Premier League Minta Tenggat Transfer Diundur
Selasa, 4/8/2009 | 05:31 WIB

ROVERS SINK YOUNG LIVERPOOL SIDE
Posted 03/08/09 22:25

The Memorial Stadium bore witness to an exciting encounter as Byron Anthony struck the decisive goal in Bristol Rovers' 4-3 victory over a young Liverpool side.

Rickie Lambert and Jo Kuffour put the League One side 2-0 up before Adam Hammill pulled a goal back for the Reds.

Anthony restored the two-goal cushion and then grabbed the winner after Vitor Flora and Andras Simon had drawn Liverpool level.

Championship side Plymouth sent out an inexperienced team at Tiverton Town and came away with a 1-0 win thanks to Liam Head's first-half goal.

A Hartlepool United XI combining a mix of first-team players, youngsters and trialists secured a convincing 4-0 triumph at Garforth Town.

Joe Lamplough, Adam Boyd and Matty Tymon scored in the first half and Billy Greulich completed the scoring in the second period.

Martin Gritton was among the goals as Chesterfield recorded a 3-1 win at Sheffield, with Scott Boden and Lloyd Kerry also on target.

Dagenham & Redbridge continued their preparations for the new League Two season with a 2-2 draw at Enfield.

Football Association ban managers from commenting on referees before games
Football managers will be banned from making comments about a referee before a match under rule changes announced by the Football Association on Tuesday.

Any manager who makes derogatory remarks about a match official before a game will face disciplinary action. The FA will also toughen up on the harassment of match officials by players.

In relation to comments about referees, the FA said in a statement: "Clubs are being advised that any media comments by managers, players or any other club officials relating to appointed match officials prior to a fixture will no longer be allowed - such pre-match comments will be deemed improper and dealt with accordingly.

"Post-match comments in relation to match officials and incidents are still permitted provided they are not personal in their nature, imply bias or attack the integrity of the officials in charge of the match, or in any other respect bring the game into disrepute."

Last season, Everton manager David Moyes questioned Mike Riley's appointment as referee for the FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United, saying it had been suggested to him that the official was a United supporter.

After the game, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said Moyes' remarks may have influenced Riley in a crucial decision when Danny Welbeck appeared to have been fouled in the area by Phil Jagielka. No spot-kick was awarded, and Everton went on to win a penalty shoot-out.

Riley has since been appointed as the new Premier League referees' chief.

Under other rule changes, clubs can now be charged if three or more players surround the referee in a "confrontational manner". Previously the charge required officials to report "harassment or intimidation" by three or more players.

Managers and coaches who are reported for misconduct in the technical area will now be subject to a fast-track disciplinary system taking three or four weeks - much quicker than previously when such cases could drag on for months.

[09/10] Big 4 - EPL

:n :gubrax

Ashley Cole hopes Manchester City push Arsenal out of top four

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph...e_1436665c.jpg

Ashley Cole wants big-spending Manchester City to push Arsenal out of the top four.

Cole says City have bought enough quality to challenge for a Champions League place.

The former Gunners full-back – public enemy No.1 among Arsenal fans for his bitter defection to Chelsea – predicted his old club could miss out.

"I have friends at City and I hope they do really well – and that they finish above Arsenal," said Cole. "I think it’s going to be hard for City but they could do it. They may click straight away and it’s magic. I hope they do."

Menurut gw 1-3 ga jauh2 dr UNITED-Celsi-Pool, kalo 4 mungkin bakal ketat neh secara goners ditinggal seyi, City, villa, spurs, toffes berpeluang ke UCL......

Tapi gw tetep yakin Goners masi punya kualitas dibwh Wenger buat tetep d BIG4

#4 tinggal diperebutkan oleh Arsenal, Villa, Everton, TTH & City
apakah Arsenal yg sudah kehilangan Adebayor mampu bertahan? apakah City yg sudah belanja jor2an mampu menyodok dengan 3 stiker anyarnya? ato Villa & Everton bisa mendobrak dominasi Big 4? magis Harry dah keliatan walaupun setengah musim, kali ini kalo start dari nol apakah TTH bakal masuk zona atas?

Walopun ManCity sejarahnya dah lama banget gak juara bukan berarti mustahil tahun ini bisa juara. Tapi mudah2an jangan deh...hehehe

Bila citeh menemukan formasi yg pas dlm memasang 7 strikernya... Mungkin the big 4 musti was-was!
Gak sabar nunggu musim baru nih.
Btw yg nayangin tv mana yah?

bentdner,diaby, eboue, jourou, kagak konsisten,,,

tapi yang gantiin sapa?
mungkin everton kalo mereka sama kayak musim kemaren...
ato aston villa andai aja kaga abis bensin,,,
spurs kalo emang startnya bagus,,,
city, kalo defender mereka bisa sehebat attacking force-nya..
