Pasti para pemandu bakat pada bertebaran di Afrika Selatan Juni-Jui nanti nih.

Top 10 young players to watch :

10) Angel Di Maria
http://cms.442.haymarketnetwork.com/contentimages/blog/ArgieBargy/Angel-di-Maria.jpg
Angel Di Maria is an old school left winger who plays for Benfica and is guaranteed to start in that position for Argentina in the WC. He has bags of pace, trickery and has a wand of a left foot. Can score goals and creats tonnes of chances for his team mates. Liverpool fans will remember his excellent contribution in the recent Europa League tie against Benfica.
After excelling in the Under-20 World Cup and eclipsing Messi in the 2008 Olympics this is Di Maria’s chance to impress a global audience.

9) Simon Kjaer
http://soccernet-assets.espn.go.com/design05/mediaUS/20090715/kjaer_200.jpg
Already rumoured to have grabbed the attention of Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs due to his performances for Palermo Simon Kjaer is ready to to bolster his already growing reputation at the world cup. He forms a strong central defence partnership with Daniel Agger and are a major reason why I believe Denmark are potential dark horses in the competition.
Kjaer is extremely good in the air in both boxes and reads the game extremely well. He has a reasonable amount of pace, but his major strengths are in the air and tackle. He has been compared in style to Rio Ferdinand.
One of the best young defenders in the world

8 ) Neven Subotic
http://under21.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/neven-subotic.jpg?w=298&h=415
Another young centre back, Neven Subotic plays his club football in Germany for Borussia Dortmund and has forced his way into the Serbian starting eleven despite only being 21 years old. Has already been linked with Arsenal and Man City.
Subotic is very tall (1.93m) and very pacey. Is strong in the tackle and very good in the air. He is also very comfortable on the ball and has also been compared to Rio Ferdinand in that respect.
He features in a strong Serbian defence alongside Vidic and Ivanovic and if they perform well then Serbia will be a team to avoid.

7) Javier Hernandez (Our New Boy) B-):muflag:
http://i2.esmas.com/2009/05/04/47498/javier-hernandez-300x350.jpg
Javier Hernandez is a 21 year old Mexican striker who has recently signed for Manchester United for around 7million pounds and is the hottest talent in Mexico. He plays for Chivas in Mexico and his scoring record is very good and has recently established himself in the Mexican starting eleven by scoring 4 goals in 4 appearances.
He is a pure striker in the sense that he scores most of his goals inside the area and is very good in the air despite not being the tallest of players. He has good pace and trickery. I would compare with him a young Michael Owen.
A good World Cup would Javier announce himself to Man Utd fans and the rest of the Premier League

6) Keisuke Honda
http://img.skysports.com/09/08/218x298/KeisukeHonda_2345853.jpg
Keisuke Honda is a Japanesse international in the same mould as Nakamura and Nakata. He is an attacking midfielder who can also play on the left. He is a very creative player with an eye for goal. He is also a dead ball specialist.
He has recently left Japan to sign for CSKA Moscow. Since joining CSKA he has been instrumental in the Champions League success of the club as he netted the winner vs Sevilla and also set up other goals.
He will have to shoulder most of the creative burden for Japan in the World Cup and in a relatively even Group E he really could be the difference between progression or an early exit for Japan.

5) Mesut Ozil
http://img.skysports.com/09/06/218x298/mesutozil_2313947.jpg
Mesut Ozil is a 21 year old German playmaker who plays for Werder Bremen.
English fans will be well aware of the lad’s potential after he was instrumental in the German under-21 victory over England in the recent under-21 European Championship final.
He was wonderful vision and a great passing range, along with a fair amount of pace and a cracking long range shot. This season he has filled the void in the Werder team left by the departure of Diego and is regarded as the best young talent in Germany.
He is a classic playmaker and is likely to be Germany’s main creative weapon at the World Cup.

4) MilosKrasic
http://images.football.co.uk/Dynamic/News/400x400/MilosKrasicNew.jpg
Another player who currently plays for CSKA Moscow, although he after the World Cup he is likely to move to a more illustrious club in Europe.
He looks and plays alot like Pavel Nedvded in his pomp. He is very quick and has tremendous close control which gives him the rare ability to simple glide past his markers with minimal effort. He has great passing and finishing ability as well. Overall a sublime player. He demonstrated all these qualities in the CL against Manchester United.
Serbia are a team with a great defensive unit, however in Krasic they have a player who can make things happen at the other end of the pitch. If Krasic is on song, then Serbia will have a long way to go in the tournament. Krasic through his agents recently stated his dream of playing for Manchester United.

3) Nicolas Lodeiro
http://terrenodeportivo.com/josico/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/nicolas-lodeiro-212x300.jpg
Nicolas Lodeiro is a classic South American playmaker from Uruguay who has recently been bought by Ajax in Holland after impressing in the Copa Libertadores for Nacional.
He has been compared to Lionel Messi, due to his size and technique, but in truth plays further back than Messi and is much more a number 10 then inside forward. He is another young player with excellent vision, ability to create goals, good from set pieces and very quick. He is also a very hardworking player who never shirks his defensive responsibilities. Lodeiro likes to roam all over the pitch in search of the ball and is a real creative hub.
He will be tasked to create the chances for Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez at the World Cup

2) Sotiris Ninis
http://www.futbolexclusivo.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/ninis.jpg
Sotiris Ninis is a 20 year old Greek international attacking midfielder who is vice-captain at Panathinaikos. Since making his Panathinaikos debut age 17 he has long been touted at the best talent to ever come out of Greece and has finally started being included in the Greek squad.
Ninis is a player characterised with pace, technique, dribbling ability but most of all superb vision, passing ability and long shots. The way he is comfortable in possession, always seems to have time on the ball and his ability to strike from range remind me of a young Paul Scholes. This season for Panathinaikos he has been tremendous and has struck up a great understanding with Djibril Cisse. His form is best encapsulated by his MOTM performance vs Roma in the Olympico where he simply tore them apart.
When given his chance at the WC it will be as a right winger, but I believe his future is as a central attacking midfielder. He has been linked with Man Utd extensively in the Manchester Evening News and Daily Mail.

1) Alexis Sanchez
http://abolaenossa.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/alexis.jpg?w=500&h=394
Alexis Sanzhez is a 21 year old right winger from Chile who has been praised as being the New Cristiano Ronaldo. He is one of the most exciting off-the-wall talents in world football. His pace and dribbling ability really set him apart from his peers and will make him a nightmare for any defender in the world football.
He is a short player with a low centre of gravity, which he uses to great effect when twisting and turning away from his markers. He also has a terrific shot which enables him to chip him with his fair amount of goals.
Chile are going to be one of the more exciting teams to watch this summer and the player most crucial for their game plan is the young Udinese winger.

Tommy Smith (New Zealand) 20 tahun
http://www.fifa.com/mm/photo/tournament/competition/01/23/22/13/1232213%5ffull-lnd.jpg
FIFA.COM

Around six months ago Tommy Smith was planning a quiet holiday during June 2010, perhaps interspersed with watching the action from South Africa 2010 on television, prior to returning to pre-season training with Ipswich Town. Now the young defender is just days away from featuring for New Zealand in front of a global audience on the world’s greatest football stage.

Having just turned 20, Smith is one of the youngest players at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. However, All Whites coach Ricki Herbert has stated previously he would have no hesitation in naming the mobile defender to face Paraguay, Slovakia or even world champions Italy. Herbert is as well qualified to make that judgement as anyone given that he played in the backline for the All Whites as a 21-year-old in their one and only appearance at the FIFA World Cup™ at Spain 1982.

Indeed, after becoming eligible to represent New Zealand earlier this year following appearances for England youth teams, Smith has featured in all four matches played by the All Whites, including last week’s impressive win against Serbia. The small Austrian city of Klagenfurt was the somewhat unlikely venue as the Kiwis scored a 1-0 win, securing arguably the biggest scalp in the nation's football history.

Smith is a left-sided defender who is likely to be utilised at fullback or centre-half depending on which formation Herbert opts for. The England-born Smith came to New Zealand with his family in 1998 and went through the national youth development system, before returning to the United Kingdom in his mid teens.

“I feel as if I am an All White through and through now really, because most of my football (development) was in New Zealand from a young age,” Smith told FIFA.com. “We have a good chance of doing well, as our opponents won’t expect much from us but with the attitude we’ve got in the squad we are capable of anything. I don’t think anything is impossible.”

Despite his relatively tender years, Smith is not the youngest member of the squad, with that honour falling to giant West Bromwich Albion striker Chris Wood at just 18. The pair form part of a small band of English Championship representatives in the Kiwi side, which also includes Plymouth Argyle’s Rory Fallon and Chris Killen of Middlesbrough.

“The squad has mixed really well, there are a few new faces, so it was going to take a while to gel, but it has worked out nicely,” said Smith. “Nothing else can make your more proud than that (representing your country).”

The international stage on which Smith was first initiated can be matched by few for its sheer magnitude. A friendly match against Mexico at the Rose Bowl in California attracting over 90,000 spectators as the north Americans triumphed 2-0 over the All Whites. Unsurprisingly, Smith has found he had to adapt quickly to the vastly different arena that is international football.

“It is a completely different style of football as the Championship is all a hundred miles-an-hour hustle and bustle. International football is a lot more reserved and teams take their chance to attack on the counter-attack more often.

“I’m looking forward to being involved in the World Cup. Every kid growing up playing football wants to represent their country, and I am lucky enough to be able to do that.”

Rene Krhin
http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/England+v+Slovenia+International+friendly+6xykgpip sP6l.jpg

Jose Mourinho says that he has “everything a young player should have”, and it seems that several of Europe’s top clubs agree. Rene Krihin has, for some time, been one of the world’s most sought-after and talked-about youngsters. Inter Milan won the race for his signature when he was just 16 and have spent much of the time since fending off interest from some of Europe’s biggest spenders.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool were all confirmed to have been considering a £7 million move for the 6ft 3ins midfielder before he made good on his oft-stated commitment to I Nerazzurri by agreeing a new four-year deal at the turn of the year. This has been Krhin’s breakthrough season, with Mourinho – having taken him on the club’s pre-season tour of America – fielding him in four Serie A matches, including a first start in Inter’s 2-0 win over Livorno on 1 November.

At international level, Matjaz Kek has been keen to avoid rushing the youngster’s development and has carefully managed his graduation to the senior set-up. Krhin played just five minutes of Slovenia’s FIFA World Cup 2010™ qualifiers, in the 3-0 win over San Marion, having made his debut the month before as a second half substitute in the 2-1 friendly defeat by England.

Kek may be treading carefully with this midfield prodigy, but there is no question that he shares the widespread belief that Slovenia have a player destined for greatness. Krhin has subsequently added to his cap collection with another substitute’s appearance in the 4-1 friendly win over Qatar, and while time is running out to displace his more experienced midfield rivals in Kek’s starting line-up, this is a youngster who remains well worth watching at South Africa 2010.

Chris Wood, New Zealand

http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/274078.png
CHRIS WOOD is hoping to make a big impression at the World Cup.
The West Brom striker, who is one of the youngest players in South Africa at just 18, will star for New Zealand this summer.

Despite his tender age and lack of first team experience with the Baggies, Wood has been a regular in the All Whites setup.

He has made six appearances for his national team over the past 12 months and is set to face giants Italy, Paraguay and Slovakia this month.

Wood said: "I've progressed a lot this year.

"It's been a good season both with the West Brom first team and the national team. Things are going well.

"It's been a learning experience and I'm glad I've got my first season as a pro under my belt.

"Now I want to kick on with the rest of my career."

New Zealand have several options up front, with Middlesbrough's Chris Killen, A-League top-scorer Shane Smeltz and Plymouth's Rory Fallon.

But coach Ricki Herbert seems to favour Wood.

He said: "We've managed him in a certain way but there's something about him with his age and his build, he could be a little X-factor for us.

"He's a good balanced boy with a very good head on his shoulders and he's at a great club.

"The world is at his feet and I think the ingredients he has could be exciting for the team.

"People know Smeltz, Killen and Fallon, but not many people know Chris yet."

German punya Toni Kroos and Marko Marin.

http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/275162.png
(4 January 1990)
Toni Kroos has been billed as the youthful gem of German football for some time, and many argue he could one day attain world class status. Still just 20, he already boasts an enviable career record. Born in Greifswald to a sporting family, he turned down numerous offers to move abroad in summer 2006 and switched instead from Hansa Rostock to the Bayern Munich academy. He went on to win the adidas Golden Ball as best player at the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2007 in Korea, where he led the German juniors to third spot.

Bayern quietly and carefully nurtured Kroos in the hope of ending up with the next German superstar, but the plot took an unexpected twist after Jurgen Klinsmann’s arrival at the Munich helm. The technically gifted midfielder’s development stalled, and he was sent out on loan to Bayer Leverkusen.

Kroos finally burst onto the Bundesliga scene in a big way last season. Scheming and prompting from midfield, he began dictating the pace of matches as a matter of routine. He scored vital goals too, and his work-rate was substantial as Leverkusen arrived at the midpoint of the season unbeaten and top of the league. A genuinely modest and retiring character away from the field of play, Kroos was named Bundesliga Player of the Month in December 2009, and his name was increasingly linked with the senior Germany team.

The 1.82 metre man duly earned a first full cap in March 2010 in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Argentina in Munich. Kroos, who returns to Bayern from his loan period with Leverkusen this summer, is unlikely to play a central role at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, but boss Joachim Low might just turn to his creativity and shooting skill if he wishes to switch things around in a tight spot. Regardless of his experiences at South Africa 2010, the player is a solid bet for a bright future.

http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/297407.png
(13 March 1989)
Whether this slight figure of a man is striking the ball sweetly around the park, bursting into space between defenders, or gliding, ball at feet, past flat-footed opponents, fans tend to be left open-mouthed in amazement. Marko Marin can only be described as one of the uncut diamonds of German football, an attacking player who mostly operates on the wing and is capable of turning matches in a trice.

A central playmaker in the youth ranks at Eintracht Frankfurt, the 1.70m-tall forward moved at the age of 15 to Borussia Monchengladbach, where he made his professional debut after a further period of fine-tuning. As early as September 2007, when Marin was awarded the Fritz Walter gold medal as Germany’s best young footballer, it was evident that the young man of Bosnian-Serb extraction was a special talent. Last summer, he signed for Werder Bremen and his international career was ready for take-off.

In May 2008, the goalscorer and midfield creator came to the attention of all German football fans for the first time when national coach Joachim Low unexpectedly called the then second division player into his preliminary squad for UEFA EURO 2008. He did not make the final squad, but that disappointment ultimately only made him more determined to succeed. The following August, making his second international appearance in a friendly against Belgium, the midfielder scored an outstanding goal just minutes after coming on following a slick interchange with Philipp Lahm.

From that evening in Nuremberg onwards, Low was well aware of the unpredictability and creative spark potentially on offer from a player such as Marin in tight situations against the world’s top teams. The 21-year-old must be considered a real option in South Africa as a wide attacking midfielder in a 4-5-1 system.

Tim Dinamit punya striker masa depannya asal Ajax, dnger" doi inceran United jg loh.

Christian Eriksen
http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/321716.png
(14 February 1992)
At just 18 years of age, Christian Eriksen is the youngest member of the Danish squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. However, anyone thinking the attacking midfielder is merely travelling to the Rainbow Nation for the ride would be grossly mistaken.

Eriksen was just 16 when he was snapped up by renowned talent-spotters Ajax Amsterdam, where he soon drew comparisons with UEFA Champions League winner Wesley Sneijder, who also began his career with the Dutch giants.

Eriksen's greatest strength is undoubtedly his vision. Despite his tender years, he recognises match situations quicker than most players almost twice his age. Furthermore, he is two-footed, technically superb and surprisingly versatile. Not only does he create goals, he also pops up with his own fair share too.

Several top clubs from around Europe, including the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, are already said to have put their feelers out for the Danish youngster, though it seems Eriksen is happy to continue his development in Amsterdam for the time being.

After making over 30 appearances for his country's national youth teams, Eriksen was voted U-17 Danish Player of the Year in 2008. The 18-year-old got his break in the senior squad when a number of injuries to key players such as Jesper Gronkjaer and Martin Jorgensen led to his inclusion for a friendly match against Austria.

While Eriksen faces a tough job forcing some of the more established players out of the starting 11 in South Africa, coach Olsen will be glad to know he can rely upon the young midfielder to inject some quality from the bench.

From Slovakia yg baru bw Twente juara Eredivise :) =D>

Miroslav Stoch19 October 1989
http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/306306.png
Still just 20, Miroslav Stoch is rightfully regarded as the new boy wonder of Slovak football. An exciting future lies ahead of the pint-sized attacking midfielder, who continues to improve with each game, laying on and scoring classy goals with a nonchalance that belies his age. Currently on loan from Chelsea at Twente, in the Dutch Eredivisie, he hopes to see his star rise even further at 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.

Miroslav Stoch began his career at Nitra, in the town of his birth. Skilful yet hard-working, it did not take long for the local coaching staff to grasp the extent of his talent, and a first-team place in the top tier of Slovakian football became his, at the tender age of 16. However, with the scouting networks of the major European clubs already alerted to the highly rated youngster, his playing time at home was cut short by a transfer to Chelsea in the run-up to the 2006/07 season. Stoch duly entered the London club’s youth academy, in which he made excellent progress. He was given his full debut two years later, but was hungry for more minutes on the pitch than Chelsea could offer him, and it was at that stage that Twente stepped in.

Pacy, incisive in his passing, and a top-notch finisher, Stoch played as much of a key role in Twente’s glorious league title-winning season as he did in Slovakia’s march to the FIFA World Cup finals. Clearly one of the men to watch in South Africa, he will aim to reproduce his recent outstanding domestic success at international level.

Nicolas Otamendi12 February 1988
http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/310116.png
Nicolas Otamendi is one of the players in Diego Maradona’s squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ still plying his trade in Argentinian football. A product of the youth system at Velez Sarsfield, the centre-back earned rave reviews from fans and pundits alike after just a handful of first-team appearances thanks to his strength of character and steely man-marking.

Born in 1988, two years after Maradona inspired his country to victory at Mexico 1986, Otamendi is currently one of the most promising defenders on the Argentinian scene. Already boasting a league winner’s medal with Velez from the 2009 Clausura, he was also selected in that year’s South American all-star XI by respected Uruguayan paper El País.

A self-confessed admirer of former Albiceleste defensive stalwart Roberto Ayala, ex-amateur boxer Otamendi stands out thanks to his physical strength and ability to snuff out gaps in the backline. Already rumoured to be on the shopping list of several European giants, solid displays at South Africa 2010 would only enhance his value on the transfer market.

On senior national team duty, he made his competitive debut in a 2-0 FIFA World Cup qualifying defeat at altitude against Ecuador and kept his place in the Albiceleste’s following qualifier: a 3-1 home reverse at the hands of Brazil. Out of the picture for the next two qualifiers, Otamendi reclaimed his place in defence for the vital clash against Uruguay in Montevideo where, despite being deployed in an unfamiliar right-sided role, he helped his team to a clean sheet in the 1-0 win which sealed automatic qualification.

Gervinho 27 May 1987 Doubts a new Drogba?!

http://english.aljazeera.net/mritems/Images//2009/9/30/2009930133831741427_8.jpg
Côte d'Ivoire captain at U-21 level and a senior first-team regular in the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Beijing 2008 side, Lille winger Gervais Kouassi made a real breakthrough in 2009/10. Scorer of two goals in just three qualifiers on the road to South Africa, he has raised his profile both on the international stage and in Ligue 1 of late, winning plaudits for his natural talent, technique and pace.

Present as the Elephants fell 3-2 after extra-time to Algeria in the quarter-finals of the 2010 CAF Africa Cup of Nations, he was deeply disappointed by that loss and will be keen to show that lessons have been learnt. “It’s not normal that, with all our experience, we weren’t able to protect our lead,” he said of the dramatic conclusion to that match, which saw the Ivorians take the lead in the last minute, only to concede a soft equaliser in stoppage time.

“It’s a huge disappointment because we really wanted this trophy. Defensively, we need to play more as a team; we have to go about it together. Sometimes we let someone else do the work and just watch them, but I’m certain that this failure will help us and put us back on the right track.”

Born in Anyama, Gervais Kouassi started out as a pupil at the Jean-Mac Guillou Academy of capital side ASEC Mimosas, spending five years with ASEC before turning professional at Toumodi. In the summer of 2005, he joined Romaric, Emmanuel Eboue and Boubacar Barry at Beveren, and although the Belgian side’s results were hardly inspiring during his stay, he shone out on the flank and notched 14 goals in two seasons.

Impressed by his potential, Le Mans brought him on board in June 2007 and, following a season spent adapting to the French game, during which his international debut also came in November 2007, he truly announced his arrival in 2008/09. That persuaded Lille to secure his services and, still only 22, 'Gervinho' is now one of the outstanding talents in Ligue 1.

Sial ketinggalan bnyk nih guys gw,sorry yah.
Setelah melihat bbrapa pertandingan dr pembuka samapi skrg, gw dpt bbrapa pemain yg berprospek digaet klub besar musim panas ini nih. Here we go :

Fabio Coentrao

At times, football can be a cruel game. For every successful career, there are those who fall by the wayside, outstanding talents destined never to grace the sport’s greatest stage. In the case of Portugal’s young star Fabio Coentrao, his ability has never been in doubt, but he has had to work hard to show the desire and will to win required at the top level.

Coentrao exploded onto the scene with Rio Ave, where his dazzling wing-play, electric pace and ability to beat defenders in the manner of a Portuguese star of a previous generation earned him the nickname ‘Figo das Caxinas’ in reference not just to the great man but also to his hometown, Vila do Conde.

In 2007/08, Benfica swooped to sign the young winger, giving him his long-awaited opportunity to prove himself on a bigger stage. But the youngster initially struggled in his new surroundings, and many seasoned observers wondered whether his unquestioned potential would ever be translated into the successful career that seemed to lie ahead of him. Coentrao swallowed his pride and went out on loan, firstly to Madeira, where he played for Nacional, then to Real Zaragoza, in Spain, and finally back to his first club, Rio Ave.

The talented winger grew in confidence, and was finally ready to turn potential into reality. At the start of the 2009/10 season Benfica coach, Jorge Jesus, gave him his big chance at left-back, and Coentrao has gone on to put together a string of impressive displays. It was not long before international football came calling, and three years after starring for his country in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, the Benfica player was selected by national coach Carlos Queiroz for the decisive play-off qualifier against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Pablo BARRERA
http://www.fifa.com/imgml/tournament/worldcup2010/players/xl/271393.png
21 June 1987
SUPERSUB, Crossing sm footworknya bagus bngt, flair nya apa lagi.
Komoditi panas nih summer transfer, apalagi klub nya hanya semenjana PUMAS Mexico. (money talk)

He may be little known outside Mexico, but Pablo Barrera is considered one of the potential stars of the Tricolor team in South Africa. A speedy right-sided attacker, Barrera is skillful on the ball and has a fierce shot from distance. One such strike won his club, Pumas, the Clausura in Mexico last year.

Before joining his international colleagues at their pre-FIFA World Cup camp in April, he was Pumas’ top scorer for the season so far with six goals in 13 games – a total that is more admirable for the fact he plays in a deeper position for his club than for his country.

Barrera participated in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada in 2007 and that same year received his first senior call-up. Not until 2009, however, did he become a regular under present coach Javier Aguirre.

In the CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup™ qualifiers, the Mexico coach used him consistently as a second-half substitute, and he seldom failed to make a positive impact. He is likely to fill a similar role in South Africa which, according to the consensus among Mexican football watchers, may well be his last international tournament before moving to a club abroad.

Scouting: Fabio Coentrao

Talking Reds talent spotter Alexiano recommends Portugal's marauding left-back...

Player name: Fábio Alexandre da Silva Coentrão
National team: Portugal
Club team: Benfica
Position: Left-back, winger
Age: 22

Match scouted: Portugal 7-0 Korea DPR, 21 June 2010

Key moment: He looks very lively down the left flank. He kept Korea DPR's winger quiet and, despite it being a high-scoring game, showed defensive discipline to go with his quick feet and strong running into the opposition half. He was also involved in Portugal's third goal with a great run and perfect cross for Almeida.

Strengths: For a 22-year-old, Coentrão has a great balance between his defensive and attacking attributes. He can clear the ball from an opponent's attack, immediately turning a defensive situation into an goalscoring one for his team-mates! He is versatile and can play left-back or further upfield as a winger. His crossing is a major strength.

Weakness: No major weaknesses to report. He played for the whole 90 minutes and helped keen a clean sheet.

Suitability: He could provide cover if Evra were to suffer an injury or needed a rest, or form a potent partnership with Patrice on the left side.
Estimated cost: Benfica may demand somewhere in the region of £10million after his wonderful performances at this World Cup.

Old Trafford.(MEG/News of the World)

Hati Sanchez Ada di United
Minggu, 27 Juni 2010 - 16:14 wib
Muchamad Syuhada - Okezone
