Default Re: Renato Sanches

Manchester United on red alert as Renato Sanches admits he is ready to leave Bayern Munich this summer

* Bayern Munich spent £27.5million on Renato Sanches last summer
* But the midfielder could well leave the club after just one year in Germany
* Sanches has admitted that he is not satisfied at the Bundesliga champions

Renato Sanches has declared he is unhappy at Bayern Munich and wants to leave the German giants.

Sanches, who cost Bayern £27.5million when he made the move from Benfica last summer, only made six Bundesliga starts for the Bavarian club last season and admits he is itching for a move.

That news could go down well at Old Trafford, with Manchester United reportedly among the midfielder's admirers.

Renato Sanches has admitted he is not happy at Bayern Munich and could leave this summer

'Personally, I am not satisfied with my first year in Munich,' Sanches told Bild. 'Of course, I'd like to play more.

'That's why I would like to change and go to a club that can give me more minutes.'

AC Milan have been linked with the teenager, who said: 'AC Milan is an interesting option.

'If the opportunity arises and the clubs can agree, I would like to see them.

'I am now on the China tour with FC Bayern, but after that we will get together in Munich and hopefully find a solution.

'I'm young, I want and I have to play a lot. I think the chance to do so is greater in Milan than in Munich.'

Only last week, Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said the club could well sell Sanches this summer.

'He is a player who needs to play regularly,' he said. 'So if we feel he is not going to get enough game time, then we will loan him out, or maybe even sell him.

'Last season, particularly after the winter break, he didn't get enough appearances.

'That wasn't because of the coach, it was because of [Sanches] himself.'
