Wenger plotting Llorente loan swoop as unsettled Juventus striker looks to boost World Cup chances
Arsenal have discussed a January loan move for Juventus forward Fernando Llorente. Despite his side's excellent start to the season, Arsene Wenger remains keen to sign a new striker. And the Gunners are closely monitoring the Spain striker's situation in Turin ahead of a swoop at the start of next year. Out of favour: Llorente joined Juventus in the summer but has found his opportunities limited Arsenal scouts have watched Llorente extensively in recent seasons and Wenger is a fan of the centre forward. Llorente joined Juventus from Athletic Bilbao in the summer, but has struggled to get in the team ahead of Carlos Tevez. And Arsenal are keen to take advantage of the situation by striking a temporary deal with Juve for the 28-year-old. Llorente has lost his place in the Spain squad and knows he must be playing regularly to ensure his place in Vicente Del Bosque World Cup plans. Running out of time: Llorente has lost his place in Spain's squad And the opportunity of first-team football at the Emirates Stadium is likely to appeal to Llorente. Meanwhile, Wenger has dropped a huge hint that he is ready to sign a new contact with Arsenal. Sportsmail revealed last week how the club were set to open formal talks over a new three year deal, worth £8million-per-season. Wenger's existing deal expires at the end of the season and majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has placed on record how keen he is for Wenger to stay. And the Frenchman has suggested he is keen to finish his career in England. 'I can see the rest of my life in England, why not?,' he said. 'I feel comfortable in this country because we share a common passion for football and as well I am very thankful for this country for having accepted me and giving me a chance. I am happy on the football pitch.' Arsenal attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla has stepped up his training following an ankle injury. The Spaniard has missed over a month with the problem, but it is hoped the playmaker will be available for the visit of Norwich on October 19. Code:

PSG to switch Verratti for Pogba?
Paris Saint-Germain could be targeting a move for Paul Pogba, and may use Marco Verratti as a potential sweetener, according to reports. Tuttosport have claimed that the French side are desperate to sign the Juventus midfielder, despite the 20-year-old expected to sign a new four-year contract with the Bianconeri. That new deal will not put Laurent Blanc’s men off though, and could offer Verratti in return for the former Manchester United man. President Andrea Agnelli recently admitted that the club would not be able to turn down a huge offer for Pogba, and getting the Italy international in return for the Bleus youngster may be too good to refuse. Juventus ready to end Lamela's Tottenham nightmare with big-money summer bid
Juventus are prepared to rescue Erik Lamela from his Tottenham torment but the Italian champions will not make a move before the summer. Lamela’s father has said his son wants to leave London and return to Italy, concerned that his place in Argentina’s World Cup squad will be jeopardised by another six months at Spurs. Spurs have made it clear they will not allow the 21-year-old winger to leave on loan and expect most of their £30million back, which should be enough to cool interest from Inter Milan. Struggle: Tottenham do not want to loan out the Argentine and are keen to recoup most of his £30million fee Juventus have more money and their sporting director Fabio Paratici is a big admirer of Lamela, who scored 15 goals for Roma last season before Tottenham made their club-record swoop, but are not in the market for such a player this month. The Serie A leaders have won their last ten domestically, and already have a number of big-name players itching for more first team action. Lamela has not settled well where he has been slow to adjust to the pace and power of English football and has started only three times in the Barclays Premier League. Code:

Re: Juventus - News and Rumors
Antonio Conte leaves as Juventus manager by mutual consent after four years in charge
* Antonio Conte has left Juventus by mutual consent * 44-year-old guided Juventus to three consecutive Serie A titles * Conte played over 500 games for Juve, also captaining them as a player Antonio Conte has left as Juventus manager by mutual consent after four years in charge of the club. The 44-year-old leaves the Old Lady after guiding them to three successive Serie A titles. The Italian, who captained the club during his playing career, also led the Turin outfit to a record points haul of 102 points as they won their 30th official league title. Gone: Antionio Conte has quit as Juventus manager by mutual consent after four years in charge at the club The announcement was made on Juventus' website, in a shock move just as the Italian club begins preparations for next campaign. There had been speculation toward the end of last season that Conte wanted to leave but then he had appeared to change his mind. He had one year remaining on his contract with Juventus but announced his decision to leave via a video message on the club's website. 'I have decided to terminate my contract with Juventus,' he said. 'I have matured with time and my feelings led me to make this choice. It may be more difficult to keep winning with Juventus. 'An enormous thank you for what you have given to me as a player and as a coach. I have always been close to you. I want to say that the journey taken in recent years has been historic. 'Winning is difficult. It comes with a lot of effort, especially in a club like Juventus where there is the obligation of victory, but I showed I'm a winner.' While the job of Italy national team coach is open after Cesare Prandelli resigned following the Azzurri's group stage exit from the World Cup, Conte wouldn't give any clues to his next move. 'Right now I'm thinking about the present and the decision taken,' he added. Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon called it 'a serious loss' and had no explanation for the coach's move but suggested the departure will not greatly affect the squad's performance. 'We've lost a great coach but great players and a smart club remain in place,' the goalkeeper said. 'Now we need to stay together even more and show what we're worth, disregarding Conte.' President Andrea Agnelli delivered a passionate tribute to Conte, thanking him for his time at the helm of the club. 'Dear Antonio, you have been a great leader and this news saddens me greatly,' he wrote on Juve's official site. Captain fantastic: Conte (left) played over 500 appearances for Juventus as a player, winning five league titles 'Three years together have led us to write history with three consecutive titles and two Italian cups. 'You have given a group of highly talented professionals who will be at the disposal of the new coach to continue writing the future. 'You are in the history of the Bianconeri colours and whatever choice you make, a Juventus victory will always make you smile. 'Antonio, thank you for everything. Til the end.' Conte, a former Italy international, joined Juve from Siena in 2011 and returned to Turin to a fanfare owing to his standing as one of the club's greatest ever players. He made over 500 appearances in black and white and won five league titles. That Midas touch continued as he won Serie A at the first attempt with his side going unbeaten throughout the league season. A second title duly followed but the summer of 2013 saw him embroiled in a corruption row after he was charged with failing to report attempted match-fixing during his time with Siena. Conte pleaded innocence but was banned for 10 months - a sentence reduced to a four-month touchline suspension last August. In the running? Roberto Mancini has already been linked to replace Conte as Juventus manager He returned to the dugout midway through last season leading Juve to another title. Conte signed a new deal through to the summer of 2015 earlier this year but now appears to be the man destined to fill Prandelli's shoes in charge of the Italian national side. He leaves amid fevered speculation regarding the future of key players Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal. Former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini and ex-AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri are already being linked with his position at Juventus. Code:
