Default Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Manchester United 'WILL NOT' try to sign former striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic' despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans to bolster attacking options in January

* Man United are not targeting a reunion with Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January
* The former Sweden international is a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy
* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign a striker but it won't be Ibrahimovic

Manchester Untied have ruled out a sensational return for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky Sports.

The 38-year-old is available on a free, having left LA Galaxy last month after two seasons in the MLS.

Ibrahimovic, who scored 29 goals for Manchester United during a two-year spell at Old Trafford before leaving in 2018, had been linked with a return.

There will be no Manchester United reunion for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky Sports. Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals for United during a two-year spell between 2016 and 2018

However, that does now not appear to be the case despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans to bolster his attacking force when the window opens in January.

The former Sweden international is believed to have attracted interest from several clubs around Europe, but it is not yet known if he has received any offers.

Ibrahimovic scored an astonishing 53 goals in 58 games during his time at LA Galaxy and recently insisted he believes he could still play at the highest level.

He said last month: 'I know I could still make the difference, both in Italy and in other countries.

'I'd do better than the players who are there playing now.'
