Zanetti ke United ? Kita nantikan saja, hehehe...

Mourinho Beri Bocoran soal Sosok Asisten Manajer Baru di MU
Randy Prasatya - detikSport

Jose Mourinho brings in former Inter Milan and Sampdoria fitness coach Stefano Rapetti to his new-look Manchester United backroom team

* Jose Mourinho has decided to restructure his Manchester United backroom staff
* Rui Faria has left and Mourinho will not have a specific assistant manager
* Stefano Rapetti has joined the club after a spell as fitness coach at Sampdoria
* United U18s coach Kieran McKenna and Michael Carrick also joining first team

Stefano Rapetti has arrived at Manchester United to become part of Jose Mourinho's new-look backroom staff.

Sportsmail reported at the weekend how the 41-year-old Italian, who worked under Mourinho as fitness and rehabilitation coach at Inter Milan, was to leave Sampdoria after being invited to link up with his old boss once again.

Rapetti has been brought in to help offset the departure of Rui Faria who is spending more time with his young family before embarking on his own career as a manager.

Stefano Rapetti is set to join up with former colleague Jose Mourinho at Manchester United. Jose Mourinho is looking to reschedule his backroom staff this summer after Rui Faria's exit

Mourinho has already promoted United U18s coach Kieran McKenna to the first-team set-up with new addition Michael Carrick.

Rapetti began his coaching career with the Under 19s at Inter, before moving up to the first team to work with Mourinho.

From there, he moved to Empoli as a fitness coach, before joining Sampdoria in a similar role at the start of the 2016-17 season.

Mourinho was asked by the Portuguese press last week about whether he could reveal who his next assistant will be.

In response, Mourinho said: 'No. It's a person coming who worked with me before but I can't say the name because he's still linked to another club.

'Michael Carrick becomes a coach on the pitch but I'm looking for two new people on the team. Good coaches there are many, but I like to make my assistants.

'I do not like trained coaches, I like to shape them in my way of thinking and they grow with me and I also grow with them.'

Jose Mourinho and his backroom team: The new-look supporting cast at Man United following Rui Faria's exit

* Man United boss Jose Mourinho has a new-look backroom team for next season
* Assistant Rui Faria ended 17-year partnership with Mourinho at end of 2017-18
* Ex-Inter Milan and Sampdoria fitness coach Stefano Rapetti has been brought in
* Michael Carrick has retired from playing and will take up a coaching role at club

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has a new-look backroom team ahead of next season.

Assistant Rui Faria ended his 17-year partnership with the Portuguese boss at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

The 42-year-old, who was linked with the manager's post at Arsenal, wanted to spend more time with his family before testing himself as a head coach and left with Mourinho's blessing.

During the season United midfielder Michael Carrick also revealed that he would retire and take up a coaching role at the club.

Mourinho revealed he would not replace Faria and have a No 2 next season, he said: 'I'm going to organise my coaching staff next season in a way where the assistant-manager doesn't exist.

'I'm going to have coaches, assistant coaches, fitness coaches and a structure where they have specialists in different areas connected to performance. And my analysts. I'm not going to have an assistant manager in the sense of the word.'

As a result, Mourinho has reshuffled the team that supports him as he looks to close the gap on rivals Manchester City.

Here, Sportsmail looks at Mourinho's new-look supporting cast.

Jose Mourinho - Manager

The 55-year-old joined United back in May 2016 on a four-year contract with the option to cut ties after three years.

As Red Devils boss he has won the League Cup and the Europa League but Manchester City's stunning success this year meant it was the first time Mourinho had finished his second season at a club without winning a domestic league title.

After finishing second in the league, United were also beaten by Chelsea in the FA Cup to conclude an underwhelming 2017-18 campaign.

Stefano Rapetti - fitness coach

Former Inter Milan and Sampdoria fitness coach Stefano Rapetti was brought in by Mourinho just last week.

Sportsmail reported before his arrival how the 41-year-old Italian, who worked under Mourinho as fitness and rehabilitation coach at Inter Milan, was to leave Sampdoria after being invited to link up with his old boss once again.

Rapetti has been brought in to help offset the departure of Faria.

He began his coaching career with the Under 19s at Inter, before moving up to the first team to work with Mourinho.

From there, he moved to Empoli as a fitness coach, before joining Sampdoria in a similar role at the start of the 2016-17 season.

Former Inter Milan and Sampdoria fitness coach Stefano Rapetti has been brought in to United

Michael Carrick - coach

After calling time on his playing career, the 36-year-old has remained at United to take up a coaching role under Mourinho.

At the club's end of season awards Mourinho said United will be losing a 'big player' but keeping a 'big man' as he paid tribute to Michael Carrick.

In a touching speech, Mourinho presented Carrick with his new coaching kit, which included a whistle to order his former team-mates around and a packet of pain killers for when they don't listen.

Carrick completed 12 campaigns at United and won five Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy.

After calling time on his playing career, the 36-year-old has remained at United as a coach

Kieran McKenna - coach

Mourinho has promoted United Under 18s coach Kieran McKenna to the first-team set-up.

The Northern Irishman moved to the club in 2016 and he led the U18s side to the Premier League Northern trophy in the season just finished.

Prior to his two seasons within the youth ranks at Old Trafford, McKenna managed Tottenham's U18s side.

Silvino Louro - first-team coach

Louro, who started at United with Mourinho, hit the headlines at West Ham during the 2015-16 season when he was sent to the stands for raging at referee Jon Moss but the Portuguese tended to stay under the radar in two spells at Chelsea.

Between 2004 and 2007 he was the goalkeeper coach at Stamford Bridge but in his second spell he performed a more general role as assistant first-team coach.

Like Faria, Louro has a tendency to get into the odd touchline spat. He was alleged to have knocked over Barcelona club delegate Agustin Herrerin in an El Clasico meeting while with Real Madrid and was caught on camera aiming derogatory gestures at the opposition bench.

He plays a key role pre-match during training but is a more reserved figure during matches.

Carlos Lalin - fitness coach

Lalin followed Mourinho as assistant first-team fitness coach at Real Madrid to Chelsea and also United and worked closely with Faria.

The United manager gave Lalin a more prominent role as part of a shake-up of the medical department last summer.

Lalin was believed to be exerting greater influence behind the scenes, with Mourinho keen for one of his trusted lieutenants to try and speed up the players’ recovery process.

Lalin followed Mourinho as assistant fitness coach at Real Madrid to Chelsea and then United

Emilio Alvarez Blanco - goalkeeping coach

Mourinho moved to appoint one of David de Gea's most trusted confidants as the club's new goalkeeping coach in July 2016.

Emilio Alvarez Blanco, 44, was the coach who oversaw De Gea's breakthrough at Atletico Madrid.

When Quique Sanchez Flores, Atletico Madrid coach at the time, and his keeping coach Alvarez took over, De Gea, then 18, was in line to be sent out on loan.

But Flores asked Alvarez's opinion on the club's three goalkeepers — Sergio Asenjo, Roberto and rookie De Gea.

Alvarez said: 'El Nino (the boy) is the best one.' Flores replied: 'Are you serious? He is weak physically, he looks like a little boy.'

They developed a training regime and by the end of the season, De Gea was the first-choice goalkeeper of a Europa League-winning side.

Alvarez is a close friend of Jorge Mendes, Jose Mourinho's agent. It is likely that Mendes and De Gea recommended the coach.

Ricardo Formosinho - scout

Mourinho's compatriot Ricardo Formosinho was at Porto when Mourinho led them to Champions League glory in 2004.

He has managed 19 teams himself from 1990 to 2015.

Formosinho was also a scout for Real Madrid when Mourinho was manager at the Bernabeu.

Giovanni Cerra - tactical analyst

Cerra was part of Mourinho's backroom team at Stamford Bridge.

At United he took a tongue-lashing from Mourinho ahead of their game against Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk in September 2016, when he handed Paul Pogba incorrect instructions.

The 53-year-old pointed his finger angrily at Cerra and yelled at the former Chelsea coach, who produces visual reports and info-graphics in his role at United.

MOURINHO EXPLAINS NEW COACHING SET-UP

Manchester United’s pre-season trip to the United States is not just a period of vital importance for the players, but also for the first team’s new-look coaching team, according to manager Jose Mourinho.

The departure of the Portuguese’s long-term assistant Rui Faria at the end of last season prompted changes, which means that United hero Michael Carrick, former Under-18s coach Kieran McKenna and new arrival Stefano Rapetti will be among those supporting the boss during 2018/19.

Speaking exclusively to MUTV before the team’s third day of training at the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, Mourinho explained he was delighted to be working more closely with some familiar faces.

“It’s good for them [the coaches],” said Jose, of the pre-season period. “I knew them all, for different reasons, in different circumstances. Rapetti was my assistant at Inter Milan for two seasons [2009-2011], so we were together and know each other well. But then for the last seven or eight years, when I went to Madrid, Chelsea and United, he went to Empoli and Sampdoria.

“Michael, of course, I know very well and he knows me very well, but he was a player and now it’s the first steps for him, in this period, to grow up and feel more comfortable in a new role.

“And Kieran, I know him from the club and I know he’s got potential, which is why I decided to bring him up. For him, it’s also good that half of the tour squad are his boys [from last season’s Under-18 team], for his confidence, and when he starts to work with the whole squad, he’s more adapted.“

United’s first match takes place at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Thursday night (03:00 BST on Friday morning), against Mexican outfit Club America. The Reds then go on to face San Jose Earthquakes, AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

“They [Club America] are at the end of their pre-season, San Jose are in the middle of their season, and AC Milan come with all their players because Italy didn’t go to the World Cup,“ added Mourinho. ”Then Liverpool, I think everybody is here apart from the English ones, [Jordan] Henderson and [Trent Alexander-] Arnold, maybe not them, but everybody else is.

“With Real Madrid, Spain were knocked out at a very early stage, so everybody is here too. [Gareth] Bale and [Karim] Benzema didn’t go to the World Cup, so we are going to face teams with obviously different potential than us. I’m not worried about that – I’m not worried if we lose, even if we lose to some not beautiful numbers.”

For the boss, focus remains on ensuring his players reach peak condition, his assistants settle well into their new roles, and that the young players undergoing their first tour develop alongside their more experienced colleagues.

“For [the young players], it’s fantastic,” he admitted. “I always bring a few, even when the squad is complete, like I did with Scott McTominay and Demi Mitchell [last year]. You get to know them better, you see how far they can go and it’s a good way for them to grow up and get closer to the first team. This pre-season is different because they are half of the squad and for them it’s an amazing experience.”

Q&A: STEFANO RAPETTI DISCUSSES HIS NEW ROLE AT UNITED

Jose Mourinho has added some new faces to his coaching staff this summer and one of those is Stefano Rapetti, the team's new head of fitness.

Rapetti spent time working with Mourinho at Internazionale and the Italian is delighted to be reunited with his former manager at United.

The new coach spoke to MUTV at training on Saturday and had this say to say about his new role...

Can you tell us about your new role at the club?
“I am a fitness coach and now the head of fitness coaching for Manchester United. I am here because I worked with the manager, Jose Mourinho, at Inter Milan.”

You must have fond memories of that time in Italy with Jose?
“It was a very successful time and an amazing experience at Inter. We won all of the competitions, all of the tournaments, and I am very happy to be with him again at Manchester United.”

How are you getting along with your fellow coaches here at United?
“The new colleagues are fantastic. When I arrived they were very friendly with me right away and I think now we are already working well together.”

This is the first time working outside of Italy – you must be excited?
“Yes it is a fantastic experience for me. It is the first time I have worked out of Italy and I am sure that it will be a good experience.”

Jose Mourinho has already suggested this summer's pre-season tour of the US will benefit his new members of staff, as well as the players on the pitch.

“It’s good for them,” said the manager earlier this week. “I knew them all, for different reasons, in different circumstances. Rapetti was my assistant at Inter Milan for two seasons [2009-2011], so we were together and know each other well. But then for the last seven or eight years, when I went to Madrid, Chelsea and United, he went to Empoli and Sampdoria.”

Default Re: Mourinho's Coaching Team

Meet Jose Mourinho's baby-faced lieutenant... former Tottenham youth player Kieran McKenna, just 32, is now the driving force in Manchester United's new era (and he masterminds attacking football)

* Kieran McKenna has been appointed as Jose Mourinho's new first-team coach
* The former Red Devils youth coach has been promoted to the senior side
* Mourinho parted ways with his long-time assistant Rui Faria earlier this summer
* He was a midfielder during his career and joined Tottenham on a scholarship
* A persistent hip injury forced his retirement in 2009 but he turned to coaching
* McKenna oversaw a vibrant, high-scoring style of play that attracted Mourinho

When Romelu Lukaku powered in his second goal against Burnley, Jose Mourinho sprang to his feet and pumped his fists. To his right, Michael Carrick did likewise.

To the Manchester United manager’s left, celebrating just as enthusiastically, was a less familiar face. New to the United dugout this season is Kieran McKenna, promoted to the position of first-team coach after Rui Faria unexpectedly left Old Trafford in May.

McKenna is only 32 but the baby-faced coach has risen quickly into a prominent role at the club after joining from Tottenham in 2016. He managed United’s Under 18s last season, overseeing a vibrant brand of high-scoring football, and was picked by Mourinho to fill the gap left by Faria, his trusted aide since 2001.

Kieran McKenna, circled, has been appointed as Jose Mourinho's new first-team coach. The former Red Devils youth-team coach has been promoted to the senior side this summer

Mourinho may tread cautiously over young players but he has a history of looking within when jobs come up on his staff. Brendan Rodgers, Andre Villas-Boas, and Aitor Karanka have moved into management after working under him.

This summer, Mourinho could have recruited any number of more established coaches from across the country or abroad but he chose a Northern Irishman already in the building.

Age-group results and performances were a major factor. McKenna’s side scored four goals or more in eight matches during 2017-18 on the way to winning the Under-18 Premier League title.

Players speak of an innovative coach who researches opponents meticulously but allows for spontaneity in sessions. ‘He changed everything,’ winger Indy Boonen told the Manchester Evening News. ‘The way we trained was how the opponent played on the Saturday. If you played against West Brom, you trained how they are and focused on their weaknesses.’

Such an approach clearly appealed to Mourinho, who now trusts McKenna to put on sessions for stars on big salaries. Making the jump from instructing young players to those long established is tricky but McKenna is described as a popular presence at Carrington and a video from the day his Under 18s won the title by beating Manchester City shows the warmth he can create. As he speaks into the camera the group gradually assemble behind him and launch an attack with their water bottles.

2014-2016 - Coached Tottenham Under-18s

2016-2018 - Coached Manchester United Under-18s

2018 - Appointed Manchester United first-team coach

McKenna was a midfielder during his career and joined Tottenham on a scholarship in 2002. A persistent hip injury forced his retirement in 2009 but he then did his coaching badges

He managed United’s Under 18s last term, overseeing a vibrant brand of high-scoring football

Ismail Azzaoui, who played under McKenna at Spurs but is now at Wolfsburg, said the coach becomes close with his players. ‘He knew when I was not feeling well, always coming to me and asking, “What was the problem? How can I help?”’ Azzaoui told the MEN.

That understanding inevitably comes from McKenna’s own days as a player. Born and raised in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, McKenna was a midfielder and captained Fermanagh's Milk Cup junior side before joining Spurs on a scholarship in 2002.

He turned professional a year later and was capped for Northern Ireland up to Under-21 level, but a persistent hip injury forced his retirement in 2009. Instead of dropping out of the game he undertook his coaching badges and progressed through the ranks at White Hart Lane.

‘If you knew him then, you know why he is now a very talented coach,’ former Spurs manager Martin Jol told the MEN. ‘He was a little bit quiet but every time he spoke about football, he spoke sensibly. He was serious, conscientiousness, loved football, was passionate, quite aggressive and wanted to win.’

In 2014, McKenna had the opportunity to join Liverpool when Alex Inglethorpe left Spurs to become the Anfield club's academy director. McKenna was even said to have met Rodgers. But after deliberations he declined a move.

When United came calling however it was a different story. This was the club he had supported as a boy. He had visited Old Trafford in 1994 to watch Steve Bruce and Bryan Robson lift the title. Roy Keane was his favourite player.

McKenna said: ‘To go to Manchester United there is no bigger move you can make. It’s a dream come true really.’

His quick move up came as a surprise but reward for talent and application. We will undoubtedly be seeing more of him.

De Gea Teken Kontrak Baru, Pelatih Kiper MU Malah Cabut
Mohammad Resha Pratama - detikSport

Manchester - David de Gea takkan lagi ditangani oleh pelatih kesayangannya, Emilio Alvarez. Alvarez memutuskan pergi tak lama setelah De Gea teken kontrak baru.

Menurut laporan media-media Inggris, metode kepelatihan Alvarez pun dipertanyakan.

David de Gea's coach Emilio Alvarez leaves Man United after Spanish keeper's dip in form last season prompted questions about his methods

* Alvarez informed United staff he was leaving last week and said his farewells
* Spaniard had worked closely with David de Gea since arriving in 2016
* De Gea credited Alvarez with helping him become one of world's best keepers
* But questions were asked of his methods after De Gea's form slumped
* Richard Hartis was also brought back to the club as a keeper coach this year

David de Gea's coach Emilio Alvarez has left Manchester United.

The 47-year-old Alvarez was brought to United in 2016 to work closely with De Gea, having previously mentored the goalkeeper while at Atletico Madrid.

Indeed, De Gea credited Alvarez with helping him to become one of the world's top goalkeepers and his employment by United was seen as influential in keeping their then much coveted star happy at Old Trafford amid interest from Real Madrid.

However, De Gea's dip in form last year prompted questions about Alvarez and his methods within Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's coaching set-up. It is understood his relationship with United's other keepers had also become strained.

David de Gea's goalkeeping coach Emilio Alvarez has left Manchester United. Alvarez, had been at United since 2016 having worked with De Gea previous at Atletico. Questions had been asked about Alvarez's methods when De Gea's form slumped last season

Alvarez and De Gea are also understood to have grown less close in recent weeks with their working relationship described as 'more perfunctory'.

The Spaniard informed staff that he was leaving last week and said farewells on Friday.

De Gea agreed a new £375,000 a week contract with United earlier this month and may now work with Hartis more intensely or consider requesting another personal coach to help sharpen his skills.

A Manchester United statement read: 'Manchester United confirms that Emilio Alvarez is leaving the club.

'Emilio joined as Goalkeeper coach in 2016 and has been instrumental in developing and coaching the first team goalkeepers during his time in Manchester.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said 'I would like to thank Emilio for all his help and hard work since my return to the club. We all wish him well for the future.'

Emilio Alvarez said: 'I will always be proud of belonging to this club. Wishing you every success in your endeavours.'

Solskjaer, meanwhile, has added coach Martyn Pert to his backroom staff.

Pert, formerly at Watford, has been working abroad and is primarily a fitness coach.
