddling on with much of the same number as those ties but have replaced the likes of Maldini and Kaka with players of inferior quality.

Sir Alex Ferguson has suggested that Milan are a different proposition since the summer departure of Kaká to Real Madrid and is in buoyant mood as his Manchester United side prepare to travel to Italy for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

United lost 3-0 in their last contest with the Rossoneri at San Siro as Kaká inspired the hosts to a semi-final win in 2007 and Ferguson is happy not to be facing the Brazil playmaker this time around.

"It's a good time for us to be going to Milan," Ferguson said. "They played this weekend [beating Udinese 3-2 on Friday night], they've lost Kaká and have a few injuries, whereas we aren't playing this weekend and we have had a good rest."

The Scot went on to discuss how Milan "have changed since they lost Kaká" and the tactical tweaks made to the Milan side since Leonardo succeeded Carlo Ancelotti as manager. "They used Kaká at the head of a diamond and two front players but they have changed that and gone 4-3-3 with two wide players and three centre-midfield players.

"You have to recognise they are not short of skill and experience – Ronaldinho, Pato, all these players – but equally we have players who can win the match, too. After the experience in the San Siro three years ago, where they dominated the game, I know that won't happen again."

Pato is seen by Ferguson as the biggest threat to United in the first-leg contest, which may provide David Beckham with an opportunity to face his former club.

"It's Pato they are desperate to get back in," Ferguson said. "If he's not back they'll play David wide right. We know all about David, he's a great crosser of the ball so we will have to be alive to that."

Ferguson, whose side have won four of their last five games, scoring 16 goals, is confident United can cope in the absence of Ryan Giggs, who suffered a broken arm against Aston Villa last Wednesday.

"My players are used to big occasions and I think the good thing for us now is that we have hit form at just the right time," the manager said. "We will miss Giggsy, but we have players in great form and working really well.

"The improvement you see in players like [Wayne] Rooney, Nani and [Antonio] Valencia, who has done a great job for us since coming here, is fantastic and we have [Darren] Fletcher and [Michael] Carrick playing out of their skins. [Paul] Scholes is playing well, too. I have players who are playing well at the right time."

Setelah nyaris tujuh tahun berpisah, Becks akan kembali bersua dengan klub lamanya sebagai lawan. Meski pernah menjadi kawan baik, namun kehadiran Becks tidak akan memperngaruhi konsentrasi Neville.

"Kehadiran Beckham tidak akan mengalihkan perhatian saya akan pentingnya pertandingan ini," tegas Neville seperti dikutip dari Times Online.

"Ini adalah kali pertama dia menghadapi Manchester United, jadi itu seru sebelum pertandingan. Sekali pertandingan dimulai, tidak ada seorang pun yang memikirkan hal ini," imbuh Neville.

Buat bek veteran itu, menghadapi mantan rekan di klub bukanlah hal yang baru. "Kami telah melawan banyak mantan rekan satu tim, seperti adik saya Phil dan Nicky Butt. Jadi kami telah terbiasa," lanjutnya.

"Mungkin ini justru akan aneh buat Beckham, tapi tentu saja, kami berharap yang terbaik untuk dia. Saya bicara dengannya minggu lalu, namun kami tidak membicarakan tentang pertandingan," tuntas pemain yang dikabarkan akan segera pensiun ini.

Milan - Satu hal yang dikhawatirkan Sir Alex Ferguson saat harus menyambangi AC Milan adalah pengalaman sang lawan di pentas Eropa. Soalnya dari sisi permainan, Rossoneri masih kalah atas Inter Milan.

"Inter lebih kuat dibanding Milan. Saya melihat pertandingan derby terakhir dan Inter memang fantastis, dengan skuad yang kuat dan membuat kemajuan yang pesat," ungkap Ferguson dalam konfrensi pers jelang laga 16 besar Liga Champions seperti dikutip dari Football Italia.

Milan bukan lawan baru buat Sir Alex karena dia sudah empat kali menghadapi Rossoneri di pentas Liga Champions. Dari jumlah tersebut cuma satu kemenangan didapat pelatih asal Skotlandia itu sementara tiga lainnya menjadi milik Milan.

Tapi, seperti sempat diungkapkan sebelumnya, ketiadaan Kaka di skuad Milan membuat tuan rumah dianggap tak lagi seganas di pertemua sebelumnya. Apalagi Leonardo masih belum bisa menstabilkan performa anak didiknya, yang kadang tampil sangat baik namun di lain kesempatan bermain sangat mengecewakan.

Kalau ada hal yang membuat Fergie was-was adalah pengalaman yang dimiliki banyak skuad Milan di pentas Eropa. Milan - San Siro selalu menghadirkan kisah suram buat Manchester United. Tapi jika setidaknya bisa meraih hasil imbang dinihari nanti, The Red Devils akan menciptakan rekor baru yang membuat mereka layak dijuluki jago tandang.

MU dan Milan total sudah delapan kali saling berhadapan di semua kompetisi. Dari jumlah tersebut, empat laga yang digelar di kandang Rossoneri selalu berkesudahan dengan kemenangan untuk tuan rumah, atau dengan kata lain The Red Devils tak pernah menang di San Siro.

Pertemuan terakhir keduanya di tempat tersebut pastinya masih diingat Wayne Rooney dkk. Gol-gol dari Kaka, Clarence Seedorf dan Alberto Gilardino mengantar Milan menang 3-0, sekaligus membalas kekalahan 2-3 di leg pertama, babak semifinal musim 2006/07.

Rio Ferdinand is set to make only his third start of 2010 on Tuesday night when United take on Milan in a mouthwatering Champions League tie.

In fact, Ferdinand has only made two appearances since his injury problems began in late October - his ill-fated return against Hull City on 23 January, from which he subsequently picked up a four-match ban, and the Carling Cup semi-final win over Manchester City.

Rio has missed half of the Champions League campaign so far - his last outing in Europe being away to CSKA Moscow on 21 October. But Sir Alex Ferguson feels his vastly experienced defender should return at the San Siro.

"We have to consider whether Rio will start tomorrow but I think he probably will," said Sir Alex, at Monday evening's pre-match press conference.

"We feel we've got to the bottom of the back problem. We certainly hope he'll be okay for the rest of the season. He's not missed a training session in the last six or seven weeks.

It is doubtful that Rafael would have swallowed such theories but on his biggest Champions League night yet he still couldn't handle his fellow Brazilians magic opening.

The ever-present smile on his face that has illuminated so many matches down the years had supposed to have faded but Ronaldinho was all flashing teeth again as he reproduced a devastating repertoire.

It added up to a killer start for the Reds who suffered on both sides from some Copacabana artistry.

While Rafael was to ultimately struggle in his youth versus experience, Patrice Evra was in trouble the other way around.

Evra has been one of United best players all campaign and has a great many supporters justifiably claiming he is the best left back in the world. But Milan's 20-year-old Brazilian Pato made him look ordinary at times and he forced Evra to give away a foul in the third minute.

Meanwhile Milan were beginning to look the jaded side wed been told theyd become in Serie A.

Edwin van der Sar is older than any of the old heads in the Milan camp but he had to prove he was still very much a spring chicken with saves to keep out Pirlo and Ronaldinho as the hosts found a second half second wind.

But that was deflated superbly by Wayne Rooney.

Fergie had suggested the England striker was on the brink of becoming one of the worlds greats in the pre-match build up and he moved up a notch last night in the San Siro.

As United stepped it up and Milan faded, his power and speed asked questions of the Italians defence they couldnt answer.

Finally in the 66th minute he rose to loop a second goal for the Reds beyond Dida and then stole into space after 74 minutes to meet Fletcher's cross.

But there was sting in the tail for United. First Ronaldinho set up Seedorf to score, and then Michael Carrick was sent off for a second bookable offence after kicking the ball away.

Wayne Rooney hailed Manchester United’s quality after they came from behind to beat AC Milan 3-2 in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash in the San Siro on Tuesday night.

Ronaldinho put the hosts ahead in the opening moments but Paul Scholes grabbed a fortuitous equaliser and two goals from Rooney put United in charge.

Clarence Seedorf’s late goal pegged Sir Alex Ferguson’s side back but Rooney felt they were worthy winners.

The England striker said: "It was a disappointing start but after that we did well to get back into it. The second half we stepped it up and we fully deserved to win, we were always the better side.

"When we went 3-1 up I thought it was only us that looked like scoring. The goal keeps Milan in the tie but 3-2 in the San Siro is a great result."

Rooney cut a frustrated figure through much of the first half as Milan largely dominated and he hinted it was displeasure with the referee’s performance that was riling him.

"Some people were not doing their job right," he continued. "But I got the booking and I learned from it."

The match was David Beckham’s first against his former employers, and Rooney had some generous words for his England team-mate.

"You can see the quality he’s got," added the striker. "The experience, set-pieces, he’s a great player."

Sir Alex Ferguson said the "fantastic" Wayne Rooney was the key to Manchester United's 3-2 Champions League win at AC Milan on Tuesday night.

Rooney netted two second-half headers as the Red Devils recovered from an early deficit to prevail in the San Siro.

Ferguson admitted United's last trip to the stadium, when they were thrashed 3-0 in the semi-finals in 2007, may have played on their minds following Ronaldinho's third-minute opener.

He told Sky Sports: "There was a catalogue of errors. The start to the game helped them and we started to get nervous - the last time we came here we conceded two early goals. But once we were settled I thought we did okay."

United were transformed in the second half, and Ferguson knew Rooney would be the key.

"The most important thing was better use of the ball and to use Rooney more. I felt he had the beating of them and he was fantastic tonight," continued the United boss.

"I thought we were coasting at 3-1 then it was a carnival end to the game. It's made it a game when it shouldn't have been a game.

"We've got to do a job at Old Trafford now. Let's go out and win it."

AC Milan midfielder and former United star David Beckham insisted he had enjoyed facing the club with which he began his career, despite the result.

"It was all right," he told Sky Sports after United's 3-2 win at San Siro. "I enjoyed it. The fans were great to me. It's great to play in front of a full stadium."

The former England captain admitted Milan's missed chances in the first half had cost them.

"We had three really good chances but you have to put those chances away," he continued. "The second half the game opened up and they put them away.

"But it's not over. We'll go to Manchester and it's going to be a tough game, we know that."

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson reflected on his side's 3-2 victory over AC Milan at the San Siro this evening. He couldn't hide his disappointment with conceding a second goal.

“I thought we were coasting at 3-1, then there was a carnival end to the game,” he told Sky Sports. “They've scored the second goal when we're completely in control of the match. It's made a game when it shouldn't have been a game.”

The United manager explained his key messages to his side at half-time.

“The most important thing was to make sure we made better use of the ball and use Wayne Rooney more because I felt Wayne has the measure of them at the back,” said Sir Alex. “He was fantastic in the second half. I think just the belief, getting a goal just before half-time was important.”

Ferguson played down Rooney's frustration at the end of the first half, before looking back on the defensive mistakes his side made.

“No, just the way it panned out in the first half, we were using the wide position for Nani and Rafael, but I think the main danger was through the middle,” he explained.

“Oh God, there was a catalogue [of errors], I think the start they got to the game helped them,” mused the United manager. “We got nervous at that point. We started thinking about three years ago when we lost two goals in 15 minutes or something, at least the echoes of that will come back a bit. But once we were settled we did ok.”

On the opening goal, Ferguson refused to lay any blame on his players, before looking forward to the second leg.

“It was a wicked deflection, there's nothing you can do about that,” he remarked. “It makes it a better game than it should have been, maybe. We've got to do our job at Old Trafford now, the important thing is to win the match, to go and win it.”

Finally, the Manchester United boss explained why Michael Carrick had been sent off.

“The fourth official said it's for kicking the ball away. I'm not sure, I'll have to see it again.”

To bad harus ada goal ke 2 Seedorf, andai ttp 3-1 ga sgt yakin InsyaAllah United akan mudah lolos, but 3-2 pun kemenangan away dgn 3 goal di tempat yg selama ini penuh perjuangan bg United dan team2 lainnya sungguh luar biasa, tp trend Milan di bawah Leonardo memang lbh bgs saat away (masih ingat kemenangan Milan vs Madrid di Bernabeu kan?) So United tetap harus waspada...

Semalam Rooney sungguh luar biasa, insting goalnya makin mantabs. Sempat kaget knp Fletcher yg di sayap kiri dan PJS di tengah yaks? Jelas bgt di babak pertama strategy ga berjalan, lbh banyak crossing mentah dan aliran bola ke Rooney kurang. Rafael meski memiliki speed n semangat namun msh kalah jam terbang sm Ronaldinho, mungkin Brown bs jd opsi tp gw prefer Rafael dan gw yakin dia banyak belajar dr game semalam. Evra jelas kepayahan dlm menjaga Pato, bagi gw Pato pemain yg plg bgs di Milan semalam, beruntung ga sampai didlm kotak penalty. Yg paling jeblok semalam adalah Evans terutama babak pertama, kurang fokus hingga sering salah beruntung mencak2nya SAF bs memperbaiki performanya semalam. Selain Rooney, Scholes perlu dapat pujian pergerakan dan jelajahnya sungguh luar biasa, sayang Carrick kurang mensupport. Nani nampaknya msh tegang dikasih peran main di game besar, berutung Valencia sbg pengganti lsg memberi pengaruh, namun bg gw ini kecerdikan SAF yg meilhat Zambrotta di sisi kiri pertahanan Milan sdh mulai kendor.

To bad harus ada goal ke 2 Seedorf, andai ttp 3-1 ga sgt yakin InsyaAllah United akan mudah lolos, but 3-2 pun kemenangan away dgn 3 goal di tempat yg selama ini penuh perjuangan bg United dan team2 lainnya sungguh luar biasa, tp trend Milan di bawah Leonardo memang lbh bgs saat away (masih ingat kemenangan Milan vs Madrid di Bernabeu kan?) So United tetap harus waspada...

Semalam Rooney sungguh luar biasa, insting goalnya makin mantabs. Sempat kaget knp Fletcher yg di sayap kiri dan PJS di tengah yaks? Jelas bgt di babak pertama strategy ga berjalan, lbh banyak crossing mentah dan aliran bola ke Rooney kurang. Rafael meski memiliki speed n semangat namun msh kalah jam terbang sm Ronaldinho, mungkin Brown bs jd opsi tp gw prefer Rafael dan gw yakin dia banyak belajar dr game semalam. Evra jelas kepayahan dlm menjaga Pato, bagi gw Pato pemain yg plg bgs di Milan semalam, beruntung ga sampai didlm kotak penalty. Yg paling jeblok semalam adalah Evans terutama babak pertama, kurang fokus hingga sering salah beruntung mencak2nya SAF bs memperbaiki performanya semalam. Selain Rooney, Scholes perlu dapat pujian pergerakan dan jelajahnya sungguh luar biasa, sayang Carrick kurang mensupport. Nani nampaknya msh tegang dikasih peran main di game besar, berutung Valencia sbg pengganti lsg memberi pengaruh, namun bg gw ini kecerdikan SAF yg meilhat Zambrotta di sisi kiri pertahanan Milan sdh mulai kendor.

Intinya we deserved the win, nice performance from the lads...

Btw, Berba yg sgt ingin main harus gigit jari ga dilirik sedikitpun oleh SAF, benar2 BerbaFLOP!!! SAF sdh habis kesabarannya, kekeke........

Review pertandingan dini hari tadi,ah ......:D

United turun dengan formasi 4-3-3 dengan trisula d depan Park JS - Rooney - Nani .... 3 gelandang d tengah diperankan dengan apik oleh Fletcherinho - Scholesy - Carrick .....:-bd

Formasi tersebut langsung berubah menjadi 4-5-1 , ketika kondisi United sedang diserang . Posisi yang menarik justru posisi Park JS sebagai second striker d belakang Rooney dan Darren Flecther sebagai Gelandang Sayap Kiri .

Ketika United dalam kondisi tertekan , Fletcher justru diposisikan melebar d sisi kiri pertahanan .... antitesis dari posisi nya sebagai Gelandang Sayap Kanan atau Gelandang Tengah .

Saya menganalisa bahwa SAF mengintruksikan Fletcher berada d posisi tersebut untuk meredam permainan Beckham dan Pato d sisi kiri pertahanan United . Beckz sudah berumur (hampir) 35 th , tapi crossing dan free kick nya masih akurat seperti dulu ..... :-SS

Gol pertama Milan memang berbau keberuntungan seperti halnya gol pertama United ke gawang Milan....d sini terlihat bahwa Ronaldinho masih berbahaya jika dibiarkan tanpa pengawalan .... berkali-kali Rafael terlihat out of position ketika berduel dengan Ronaldinho ....

Momen paling menegangkan ketika Ronaldinho men dribbling bola sendirian , sambil mengeluarkan gerakan step over , berhadap2an dengan Rio Ferdinand dan d waktu lain memberikan No Look Pass ( ini macam d video game saja umpannya ..... ) dari tengah lapangan ke Huntelaar/ Pirlo .... untung gak jadi gol,tuh ( Thank God , we have a Goalie like Van der Sar ) :amazed:

Nani bermain d bawah form terbaiknya ..... dribbling masih lumayan , tapi giliran crossing ke tengah kotak penalti ..... :hammer:

Pergantian pemain dari Nani ke Valencia membuktikan kejeniusan SAF dalam membaca permainan .....Favalli ( yang sudah berusia 38 th ) terlihat kepayahan dalam meladeni kecepatan dan Dribbling Valencia ..... dan Crossing pertama dari AV25 langsung disambar oleh WR10 untuk dikonversi menjadi gol kedua United ....:D

Setelah gol kedua United , praktis permainan d bawah kendali United .... keunggulan fisik akibat waktu istirahat yang jauh lebih panjang daripada Milan memang menjadi faktor pembeda dalam laga kali ini

Gol ketiga United , hasil assist Fletcher , oleh Rooney memang menjadi pembuktian kedigdayaan Rooney dan performanya yang sangat luar biasa d musim 2009/2010 ....

Sayang , Milan berhasil mencetak gol kedua d menit 80-an , yang diakibatkan kelalaian lini pertahanan dalam menjaga Ronaldinho dan mengawasi pergerakan Seedorf yang tiba-tiba muncul dalam kotak penalti .... :sad:

2. Not a news flash, but the match gave further proof that Manchester United’s defense is in shambles. 6. Man United’s change kit of a plain white shirt accented by random stripes paired with blue shorts and white socks is a bore. The chevron that goes across the chest of both their red and blue shirts is striking and oddly absent from this white shirt. I’m of the belief that Manchester United’s change shirt for European games should be blue whenever possible, in honor of 1968.
7. The tale of the tape for the managers entering the game favored Sir Alex Ferguson’s 36 years of experience against Leonardo’s nine months. Man United weathered the early storm well. Substitutions had real impact. Antonio Valencia came on for an inept Nani in the 64th. Within 2 minutes he lofted a perfect cross for Rooney to head home. Big bossman Clarence Seedorf came on in the 72nd for a largely invisible David Beckham. Seedorf’s audacious and stupendous back-heeled goal in the 85th gave a new intensity to the game’s final minutes and gives Milan hope for the second leg at Old Trafford.
8. The second leg at Old Trafford is not until March 10th. This new gap between legs, implemented this season for the first time, allows us to watch more of the games in this first knockout round. Man United won the first leg, but Milan definitely have the firepower to answer the challenge. With both Milan and Manchester United displaying such ineptitude on defence, it should be another scorcher.
