semoga membantu yahh..

Sponsers of Manchester United

Shirt makers

Manchester United had four shirt-makers, which Admiral, Addidas, Umbro, and Nike.

Shirt Sponsers

Once again Man United have only had three shirt sponsers which are Sharp, (1982-1999), Vodafone (2000-2006), and AIG(2006-present)

kita jalan mundur yaa Bro ...
untuk musim ini dulu (2006 - 2007) biar gampang ...

sponsor resmi United :

AIG - Nike - Air Asia - Audi - Betfred - Budweiser - Tourism Malaysia

untuk musim lalu (2005 - 2006)

Official partners United :

Vodafone - Nike - Audi - Budweiser - 105.4 centuryFM - Ladbrokes.com - pepsi - fuji film - wilkinson sword

barusan deal kontrak lagi nih - Royal Resort

untuk nyang Kumho, juga udah resmi kok ...

TEAMtalk:

The Old Trafford outfit have just announced a new multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Spanish commercial giants Grupo 2002 to promote residential properties throughout the globe under the Royal Resorts Sports and Leisure banner.

The five-year contract emphasises the continuing global appeal of United, who have similar platinum sponsorship deals with Air Asia, Budweiser, Audi and Kumho Tyres and comes on the back of some hugely impressive performances in both domestic and European combat by Ferguson's men this season.

klo ditulis "similiar platinum sponsorship deals" mestinya sih gedhe yaa ..
hehehe ...

oh yaa, yg Kumho, ternyata kelewat beritanya, udah ada di ManUtd sejak januari lalu

Reds welcome Korean partner

Manchester United has today welcomed Kumho Tires as a new commercial partner.

Kumho Tires, based in Seoul, Korea is a leading manufacturer of tyres for automotive vehicles.

Andy Anson, United's Commercial Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kumho Tires to our family of partners and look forward to forging a strong relationship with them over the next few years.

"United’s presence in Korea continues to grow; we now have around 650,000 holders of official MU payment cards in Korea, which is incredible, and are planning to play our first match there during our Asian Tour this summer.”

“United in 2010” – A Monumental Step in
Building Our Global Brand

By Greg Case, President and Chief Executive Officer

It is a rather unique opportunity in the business world when two leaders in their respective fields can come together in a global partnership such as the one we have announced with our friends at Manchester United, the world’s #1 sports brand.

When you are on the field of play and you see an opening, you go for it with a vengeance. When we became aware of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to team up with one of the world’s most powerful sports brands, we knew that it was something we wanted to be part of, and we moved aggressively to get it. Our colleagues at Manchester United share many of our same values, including a desire for excellence and winning. In every match they leave it all on the pitch, just like our Aon colleagues who do everything they can to deliver distinctive value to our clients. We felt, and our friends at Manchester United agreed, that this was a powerful combination that will have tremendous impact in the world of sport and business!

So why did this partnership happen?

Aon has been on a journey to reach its full potential. We have taken many steps to build our Firm and to position it as the leading global provider of risk management services and human capital consulting, but we have yet to make a major commitment in promoting the Aon brand.

With our strategy clearly defined and with a strong foundation underneath everything we do as a Firm, we reflected on how best to reinforce our brand on a global basis and create an opportunity to communicate on a broader scale the value we bring to our clients.

Our partnership with Manchester United meets all of our criteria. As the #1 brand in the world’s #1 sport, Manchester United gives the Aon brand a truly global platform with exposure to the world’s largest fan base of over one billion soccer fans and the over 330 million Manchester United fans over a wide variety of distribution channels, including sponsorship of the world famous shirt starting with the 2010/11 season.

Announcing the deal, Manchester United chief executive David Gill said, “We are delighted to be entering such an important relationship with a company of the stature of Aon and to have its logo adorn our shirts from the start of the 2010-11 season. We look forward to being closely aligned with the world leader in risk management, a firm which shares our values and is an exciting partner for Manchester United. Today’s announcement clearly strengthens our position as the world’s leading football club.”

And speaking about that world famous shirt, more than 6 million Manchester United shirts are sold in a year, giving Aon more than 6 million “walking billboards” annually. With each appearance Manchester United makes, they will add to their fan base in both existing and new markets. Starting in 2010 the Aon-sponsored shirt will continue to build equity for our Firm as it increases its impression rate globally.

Manchester United’s record of excellence on the pitch is rivaled only by their success as a global brand. Nearly 90 million people watch their weekly matches. Approximately 1.15 billion households have access to Manchester United’s games, and their web site receives approximately 60 million impressions per month, of which 70 percent are outside of the United Kingdom. And Manchester United has no match in sports when it comes to their global brand awareness: 100 percent in the U.K. and Korea, 98 percent in Germany, 90 percent in China, and 80 percent in Japan.

The strong Manchester United brand is compelling because it provides Aon with an opportunity to communicate the value we bring to clients on a broader base than we ever could have achieved on our own. We also will have the chance to maximize the value of our partnership in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East as well as take advantage of Manchester United’s strong presence in the United Kingdom and Europe.

So why did we align ourselves with Manchester United? It was an opportunity that we could not afford to pass up. It was an opportunity to line up the #1 brand in the world’s #1 sport with the #1 firm in the world when it comes to providing solutions to clients on how to best manage their risk. Just like the players for Manchester United who strive for success each time they play, we at Aon work hard every day to make sure our clients are getting the best service we can possibly provide. Our 37,000 Aon colleagues work together as a global team, they leave it all out on the field each and every day just like those who put on the world famous Manchester United shirt, and we are not satisfied unless we are the winner at the end of the day.

The 333 million Manchester United fans will see a very united partner who will be much more than just a name on a shirt. They will see a global team of 37,000 strong committed to a single purpose – of building the Aon brand.

Q & A Aon and United :shakehand:

What does Aon do?
Aon is a global company, headquartered in Chicago. It has a global footprint, spanning more than 120 countries, 500 offices, and 37,000 employees. Around 5,400 employees work within its UK operations.

Aon is primarily an insurance and reinsurance broker (reinsurance being insurance for insurers), and is the leader in its sector. These operations are dealt with by its Aon Risk Services and Aon Benfield divisions respectively. As an insurance and reinsurance broker, Aon assists organizations across the world to obtain insurance cover for the risks they face. These risks are incredibly diverse: from natural catastrophes and employee injuries, to terrorism strikes and disruption to supply chains.

When finding insurance for these organizations, Aon has access to a wide range of global markets. The London Market (including the world-renowned Lloyd's of London) is one of the primary markets, as is the US market. Asia is also an important and growing market.

Aon's third key division is Aon Consulting. Aon Consulting is among the top global human consulting firms, with a team of 6,300 global experts who work with organizations to improve business performance and shape the workplace of the future through employee benefits, talent management and rewards strategies and solutions.

Aon is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol AOC.

Why was the Manchester United / Aon partnership attractive?
Manchester United invited just a few firms to tender for the key sponsorship of its team, and so we were very pleased to be selected. Whilst Aon is already the world's largest insurance and reinsurance broker, and a company many people come into contact with in their daily lives without even realizing it we wanted to build brand recognition outside of our immediate sector and establish a worldwide platform to communicate to clients and prospects about the value we can bring to their business. We felt that partnering with Manchester United — football's most recognized brand — was the perfect way to do this.

What was appealing about football and Manchester United specifically?
Football is dynamic, competitive and appeals to a global audience. It transcends cultures and people, and brings communities together like no other sport. It goes without saying that for Aon to become part of this high energy environment is extremely exciting. Like Aon, Manchester United has a truly global reach. The club has a great pedigree, and shares both our ambition for worldwide appeal, and our pursuit of excellence. This partnership allows us to bring the Manchester United brand into our core business areas, and will help us to grow in emerging insurance and reinsurance markets, such as parts of Asia, where the Manchester United brand is very strong. The Manchester United shirt is an iconic image in the world of sport, and the chance to appear on it is very rare — we are only the fourth company to do so in history of the club.

How will this partnership work?
This is a four-year global partnership and brand sponsorship agreement which, in addition to having Aon's brand on the Manchester United shirt, will present opportunities for joint product marketing and services to consumers. The Aon logo will appear on the shirts from the 2010/11 season, and we feel that tremendous benefits will arise from having our brand exposed to the millions of fans across the world that follow this team every day.

Was this a big decision for Aon in the current economic climate?
The economic downturn has affected virtually all businesses, but we felt that we had to continue to be forward thinking in our attitude. An opportunity such as this to build a world recognized brand rarely presents itself, and it seemed that we should grab it now and reap the rewards in the years to come. In general, our sector has been less affected than those of the other global financial services providers, and so we were fortunate to be in a position where we could seriously consider an opportunity of this scale.

How do you rate the Manchester United brand?
The club should be commended for the way it has marketed itself globally. Most football fans, whether they support Manchester United or not, would agree that the club has helped spread interest in the Premiership throughout the world, which has benefited all teams in terms of more lucrative television rights and sponsorship deals. Aon will benefit from Manchester United's increasing global fan base, which is testament to the appeal of the brand and the players. For instance, anyone who has traveled throughout Asia will know that many countries in the region have taken Premiership football to their hearts in as passionate a way as the club's domestic fans. We would like to assure all Manchester United fans that they will see a very committed partner in Aon, which will be more than just a name on the shirt.

Manchester United is very active on the charitable front. How will Aon participate?
Throughout our existence as a global firm, Aon has always taken seriously its community responsibilities. Our mantra is that we give back to those communities in which we do business, and considering we do business in more than 120 countries, this leaves us a wide scope for charitable work. In partnering with Manchester United, we have the opportunity to work with a club that shares our values in this regard. When considering this sponsorship, Manchester United's "United for UNICEF" campaign was particularly appealing. There is no other sport that teaches young people the principles of teamwork and striving for excellence as much as football, and there is no other sports organization in the world that teaches the values of UNICEF as well as Manchester United does.

..eheheeh...

Aon : A Case study

Manchester United and Aon launched the start of a four-year sponsorship deal at Old Trafford on Tuesday 1 June. ManUtd.com caught up with Aon president and chief executive Greg Case to get the lowdown on the club's new principal sponsor...

It’s almost a year to the day since the deal was first announced. You’ve been waiting a long time for this…
We could barely be more excited. Walking into Old Trafford to officially begin the partnership was such an incredible thrill. We’ve done a lot of work over the last year, working together with our friends from Manchester United, to get to this stage, but there’s no substitute for the real thing. Nothing prepares you for the sight of Aon and Old Trafford combining together – the hairs on the back of my neck stood up when I walked into this incredible, iconic stadium. It’s a big thrill.

Why Manchester United?
Manchester United is the number one club in the number one sport in the world. It has 90 per cent brand recognition in China, which is incredible. It has 100 per cent in Korea, 90 per cent in Latin America… and everyone knows just how big United is in England and Europe. That kind of brand recognition is simply unmatched, so that’s why this is such a great opportunity for Aon to get involved.

And what about Aon’s credentials?
We work with more companies – big companies, medium-sized companies and small companies – in the area of risk than any other insurance firm in the world. We help companies understand risk, prevent risk and deal with risk… in Chile, for example, we’re currently putting more companies back on their feet than anyone else in the world. Where there’s trauma in the world we help companies recover from that trauma, and we do more of that sort of work than anybody else. Whether it’s insuring a cup of coffee or making sure some of the biggest companies in the world understand risk, Aon is there.

Just how attractive is the chance to advertise on United’s shirts?
We see it as very unique. As I’ve already outlined, Manchester United’s brand recognition and market penetration is unrivalled around the world. So when you marry that with Aon’s local presence – we’re in 120 countries – we feel it’s a very, very strong partnership.

Were there ever any doubts during the tender process? Or is this the sort of opportunity you’d be mad to turn down?
We were obviously very excited initially and we felt very privileged that we were one of the few companies the club invited to pitch for this sponsorship. We know Manchester United invested a lot of time and money into doing their research on the companies they felt they could potentially work with. But we also did a lot of our own investigating. And I have to say, every stone we turned over, every new piece of information that came to light… they all reaffirmed the power of Manchester United and the potential this partnership could have. Now we hope to fulfil that potential.

Is there more to Aon’s involvement than shirt sponsorship?
Absolutely. We’re also investing in communities all around the world. At Old Trafford on Tuesday we had people taking penalty kicks for charity, raising money for The Christie cancer facility in Manchester. Meanwhile, in 120 countries around the world, Aon staff are investing back into the local communities. We’ve got more than 500 offices and each one has picked their own charity to support during our time with Manchester United.

Have charitable projects always been part of Aon’s vision?
We operate out of more than 500 offices around the world, so we like to think of Aon as a very local firm, as well as a global firm. And part of the Aon legacy has always been to invest back into the communities. With this partnership with Manchester United we want to continue to uphold that ethic and get out there and make a difference. It’s one of the great things about this deal – we’re looking forward to continuing what we’ve always done, but doing it alongside Manchester United, which is the biggest name in global sport. I'm sure a lot of good will come out of this.

MANCHESTER – Manchester United kembali mendapat sokongan sponsor.
