FIFA 16 forces Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville to renew their rivalry as Sky Sports pundits clash over team selections

* Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville picked a FUT Draft team to play FIFA 16
* The colleagues struggled to agree as they assembled their ultimate team
* FIFA 16 is released in the UK on September 24

Having been at loggerheads on the pitch in the past, Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were in battle once again, this time over team selection on FIFA 16.

The latest edition of the nation’s favourite football computer game from EA Sports has an all-new Draft mode in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), which Neville and Carragher tested out in a comical video.

The FUT tests fans of their team building skills in order to achieve rewards on the game. Picking the 23-man squad is a challenge as fans need to choose between picking the best players and creating a team with the right chemistry before they enter their games.

Sportsmail’s Carragher and colleague Neville regularly clash on TV as pundits and playing FIFA 16 produced the same squabbles.

In the video Neville takes charge by snatching the controller.

All starts well as they agree on the formation, ‘Choose 4-3-3 as best team in the world Barca play with,’ said Carragher.

The duo also agreed that Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi is the leading candidate to be their team’s captain.

However once Thibaut Courtois was put in goal, the problems began to surface.

‘I’ll let you have an input at left-back as you played there a couple times badly,’ quipped Neville, before ignoring Carragher’s request for Marcelo at left back, instead opting for Bayern Munich’s David Alaba.

The former Manchester United right back dismissed all of Carragher’s suggestions:

‘How can you pick Kagawa over De Bruyne? What’s the point?’ exclaimed Carragher.

The true clash came when former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard came up as an option.

‘Take emotion out of it,’ joked Neville. A stubborn Carragher insisted ‘I have, he’s the best player ever from our club and it’s bias from Manchester United.’

‘Calm down I can’t understand a word you are saying,’ added Neville but his Sky Sports colleague was refusing to back down and took to controller to select his former Anfield team-mate. ‘Give it here, Steven Gerrard is playing.’

The pair were eager to start playing and rattled through the remaining players, agreeing to select Tottenham star Harry Kane as the lead striker.

Finally onto the actual FIFA 16 match and Carragher was quick to criticise any lapse in concentration from Neville ‘You’ve lost the ball again! What are you doing?’

Fortunately their team prevailed and Neville recreated his famous ‘unbelievable’ commentary which accompanied Fernando Torres’s goal in the 2012 Champions League win for Chelsea over Barcelona.

Peace was restored but not for long as Sportsmail's columnist Carragher will wear a Manchester United shirt live on the opening show of Sky Sports' Monday Night Football next week after losing a bet with Neville.

Neville bet Carragher that Paulinho would not score 15 goals in a season for Tottenham Hotspur, and the Liverpool great will stay true to his word by donning the United shirt live on TV.

Fear not though Liverpool fans, as Carragher's act of 'betrayal' is all in the aid of charity for Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust.

The shirt, which will have 'G. Neville' and No 2 emblazoned on the back, will be auctioned off for charity afterwards.

The highly-anticipated FIFA 16 trailer has been released and it features familiar faces including Lionel Messi, Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling.

Ahead of the new Premier League season, which kicks off on Saturday, EA Sports increased the excitement levels with their official teaser.

The trailer, commentated by Sky's Martin Tyler, begins with quick-fire shots of stadiums including the Allianz Arena and Fratton Park, the home of League Two Portsmouth.

Newly-appointed Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson challenges his former team-mate Raheem Sterling

It's not long before fans are treated to glimpses of the game, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Jordan Henderson - who stars on the front cover - and his former team-mate Raheem Sterling all making appearances.

In a star-studded clip, Gerrard and fellow MLS new boy Andrea Pirlo also feature in the clip which already has more than one million views.

FIFA 16 will arrive in stores around the country on September 25 and it will be the first version to feature women's football, including the England women's international team.

Gamers will be able to play using Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and USA in addition to Mark Sampson's Lionesses.

And to ramp up the excitement, the USA women's team featured in the clip alongside stars of the men's game.

The advert ends with a familiar sight of Barcelona star Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating their individual goals.

Pertarungan sengit kembali terjadi antara dua mega bintang Lionel Messi dan Cristiano Ronaldo untuk memperebutkan posisi sebagai pemain dengan rating terbaik di FiFA 16. Kali ini, Messi unggul tipis dari Ronaldo.

Messi menjadi pemain dengan rating paling tinggi di FIFA 16 dengan nilai total 94. Unggul tipis dari Ronaldo di posisi kedua dengan nilai 93. Sedangkan posisi ketiga ditempati striker Barcelona Luis Suarez dengan nilai 90.

Kemudian berada di posisi 5 besar berturut turut adalah kiper Bayern Munich Manuel Neuer dengan nilai 90. Diikuti oleh rekan setimnya, gelandang lincah asal Belanda Arjen Robben dengan nilai yang sama, 90.

EA menilai pemain berdasarkan performa mereka di lapangan hijau pada 365 hari terakhir. Yang cukup mengejutkan dalam ranking pemain terbaik FIFA 16 ini adalah Gareth Bale, pemain termahal dunia, hanya ditempatkan di posisi ke 23.

Bale yang dibeli Real Madrid dari Tottenham Hotspur ini hanya mendapatkan nilai 87. Demikian seperti dikutip detikINET dari FoxSport, Senin (7/9/2015).

EA Sports have released a list of their top 50 players as excitement builds ahead of the launch of FIFA 16 this month, but just two English players and 17 Premier League stars have made the cut.

There are a number of new features on this year's edition, including no-touch dribbling and an improved way to slide tackle, but for now the focus is on player ratings and who ranks where in the top 50.

Unsurprisingly, it is Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo who lead the way, with Luis Suarez breaking into the top three, up four from his FIFA 15 ranking.

Despite not being in the top 50 players, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson will be on the front of FIFA 16

Only two Premier League players make the top 10 in Eden Hazard (6th) and David Silva (10th), with just 17 English-based players in the whole of the top 50.

John Terry - at 44 - and Wayne Rooney - in at 36 - are England's only representatives, but that is still one better than last season when Rooney was the only one present.

In last year's version, the Premier League had 16 players in the top 50, marking 2016's number a slender improvement on last time out.

There are some big movers, and not all positive. Gareth Bale, despite his impressive performances for Wales this week, has struggled at times for Real Madrid, seeing his FIFA ranking slip from 14th to 23rd this year.

Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao were in the upper echelons of the ranking system last year in 11th and 12th respectively, but after a season of struggle both have completely dropped out of the top 50.

Manchester United fans may think they have a bargain buy in Bastian Schweinsteiger for £14million, but his age has counted against him in this year's FIFA, seeing the 30-year-old drop 30 places from eight to 38.

There are three changes to the world's top 10, as David Silva, Thiago Silva and Neymar all move up from their 2015 positions. Andres Iniesta, Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery are the three men to make way, as they enter the twilight zones of their playing career.

Most entrants in the FIFA 16 top 50 play for a top European club - Barcelona and Bayern Munich players, for example, make up five of the top 10. But one non-European entry is that of Carlos Tevez, currently plying his trade in Argentina for Boca Juniors.

The performances earning him the ranking of 27 did come at Juventus though, with the Argentina striker only moving to his boyhood club in June of this year.

Manchester City new-boy Kevin De Bruyne is one of the biggest risers in this year's edition, making his debut in the top 50.

He comes straight in at 28 following his big-money move to the blue half of Manchester, and at the age of 24 is only expected to rise as the years go by.

Walcott is joint fastest with a score of 96, along with German second tier outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf's Norway-born Ivory Coast international, Mathis Bolly.

However, Walcott's Arsenal team-mate Hector Bellerin has reason to feel aggrieved.

The Spanish right back revealed in late August that he had grabbed the title of fastest Gunner for the second time - after out-sprinting Walcott once again.

The 20-year-old defeated Walcott, who achieved a 40 metre sprint time of 4.78 seconds, by one hundredth of a second last summer.

Walcott had previously dethroned Thierry Henry, but Bellerin revealed in an interview with The Sun that he had yet again won the battle: 'Everyone keeps telling me different numbers.

'But I know I beat Theo by literally one hundredth of a second after he had beaten Thierry, so you can do the maths.

'It was very close last year but this year I beat Theo by more of a distance. He won't tell you that, though!'

Other players to command a spot in the upper echelons of the game's speed rankings include Real Madrid's former Tottenham Hotspur maestro Gareth Bale, Watford loanee from Serie A's Roma, Victor Ibarbo, Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and 22-year-old Livorno right back Maicon da Silva - not to be confused with Roma's ex-Manchester City full back, Maicon Sisenando.
