LONDON (August 12th, 2009) – Sports Interactive & SEGA® Europe Ltd. can today announce that Football Manager™ 2010 for PC and Apple Macintosh, and Football Manager™ Handheld 2010 for Sony PSP will be released on October 30th.

Football Manager 2009 is the most successful in the Football Manager series to date, clocking up 22 weeks at No.1 in the UK (PC charts) and selling in excess of 1 million copies worldwide, as well as being voted the 2nd best video game of all time in a recent Radio 1 poll.

According to data gathered from Football Manager 2009, people played the game for an average of 240 hours each and developer Sports Interactive has spent the last year working closely with consumers and the Football Manager community to implement key improvements to this year’s game. Football Manager 2010 features new tools and changes across the board including some big additions to improve ease of use, navigation and feedback from the game with the introduction of a brand new match tactics system, the debut of a Match Analysis tool, a completely new look and new User Interface among other features.

“We have worked very hard with the Football Manager community to target not only the areas of the game that needed re-working but also what we could add to improve what’s already there. We’ve also conducted extensive usability studies which has led us to overhaul the whole presentation of the game, which we’re really excited about,” said Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive. “There has been a lot of polish to existing areas of the game but it’s also driven us to introduce changes to answer some of the feedback. We’re very confident that having done that we will deliver the very best Football Manager to date in October.”

The introduction of a Tactics Creator makes it easier to instruct the team to play the way the manager wants, alongside the introduction of touchline ‘shouts’ and quick tactic changes for instantly altering your team’s playing style during the match. Working with coaches from various levels of football, alongside some of the Football Manager communities most respected independent tacticians, the game now has an extensive array of pre-set tactical options allowing the user to select a player’s role in the team (such as ‘Ball winning midfielder’ or ‘Deep lying playmaker’), however the option to use the old ‘slider’ controls remains.

Feedback from matches has been improved to give the user better insight into where their team is going wrong, or right. A new Match Analysis tool lets players see where shots, passes, crosses, headers, tackles, fouls and interceptions have been made on the field for all players on the pitch. Managers can view this analysis both live in-game and post match, allowing them to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of both their team and their opponent’s and adjust their tactics accordingly.

Football Manager 2010 features a brand new User Interface, with a light and a dark skin to choose from as part of a vibrant new look and has undergone a complete navigational overhaul. The side bar navigation of previous years has been replaced by an intuitive tab system at the top of the screen, making Football Manager’s famed depth easier to navigate and will make the game more accessible to new players.

Following the debut of a 3D match view in Football Manager 2009, this year’s release sees a revamp with improved AI, over 100 new animations for the 3D pitch view, new stadiums, crowds, realistic pitch degradation and better lighting, creating an even more realistic match experience.

New Features

Polish:
A year of polish, making the game faster, more immersive, more realistic and easier to play with better in game feedback and more advice, delivered in a more user friendly way.

Improved Match Engine:
Improved AI, over 100 new animations in 3D mode, new stadiums and crowds, improved pitch degradations and better lighting make for the most immersive pitch-side experience ever.

Match Analysis:
A match analysis tool that shows you where shots, passes, crosses, headers, tackles, fouls and interceptions have been made on the field for both teams. See this analysis both live in game, and post match, allowing you to pinpoint the weaknesses and strengths of both your team and your opponents.

New User Interface:
A completely new vibrant look and feel to the game, plus a navigational overhaul. The side menu is replaced by an intuitive tab system, based on extensive consumer feedback and usability studies, which allows you to access all areas of FM 2010 quickly and easily.

Tactical Overhaul:
A new tactics module makes it much easier to make your team play as you want them to. There are thousands of possible pre-set options and touchline “shout” instructions for making instant changes to your teams playing style. Don’t worry; the old system is still there for people who love their sliders.

News Center:
A subscription based newspaper. Get the news about the football world around you that you want, and not the news you don’t want.

New Data Editor:
Including a brand new Competition Editor allowing you to add competitions and extra levels for leagues currently in the game, and add completely new competitions and leagues all via a very simple to use editor. Plus, the new editor allows you to keep your game up to date more easily than ever before.

Klo maennya cuman pake gambar yang 2D kan ya nggak butuh VGA gede2. Kompiku VGAnya onboard sih kuat buat maen FM2009 tapi gambarnya 2D. klo pengen gambar yang 3D sih ya butuh VGA yang yahud...

Threadnya dah lama nggak keisi ya. Sambil nunggu FM 2010 release aku mo nanya tentang FM2009, mungkin ada yang sih inget atau ada yang sih maen. Di FM2009 kan ada preffered moved yang bisa dilatih ataupun emang dah ada di tiap pemaen. sebenernya aku nggak begitu paham sama beberapa macem preffered moved seperti move into channels dan tries killer balls often.efeknya di permainan seperti apa?trus di antara preffered moves itu yang paling menguntungkan itu yang mana? emang sih tiap posisi beda-beda preffered movesnya jadi yang cocok yang mana..

misalnya yang sayap kanan rolling sama yang syap kiri, biar pmain tsb bisa lolos dari mrking ketat lawan..

maksud nya game nya bisa dijalankan/dimainkan di laptop tersebut tapi versi chipset pada laptop tersebut tidak didukung sama game tersebut... ;)

gw baru beli nih dvd game nya, tapi kok aneh yah. Kalo maen musti make cd nya. Kalo ga pake ga bisa. Ada yg tau knapa?? need help ni... ga ada crack ato sejenisnya jg, jadi setiap maen musti pake CD kalo ga pake ga bisa...

pas install sedikit bermasalah, padahal crack & patch dah dicopy juga, pertama2 musti pancing pake CD
trus masih bermasalah pas mo save gitu, disuruh masukin CD, tp pilihan reply gak bisa walaupun dah masuk CD nya, jadi di quit deh, tp file nya ke save. jadi bolak-balik gitu

Oh ya, patch FM yang 10.1.0 atau apalah namanya apa dah keluar ya? biasanya kan setelah release akan keluar patch ke-1 sebelum patch ke-2 untuk update jeda transfer januari depan.

dia biasanya cuma dekem di kotak penalti lwn buat cari posisi n cari bola muntahan buat dsamber
crl : owen:devil3:, inzaghi, RVN

complete forward : penyerang serba bisa, dia bisa dribel, heading, dan jg nyetak gol tentunya
crl : torres, dsb

advanced : dia striker yg suka dribel biasanya sih

Oh ya, mo tanya... tentang home ground player. kan di FM syaratnya maen minimal 3 tahun di tim sebelum umur 21 tahun. 3 tahun itu apa termasuk saat dipinjamkan atau hanya 3 tahun bener2 di tim kita?

Trus maen MU beli Silva, ternyata berguna banget meski rentan cedera. minjamin Welbeck plus minjem striker favoritku RVN,he...

Iya Berba mantep banget di FM ini. Aku pas pre-season juga diisukan mo beli Rossi lagi. tapi berhubung stok penyerang banyak jadi nggak jadi. Emang Rossi dibeli berapa sama Fergie?

ane dah pke Patch yang 10.1.1..tetp bisa mainin yang game lama....cuman masih bingung kok skin Unitednnya nggk bisa keload...padahal udah naruh di folder yg benar..padahal waktu pke yang instalan pertama bisa kok...:(

kalo EPL numbernya sih sudah bisa..trus ada baiknya juga nih yang patch baru..yang biasanya mo save tapi minta disk (tapi kesimpan)..ini sudah nggk ada di Patch yg baru,..jadi gamenya langsng ke save..tanpa ada warning lagi...

jadi manajer ATHLETIC BILBAO, gw FM kmrn 5 musim cm nyasar di zona champion,, beraaat2, jangankan ngegusur madrid-barca, mo ngimbangin sevilla, valencia aja susah sekaliii...

apalagi dgn idealisme hanya pemain berkebangsaan BASQUE saja yang boleh membela panji klub, so challenging!!

Yang jadi masalah Basque blm mjd suatu negara resmi, blm ada benderanya.
Jadi ga bs nyari dgn mudah pak ketum, ada jg musti liat satu" pemain yg main di Spanyol.
Tapi klo mau sedikit lbh mudah, bajak aja pemain" di Real Sociedad, Zaragoza, Salamanca, & Alaves. Banyak berdarah Basque jg tuh. Klo Levante, Cadiz, & Celta ada beberapa yg Basque.

Klo total gaji malah turun sob dari musim lalu.emang sih aku belanja pemaen mahal 2 musim,tapi klo diitung bersih antara yang dijual dan dibeli ya nggak beda jauh.
Sebenernya yang aku heran itu tiap bulannya MU rugi mulu.pemasukan +/- 11jt tapi pengeluaran sampe 19jt.dari 19jt it 6,5jtan gaji,5,5jtan bayar utang trus ada pos gaji nonstaf nyari 4jtan.jadi tiap bulan rugi 8jt.heran aku..

di musim kedua ini si WR10 malah cedera 4 bulan...(pdhl uda cetak 8 gol di game2 awal muim kedua)
untung wellbeck menggila dengan cetak gol bnyk...
dan untung keputusan gw tuker valencia dan berbatov dengan kaka tepat..

Klo di tempatku sih Madrid biasa2 aja. Aku klo lawan tim berat pake formasi 4-2DM-2 Winger-2. dijamin pertahanan lebih kuat. lawan madrid CR emang susah ditahan, tapi bek-bek madrid kacangan semua.

Aku tiap musim beli 1 peamen top. musim 1 beli D. Silva dan Rossi, musim 2 beli Dzeko, dan musim 3 beli sakho. semuanya mantep terutama Dzeko. malah pemaen dengan reputasi dunia paling terkenal di MU si Dzeko bukannya rooney. bener2 goalgetter jempolan.

Kiper masih Foster dan herannya kok beda 180 derajat sama kenyataannya. nomor 3 sedunia setelah cech dan cassillas.

Aku maen baru sampe musim 2012-2013... makin lama pemaen asli inggris makin jelek ya. kualitas pemaen2 muda umur <16 tahunnya buruk2. yang bagus dari spanyol dan jerman. emang sesuai sama kenyataan klo produksi pemaen muda inggris rada seret. padahal pengen megang timnas inggris tapi susah klo cuman ngandalin peamen2 yang sih ada sekarang (di kenyataan) coz dah tua semua.

liga terfavorit gak usah ditanya lagi jelas liga inggris, persaingan ketat sampe akhir musim (united masih kejar2an ama chelsea pas akhir musim walaupun akhirnya chelsea juara dengan hanya slisih 1 poin ama united) , dibanding liga itali yg juara nya udah bisa ditebak intermilan yg slisih poin jauh ama milan hehe
