Manchester United's pursuit of Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes took a major step forward on Wednesday.
The player's agent is expected to fly over from Portugal on Wednesday night after agreeing a contract worth £100,000 a week, according to reports.
Sporting are believed to want around £70million for their star midfielder.
