Brighton 0-1 Lazio: Ravel Morrison volley inflicts defeat on Seagulls in final game of pre-season
* Brighton lost to Lazio at the Amex in their final match of pre-season
* Ravel Morrison fired home a volley after Radu's cross was only half cleared
Brighton's pre-season campaign ended in defeat courtesy of a brilliant Ravel Morrison strike at the Amex on Sunday afternoon.
The former QPR, West Ham and Manchester United midfielder fired a first-time volley past David Stockdale after Stefan Radu's cross was only half cleared.
The defeat was the Seagulls fourth in six games ahead of their opening Championship match away to Derby County on Saturday afternoon.

Chris Hughton's pre-season preparations may have come to a disappointing end but he will no doubt have taken some positives away from the encounter.
The home side had the better of the opening stages, with Anthony Knockaert and Glenn Murray continuing to cause problems for the visitors.
Morrison's strike, on his return to British shores, came against the run of play but didn't halt the hosts' attacking intent as they switched to their away strip for the second half.
Knockaert came close from Gaeten Bong's cross whilst Beram Kayal also passed up a good opportunity as the Championship side searched for an equaliser.
A late penalty appeal for a handball was the closest Brighton came in the second half as their efforts went unrewarded in front of a spirited crowd of 10,000.
