Lilly Rae Doyle, a three-year-old from Benchill, Wythenshawe, repeatedly tries to remove the blue school cardigan, while crying “I don’t like blue, I want to get if off”.

Lily Rae's mother, Faye Cummins, 28, said she wasn't surprised by her daughter's reaction, but did try to calm her down by informing her that United do sometimes play in a blue away kit.

"I knew she wasn’t going to be happy. She just loves United, she is such an avid fan and loves everything to do with them. It’s always United, United, United."

"We went to buy the uniform earlier this week and we thought once she had it on we might be able to talk her round.

"It was a nightmare, I don’t know how we’re going to get on when it’s her first day at school because she’s not changing her mind. I don’t think it’s going to be easy.

"It’s tough to see my little girl upset but I’m sure she’ll get used to the new uniform. She’s so passionate about United and I think the video’s brilliant, I hope it’s something which will make other people smile as well.

"Most of my family are City fans, it’s just me and my sister that are United. They’ve all seen the video and they all think it’s quite funny, they’d much rather she was a Blue."

Upon hearing about Lily Rae's horror at being presented with the blue uniform, United took to their official Twitter account to offer the three-year-old a free blue third kit, to soften the blow.

When we saw Lilly’s reaction we took to Twitter to reassure her that she could still be a Red and wear blue.

The message was reaffirmed on Monday as Lilly paid us a visit at the Theatre of Dreams and posed for photos in the blue third kit with mum Faye Cummins and Faye's partner Andrew Mitchell.

Lilly says she's learned to like blue now and has promised to wear her new shirt – featuring LILLY 7 on the back – when she attends United's forthcoming home game against Hull City as a special guest of the club.

Ketidaksukaannya sama blue jersey agak sama kaya saya..
Soalnya dulu pertama kali liat united pake biru, Eeh dikalahin arsenal 3-2..padahal udh sempet nyamain kedudukan lewat 2 goal om Sheringham..hehe..

Selain itu, baru tau juga, united menang champions league (dulu liga champions) itu ternyata pake blue jersey ya..hehe..
