Kekalahan Paling Memalukan Arsenal Sejak 1959

Koscielny Senang Giroud Kembali Lapar Gol

Wenger Ogah Komentari Kekalahan Chelsea Dari Liverpool

Merson: Jika Seperti Mourinho, Wenger Pasti Sudah Dibantai

Re: Arsenal - News and Rumors
Arsenal are fighting for their Champions League lives but early exit would only continue steady fall from European power to Europa League contenders
* Arsenal are on the brink of Champions League group-stage exit * They must beat Dinamo Zagreb and hope Olympiacos lose in Munich * A premature exit would continue the Gunners' steady slump in Europe * Their Premier League form has also been stagnant for years * Arsene Wenger has admitted he would take Europa League seriously Arsene Wenger’s admission that he will take the Europa League seriously, should Arsenal find themselves dumped in that competition this season, will no doubt raise a few sniggers from their regular rivals among the Barclays Premier League’s top four. But it is a statement that Gunners supporters may have to get used to hearing if their team’s trajectory in the Champions League continues. Arsenal are on the verge of failing to qualify for the knockout stages of Europe’s elite club competition for the first time in 15 years. Anything other than victory over Dinamo Zagreb at the Emirates, or a draw or better for Olympiacos at Bayern Munich, will confirm that fate. A glitch, perhaps, in an otherwise consistent run of form competing among the best and richest the continent has to offer. But taking into account the club’s long-term stagnation in the Premier League and the consistently decreasing returns in Europe, this surely must set off giant alarm bells in north London, even for someone so obstinately sure of his own progress as Wenger. In the first stage of the Frenchman’s reign, Arsenal built a team capable of claiming to be Europe’s finest. Two domestic Doubles were followed by the Invincibles season of 2003-04, leaving Thierry Henry and Co ready to conquer the continent. They so nearly did that in Paris two years later, when Jens Lehmann’s early red card eventually proved too much to overcome against a brilliant Barcelona. Arsenal's record in the Champions league under Wenger, and their Premier League finishes Since that final, however, Wenger’s men have been on a slippery slope down towards where they find themselves today. Only once have they reached the semi-finals again, in 2009. Since that humbling by Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United, it has been little but depressing underachievement for Arsenal in Europe. After a quarter-final KO in 2010, Arsenal have failed to progress beyond the last 16 of the competition, finding themselves squashed under the marching boots of Europe’s superpowers: AC Milan, Barcelona, Bayern Munich. Last season Arsenal were forced to stare through their glass ceiling even at Monaco, who provided the most sobering defeat of Wenger’s reign. Until, possibly, now. Should Olympiacos progress at their expense, Arsenal will now face the reality that the only place left to fall is out of the competition altogether. But that dire prospect does not even require a giant leap of faith to imagine. The cycle of Arsenal’s season is an easy jab in the ribs: sneak into fourth place – buy a new player – declare intention to win the title – lose early-season league games – fans call for Wenger’s head – exit Champions League early – fans call for Wenger’s head again – win a few games at end of season – sneak into fourth place – buy a new player – declare intention to win the title – lose early-season league games – fans call for Wenger’s head – win a few games… you get the picture. It’s that bit about sneaking into fourth that should leave Arsenal fans most uneasy. While Wenger has picked up successive FA Cups, fourth place has long become the club’s de facto ‘trophy’, adding some justification to a run of 11 years now without a league title by unlocking the riches of the Champions League – a maximum of £38.1million in prize money, plus the same again in market pool share for a potential English winner of the competition this season. Arsenal’s league finishes have become as consistently below-par as their Champions league exits. The last time they finished second was 10 years ago. Since then their final league positions read: 4, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 4, 3. Their league position today? Fourth. Given their steady decline in the Champions League and their proven inability to penetrate further into the top four, it appears that the most likely direction from here is down rather than up. Hence why Wenger might just be right to take the Europa League seriously: it might soon be the only European competition Arsenal ever compete in. If that is the case, the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will not hang around for those heady trips to Qarabag or Krasnodar. The loss of anywhere between £10m and £70m in prize money won from being in the knockout stages would also harm Arsenal's ability to buy marquee players next summer too. There is prize money to be won in the Europa League but is peanuts compared with the feast on offer at Europe's top table. But, for Tuesday night at least, Arsenal will fight on. Victory over Zagreb and an Olympiacos defeat would leave the door ajar to sneak into the last 16 again with a big win over the Greeks on December 9. That would be a fightback worth applauding, but you get the sense it would only start the cycle once again. Wenger has nailed down the art of scrapping to gain a place in the Champions League. But, like the bald man given a comb, he hasn’t a clue what to do with it. Code:

Re: Arsenal - News and Rumors
Arsene Wenger fan Pep Guardiola emerges as shock candidate for Arsenal with Bayern Munich boss admirer of club's philosophy
* Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of Arsenal's philosophy under Arsene Wenger * Arsenal have emerged as surprise candidates to land Bayern Munich boss * Spaniard could take another sabbatical or stay at Bayern for one more year Arsenal have emerged as surprise candidates to land Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola, who will announce his plans next week. Manchester City are regarded as favourites, with Guardiola's former Barcelona colleagues running the club, and Manchester United are also mentioned as a possibility. But high-level sources have added Arsenal to the shortlist for Guardiola, who is a huge fan of their style of football under Arsene Wenger. The Frenchman's achievements with the Gunners have been such that he can choose his own leaving date. But his contract expires at the end of next season and it could be that Guardiola takes another sabbatical or stays at Bayern for one more year to wait for a possible Arsenal vacancy. Arsenal have emerged as surprise candidates to land highly sought-after Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola The Spaniard has also been sounded out about becoming Chelsea’s permanent boss next summer, but is understood to have told the club they need 10 new players. They are long-term admirers of Guardiola, who once turned down the Stamford Bridge post in 2012 after the Blues won the Champions League. But sources close to Guardiola indicate he is not happy with the current state of the squad and is wary of taking such an ever-changing role. The two managers greet one another before Arsenal's Champions League clash with Barcelona in 2011 Code:
