Wenger: Wasit Salah Ambil Keputusan

"Ketika Djourou mendapat kartu kuning pertama, lawan membuatnya agar mendapatkan kartu kuning kedua padahal Djourou tak melakukan apapun. Saya melihatnya, saat mereka menggunakan Kerim (Frei) untuk membuat Djourou mendapat kartu kuning kedua dan mereka berhasil."

"Saya tak ingin membuat cerita untuk media. Saya memberitahu anda dari game yang saya lihat, saya tidak peduli dengan yang lain."

"Saya hanya merasa Djourou selalu terancam untuk mendapat kartu kuning kedua. Kalian bisa melihat pertandingannya lagi," pungkas Wenger.

Default Arsenal Jump the Gun on Henry

Thierry Henry pictured in Arsenal shirt before sealing loan move

A slip-up from Arsenal’s web team saw a picture of Thierry Henry in the current home shirt posted online, even though the striker has yet to finalise his loan switch from New York Red Bulls.

Despite Arsene Wenger confirming that the Gunners all-time record goalscorer will return to the club for two months during the Major League Soccer off-season, Henry’s signing has still not formally been announced.

However, Arsenal web bods mistakenly posted a picture of Henry posing in the 2011/12 home shirt on a story in which Robin van Persie heaps praise on the Frenchman, before quickly removing it and replacing it with a snap of the 34-year-old in his training top.

Despite the gaffe, Henry remains on the verge of officially completing his comeback to the Emirates, and could be in line to face Leeds in the FA Cup on Monday 9.

The Frenchman’s last appearance for the club came in 2007 before he left to join Barcelona for £14million

Default Arsene Wenger Rages at Ref

Arsenal's Arsène Wenger rages at referee after Fulham defeat

• Manager angry with Lee Probert after Johan Djourou red
• 'Nothing went for us from the referee, nothing at all'

Arsène Wenger voiced dark conspiracy theories in a bitter tirade at the referee Lee Probert after watching his 10-man Arsenal side stunned at the very last by Fulham to miss the chance of moving back into the Premier League's top four. The manager could not contain his fury at Probert's decision to dismiss Johan Djourou in the 78th minute and he accused Fulham's players of attempting to get the stand-in right-back his second yellow card.

Wenger argued that the Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker had been fouled by Clint Dempsey in the build-up to Djourou's sending-off, which came after he leaned in on the match-winner Bobby Zamora – TV replays failed to support the view – and he even contested Djourou's first card, given in the 63rd minute, for a tackle through the back of Moussa Dembélé.

He went on to highlight his counterpart Martin Jol's decision to introduce the substitute Kerim Frei as evidence that Fulham were targeting Djourou and he also raged at the non-award of a first-half penalty when Philippe Senderos lunged at Gervinho. There had been contact, even if Gervinho's fall felt a little theatrical. Retreating into the mentality of the siege, Wenger argued that it was far from the first time his team had been denied a penalty.

"The referee influenced the game completely the wrong way in my opinion," Wenger said. "We cannot influence that. We had a good first half … in the second half we were more tired and in the last 10 minutes we lost the game because we were down to 10 men. The first yellow card was not a yellow card; the second yellow card was a foul for us. It was also 100% a penalty for us in the first half.

"When Djourou got the first yellow, every time they went down to get him the second yellow. He did nothing at all. I saw it coming because when Frei came on the game was all [about] looking for the second yellow card for Djourou. The referee was naive enough to give it. We played many games recently and we knew that if we dropped our level we would be in trouble. But we would not have been in trouble if we had stayed with 11 on the pitch."

At Craven Cottage Jol revelled in his first triumph over Wenger at the ninth attempt – the pair have plenty of previous from Jol's time at Tottenham Hotspur – and he did little to debunk his rival's fears about the 69th‑minute introduction of Frei. "Maybe he could accuse me of trying to do something but I don't think the players can do that," Jol said. "The only thing I did was put Frei on the flank and he is an exciting player. He went one-versus-one all the time and that was probably the problem for Djourou. He probably could have had a second booking before he got it, to be fair."

Wenger accepted that his team had the chances to kill the game and he lamented the "stupid" late goals that they conceded – Zamora's winner came in the second minute of added time. But he bubbled with frustration at perceived injustices and he did nothing to back away from his claim that Jol and Fulham had attempted to force Djourou's dismissal.

"We do not need to make stories for the newspapers," Wenger said. "I tell you about the game that I have seen. I don't care about the rest. I just felt that every time … Djourou was on the fringe to get a second yellow.

"There was too much at stake in the game … we needed absolutely everything to go for us and to be right. We are guilty because we still gave two goals away in a stupid way and we didn't take our chances but, as well, you must say that nothing went for us from the referee, nothing at all. We cannot change that. We have to live with it, unfortunately."

Wenger marched towards Probert at full-time before seeming to think better about a confrontation and diverting towards the dressing room. "You know what you get [in those situations]," he said, before he addressed the subject of the non-penalty awards. "We had a penalty in our last game [against QPR], a clear handball; we had a penalty at Man City; we had a penalty at Villa Park [none of which were given]. You should not ask me why. I don't know."

Wenger berang, tp Jol bilang Djourou malah layak dikartu merah lebih awal. dilapangan lain, Lampard yg harusnya layak dpt kartu merah malah lolos dan jadi pencetak gol kemenangan

Default Wenger Fails at Finding Pocket

Arsene Wenger Struggles To Find His Coat Pocket As Gunners Struggle To Find The Back Of The Net

Seeing your team squander a whole load of chances in the first half and then capitulate in the second would be enough to make anyone a teeny bit frustrated at the very least. However, the failure of his team, and Theo Walcott in particular, to make the most of their first half dominance looks to have sent Arsene Wenger a bit mad.

Watch, over and over, as he struggles to put his hand in his coat pocket before turning around to hide his embarrassment. Arsenal fans will no doubt be hoping he has a few quid tucked away in there, ready to splash out on a new player or two.

Default Arsenal Hit Snag in Henry Loan

Thierry Henry's loan to Arsenal hits a snag over return date to Red Bulls

Arsenal have been thwarted in their attempts to hand Thierry Henry a run out for their reserves, after complications over the paperwork with New York Red Bulls meant he couldn't be registered in time.

Henry has already agreed personal terms on his two-month return to the Gunners on loan during the MLS off-season, but jostling over exactly when the 34-year-old returns to the Red Bulls and paperwork detailing his insurance have held the deal up significantly.

Manager Arsene Wenger had hoped Henry would be match fit in time to make his second debut against Leeds United in the FA Cup on Monday, but sensing he's behind schedule, a run out for Arsenal's second-string against Sunderland this afternoon was seen as ideal in ramping up his fitness levels.

However, with the paperwork still waiting to be confirmed and signed off by the Red Bulls, Henry wasn't able to be registered in time, and will now face a race against time to make the clash with Leeds.

A sticking point to the lengthy negotiations has been when Henry returns to America, with the Red Bulls wanting him back in time for their Arizona training camp on February 20th, while Arsenal are hopeful he will be allowed to stay until the North London derby with Tottenham on the 26th.

The final processes of the deal are expected to be confirmed in the next 48 hours.

Default Re: Arsenal - News and Rumors

Arsenal 1 - 0 Leeds

Thierry Henry made the perfect return to Arsenal when he emerged as a substitute to score a late winner in the FA Cup third-round tie against Leeds United.

Henry, back in Arsenal colours for the first time since he left for Barcelona in 2007, scored his 227th goal for the club with 12 minutes remaining amid emotional scenes at the Emirates.

The 34-year-old - back at the club where he was recently honoured with a statue on a two-month loan from New York Red Bulls - had only been on 10 minutes when the magical moment arrived.

Henry took a pass from Alex Song in his stride in the area before steering a composed, angled, right-footed finished tantalisingly out of the reach of Leeds United keeper Andy Lonergan.

It finally broke the stubborn resistance of Leeds and was the signal for an outpouring of emotion as Henry pumped his chest in celebration after racing to hug his mentor Arsene Wenger on the touchline.

Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny raced the length of the field to join the celebrations while Henry later indulged in a spot of impromptu cheerleading as he urged the supporters who worship him to even greater backing for Arsenal in the closing stages.

It was the perfectly scripted finale to a contest that needed Henry's Midas touch against a Leeds side who battled in a manner that did manager Simon Grayson and their magnificent travelling support great credit.

At the final whistle, with the first task of his temporary return to the club completed, Henry raised his arms to the heavens before falling into the arms of his Arsenal colleagues and taking the acclaim of an elated crowd.

Henry's presence, even on the bench, enlivened the stadium when he came out to warm up and later when his name was announced to rapturous applause.

And the 45 minutes that followed only increased the appetite and anticipation for his return as Arsenal dominated but failed to breach a resilient and well-organised Leeds defence.

With leading scorer and captain Robin van Persie rested, attacking duties fell to Andrey Arshavin and Marouane Chamakh, the pair combining in the opening moments only for the Russian to fire wildly over the top.

Sebastien Squillaci then headed narrowly wide and Aaron Ramsey was unable to navigate a way around Lonergan after he was played into the area by Arshavin.

Leeds United's big chance, in a half they spent mainly on the retreat, came when Luciano Becchio found space in the box but shot wastefully off target.

Arsenal's defensive resources have thinned out in the face of mounting injuries - and they were depleted further before the interval when Francis Coquelin pulled up with a hamstring problem and was replaced by Nico Yennaris.

The momentum remained with Arsenal after the break as Lonergan saved well low to his left from Mikel Arteta after the Spaniard was set up by Chamakh, and Arshavin fired across the face of goal after picking up Zac Thompson's misplaced pass.

Henry's increasingly energetic sprinting along the touchline drew a loud reaction from Arsenal's fans and he was finally introduced with 22 minutes left, replacing Chamakh. Theo Walcott also came on for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Henry was given a hero's welcome as he set about the business of attempting to break down a Leeds side proving as stubborn as they had been here at the same stage of the FA Cup last season.

And the moment Arsenal had been waiting for came with 12 minutes left as Henry gathered Song's pass in his stride before sparking scenes of ecstasy on and off the pitch with a perfect finish to set up a fourth-round tie at home against Aston Villa.

Leeds refused to be distracted by the euphoria and almost snatched a replay in the closing stages as Szczesny saved well from substitute Mikael Forssell.

This, however, was Henry's night and Henry's story. Now Arsenal fans will hope he can write fresh chapters before returning to the United States.
