Manchester United tell fit-again Marcus Rashford to BULK up to limit his chance of further injury down the line ahead of his return against Leicester on Saturday

* Marcus Rashford will be available for the first time this season against Leicester
* The England forward underwent shoulder surgery following the summer's Euros
* Due to limited mobility in his left shoulder, he has lost upper body muscle mass
* Rashford had previously been hindered by a double back fracture last year

Manchester United want Marcus Rashford to put on muscle to limit the chance of further injury now the forward is ready to return.

Rashford will be available for the first time this season against Leicester City on Saturday, following shoulder surgery in August.

The 23-year-old added 4kg of muscle to his lower body as he worked his way back to full fitness. But due to limited mobility in his left shoulder, Rashford has lost muscle mass in his upper body.

United believe that if he bulks up, he will have a better chance of dealing with the physical demands of the Premier League and staying injury-free in the future.

Rashford had previously been hindered by a double back fracture which took him five months to recover from last year.

He opted for surgery on his troublesome shoulder injury this summer, having played with pain for almost a year. He now looks to be in good condition, scoring twice in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Blackburn last week.

Rashford hasn’t played a competitive game since the Euros but will now add to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wealth of attacking options.
