Salford sit just two divisions below League Two but are on the up after securing back-to-back promotions in their last two seasons.

The club are looking to introduce a new all-seater stand, that will run the length of the pitch with executive seating.

There will be terraced stands behind the goals in the east and west ends of the ground.

There are also plans for a Class of '92 suite, allowing the club's owners to view matches from a better view. This would be a bigger upgrade from their current grass mound viewpoint.

Just like at most grounds in English football, the club plan to segregate the home fans and travelling supporters.

Also, the main stand is set to remain, with a view to further renovation.

However, Salford don't just have plans to improve the stadium and increase their attendance at league matches. They are looking at building a 600-capacity supporters club.

Moments after the club tweeted their stadium proposals, Gary Neville couldn't hold back his excitement, tweeting: 'Come on Salford City!!'

Salford shared the news on Twitter that their planned proposals are going into planning imminently.
