Kostum Khusus Piala Dunia Para WAGs

Bola.net - Umbro meluncurkan promosi kostum para negara favorit di Piala Dunia. Produsen pakaian olahraga ternama Inggris ini menggunakan para WAGs untuk menjadi model promosi produk barunya ini menjelang dimulainya turnamen sepak bola terakbar sedunia itu.

Dan sebagai andalan Umbro memakai Abbey Clancy sebagai wakil dari Three Lions dalam promosi mereka.

Clancy memang belum pasti akan ke Afrika Selatan untuk Piala Dunia karena tunangannya, Peter Crouch, masih berharap masuk dalam tim pilihan Fabio Capello.

Pelatih timnas Inggris itu terlihat menonton bagaimana bintang Tottenham Hotspurs itu mencetak gol kemenangan lawan Manchester City untuk menjamin klub itu lolos ke Liga Champions musim depan.

Peluncuran kostum itu mencerminkan promosi Umbro yang kembali ke model tahun 60-an. Dalam kostum khusus itu terdapat logo timnas yang didesain ulang oleh para seniman grafiti, kartunis, desainer tato, pemilik label rekaman.

Kostum itu berharga mulai dari 40 pounds. Kostum yang ada mewakili Italia, Uruguay, Perancis, Argentina, Jerman dan Brasil.

Selain Clancy juga ada Charlene Suric (istri pemain Arsenal Gael Clichy), Alice Bregoli (pacar Alberto Gilardino) dan Zaira Nara (istri Diego Forlan).

Tapi tidak ada perwakilan dari Spanyol, yang pada Piala Dunia kali ini menjadi favorit untuk juara.

Kejadian itu berlangsung di sebuah lift di hotel di kawasan New York, Amerika Serikat belum lama ini. Si ibu hamil meminta tolong pemain bola Asal Inggris itu menggosok perutnya supaya anaknya kelak jago main bola dan populer seperti Beckham.

"Wanita itu naik lift, melihat David, dan berkata 'aku hamil. Bisakah menggosok perutku sehingga mungkin belum lahir anak saya akan menjadi atlet terkenal seperti anda?," jelas seorang sumber seperti dilansir Contact Music, Minggu (6/6/2010).

Namun sebelum Beckham mengelus, sang istri berteriak dan mengomel kepada ibu hamil itu. "Sebelum suaminya sempat menjawab, Victoria membentak, 'apakah kau bercanda, apa anda tahu berapa kali perempuan seperti anda mencoba meminta hal seperti itu? Lihat saja dirimu, saya meragukan kalau anda hamil'," lanjut sumber itu. Keinginan ibu hamil itu pun tidak terkabul.

Deborah is yet another non-model, and she’s been Mrs. Pirlo for quite awhile. They have at least two kids together, and – judging from the photos that are online – enjoy long walks through Milan’s shopping district and cavorting on the beach.

Pretoria - Bek Prancis Patrice Evra membujuk federasi sepakbola Prancis memberikan tiket gratis ke Afrika Selatan bagi istri dan kekasih pemain. Keinginan Evra ini menimbulkan kecaman.

Sebelumnya pelatih Raymond Domenech mengeluarkan aturan bahwa para istri dan kekasih pemain, atau yang biasa disebut WAG's baru diizinkan datang bila Prancis mencapai babak perempatfinal.

Namun dalam perkembangan selanjutnya, Evra mencoba menegosiasikan peraturan tersebut. Bek Manchester United itu membujuk federasi sepakbola Prancis (FFF) untuk memberikan tiket gratis ke Afrika Selatan serta akomodasi bagi para WAG's itu selama empat hari, termasuk menyaksikan laga Les Bleus kontra Uruguay yang digelar pada Sabtu (12/6/2010) dinihari WIB.

Namun wakil presiden FFF Noel Le Graet mengindikasikan menolak permintaan tersebut. "Saya lebih cenderung memilih agar para WAG's itu dijauhkan dari kami. Memang dalam kehidupan normal siapa pun bakal merasa lebih baik ketika wanita yang dicintai ada di dekatnya. Tapi secara psikologis, hal itu (menjauhkan WAG's) lebih baik bagi psikologis pemain," ujarnya seperti dilansir dari Daily Mail.

Apa yang dilakukan Evra menimbulkan kecaman. Media online terbesar di Prancis, Le Post dalam tajuknya menuturkan, "FFF harus menyiapkan uang sebesar 240 ribu euro untuk perjalanan romantis dari para WAG's itu. Namun FFF juga memiliki tanggung jawab sosial."

"Uang tersebut lebih baik digunakan untuk membantu pengembangan klub junior, atau membeli kostum dan sepatu bagi anak-anak yang orangtuanya tidak mampu."

Prancis berangkat ke Piala Dunia dengan penuh tekanan, kritik, dan sorotan tajam. Request Evra ini bakal menambah beban bagi Les Bleus.

VIVAnews - Perancis mempersiapkan pertandingan pertama Piala Dunia 2010 lengkap dengan hal teknis dan non-teknis. Persiapan teknis pertandingan jadi wilayah 'kekuasaan' pelatih Raymond Domenech.

Namun soal non-teknis menjadi masalah masing-masing pemain. Pasalnya para punggawa The Blues tidak diperkenankan membawa istri dan pacar masing-masing (Wife and Girlfriends -WAGs).

Kini atas usul salah satu pemainnya, Patrice Evra, Perancis menyiapkan dana £200,000 (Rp 2,7 miliar) untuk membawa pasangan mereka ke Afrika Selatan.

"Saya memilih para istri dan pacar ada di luar sana. Itu sudah psikologis dan lebih baik untuk pemain," kata Evra seperti dilansir The Daily Star, Jumat 11 Juni 2010.

Perancis menjadi salah satu tim penuh kontroversi dalam Piala Dunia kali ini. Pasalnya Le Blues lolos ke Afsel dengan status 'beruntung' lolos dari babak Play Off. Di babak itu Le Blues melawan Irlandia Utara di Stade de France, Saint-Denis, Perancis.

Victoria Beckham in Lingerie on Her Fifth Vogue Cover

KOMPAS.com - After starring alongside her husband David Beckham in the Emporio Armani adverts, Victoria Beckham got used to posing in her underwear. But after being replaced by Megan Fox in the role, the mother-of-three is now free to wear any lingerie she wants.

As she lands her fifth Vogue cover on the Turkish edition, the 36-year-old is peeling off again in a racy new shoot.

Surrounded by handsome young men, the former Spice Girl shows off her svelte and tanned physique in a series of lingerie, swimwear and dresses.

While showcasing new collections from many Turkish designers, including Yildirim Mayruk, she also uses the opportunity to plug her own range by wearing a tan limited-edition trench coat from her Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.

In the accompanying text, Beckham praised Turkish designers for their 'avant-garde' style.

Showing a racier side, Posh flaunts her figure in Agent Provaceur lingerie, teamed with killer heels from her favourite footwear designers Christian Louboutin and Brian Atwood. Mrs Beckham was snapped for the August issue of Turkish Vogue by celebrated photographer Ellen Von Unwerth.

Posh appears to be steadily working her way through some of Vogue's covers, having graced the German edition earlier this year, Russia's version in 2009 and the British and Indian edition two years ago.

But she is yet to land the cover of American Vogue, overseen by editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

She has been friendly with Wintour for many years and admitted she knew she was being taken seriously as a fashion designer when the editor took her calls.

She said last year: 'I’ve been on the covers of Vogue, I’m respected in the fashion industry, Anna Wintour takes my calls!'

VICTORIA Beckham berkolaborasi dengan desainer aksesoris Katie Hillier untuk membuat lini tas. Rencananya, ia bakal meluncurkan lini tas pribadinya.

Vic, panggilan akrabnya, telah menjadi bagian dari fesyen yang diapresiasi pelaku dan peminat fesyen dunia dengan sangat baik. Mengekor kesuksesan lini busana eksklusifnya, penyanyi yang beralih profesi menjadi desainer ini dikabarkan akan bekerja sama dengan desainer aksesoris Katie Hillier untuk membuat sebuah koleksi.

Menurut Vogue, lini koleksi—yang masih dalam tahap awal konsep—akan meramaikan toko busana akhir tahun ini. Koleksi akan menggabungkan keahlian teknis Katie dan berkembang lewat visi desain Vic.

Baru-baru ini, Vic mengaku akan mengeluarkan lini tas dan sepatu. Vic bosan menjadi “bagian promosi” desainer saat ia memakai koleksi mereka. Sebab, apapun yang dipakainya pasti akan ditiru orang lain.

London - Skandal perselingkuhan kembali menimpa pesepakbola top Inggris. Peter Crouch, yang memiliki tunangan secantik Abbey Clancy, tengah dalam sorotan setelah diitengarai menyewa pelacur berusia 19 tahun.

Berita ini sedang heboh di Inggris sejak akhir pekan lalu, setelah seseorang bernama Monica Mint, membeberkan kisah "cinta satu malam" dengan Crouch kepada sebuah media massa. "Aktivitas" mereka dimulai dari sebuah pub di kota Madrid, lalu berlanjut ke sebuah hotel murah dengan menumpang taksi, dan Crouch membayar si wanita dengan harga 1.000 euro (kira-kira Rp 15 juta).

Tentu saja berita ini "dimakan" pers Inggris. Crouch terus dikejar, Abbey pun tak kalah agresif dicari setiap reaksinya.

Yang pasti, Abbey dikabarkan sangat marah pada pemain klub Tottenham Hotspur itu. "Teganya kamu memperlakukan aku sedemikian rupa? Memangnya saya kurang baik apa?" demikian antara lain yang diteriakkan model seksi berusia 24 tahun itu, sebagaimana ditirukan seorang kawan dekatnya.

Crouch, 29, langsung mendapat kecaman dari sana-sini. Ia dinilai sangat bodoh jika benar-benar mengkhianati Abbey. Mereka bilang, bisa mendapat pacar sekelas Abbey pun dianggap sudah rezeki sangat besar bagi Crouch, yang di banyak polling sering masuk daftar pesepakbola terjelek di Inggris.

Kabarnya Abbey sudah mengusir Crouch dari ranjang mereka. Si laki-laki disuruhnya tidur di sofa. Crouch tak tahan dan konon sempat pulang ke rumah orang tuanya.

Abbey pun dilaporkan sudah melepas cincin pertunangan mereka, yang dibelikan Crouch 13 bulan lalu seharga 200 ribu pounds (lebih dari Rp 2 miliar).

Meski marah besar dan kecewa berat, Abbey masih mencoba bertindak tidak terlalu emosional. Katanya ia langsung menemui Toni Poole untuk berkonsultasi, apakah hubungan mereka masih mungkin diperbaiki atau tidak.

Toni adalah istri John Terry yang pernah berselingkuh dengan model bernama Vanessa Peroncel, tapi bisa memaafkan sang suami dan rumah tangga mereka kini sudah "tenang lagi".
