Default Manchester United - Loan Watch 2016/17

LOAN MOVE AGREED FOR GUILLERMO VARELA

Manchester United and Eintracht Frankfurt have reached agreement for Guillermo Varela to join the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan, effective until 30 June 2017.

The Uruguayan defender came on as a substitute in Jose Mourinho's first game in charge of United, the 2-0 friendly win at Wigan Athletic last weekend, but with his temporary move to Germany in progress, he did not travel to China on Tour 2016, presented by Aon.

Since making his senior Reds debut in a goalless home draw against West Ham United on 5 December 2015, Varela has made a total of 10 starts for the first team. He also scored the dramatic title-clinching goal for the Under-21s last season against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.

The South American has previously enjoyed a season away from Old Trafford with Real Madrid's Castilla side following his move to Manchester from Uruguayan club Penarol in the summer of 2013.

Saya senang liat gaya nyerangnya, sporadis. Tapi semua CB yg main bareng dia pasti ngomel-ngomel
Semoga masa loannya bisa memperbaiki kelemahan itu.

Mengenai opsi permanen, ngeliat kondisi internal dulu, siapa tau ada anak baru yg lebih stabil.

Jose Mourinho preparing to send James Wilson and striker's fellow Manchester United starlets out on loan

* Revamped loan rules mean Manchester United youngsters must fix moves
* Forward James Wilson spent majority of last season on loan with Brighton
* Highly-rated Wilson expected to head out again, along with Tyler Blackett
* Under 21 boss Warren Joyce wants stars to gain competitive experience

A number of Manchester United youngsters are set to head out on loan in the coming weeks given the Football League’s new transfer structure.

The emergency loan window - allowing lower league clubs to borrow players for a maximum of three months - has been abolished for this season.

It means those who would benefit from sustained time away must fix up a move by summer’s end or wait until January.

James Wilson is yet to crack the first-team at Old Trafford and spent time last season with Brighton

United’s kids are always in demand by those in the Championship and below, with Jose Mourinho facing tough decisions as to which young guns he wants to spend a year elsewhere. Premier League teams no longer have the ability to recall their players at short notice.

Under 21 manager Warren Joyce said after their 5-1 win at the Class of 92’s Salford City that stepping out of the age-group bubble is what his young guns need.

‘We've had two games against two non-League sides (the other against Altrincham) so playing against men is what we're looking for to develop the players,’ Joyce said.

‘I thought we acquitted ourselves very well. There were a lot of positives and we've no injuries.

‘I'm pleased to get through it. Fitness is a major part this side of the season but it was a proper test.

‘It's funny at this stage of the season because there's a lot of lads who you don't know what's going to happen to them. You're just trying to get them fit and playing a certain way.’

Tyler Blackett is expected to follow his temporary stay at Celtic with another loan switch elsewhere

Goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara got a taste of League Two football during a spell with Morecambe last term

Central midfielder Sean Goss impressed at Salford, while goalkeeper Kieran O’Hara is expected to gain further Football League experience after he spent time on loan with Morecambe last season. League One Southend United have expressed interest in taking the 20-year-old, while League Two rivals Wycombe and Cheltenham are also keen.

Watching scouts at Moor Lane will have noticed 20-year-old Josh Harrop’s two stunning strikes as well. Indeed, James Wilson and Tyler Blackett, both of whom did not fly to China with the first-team squad, are likely to depart.

Wilson, who scored the opener on Tuesday night, was with Brighton last year, while Blackett played eight times for Celtic.

Joyce said of Wilson: ‘It's just pre-season so you're just picking him up and trying to get him fit. That's all you're looking at at this stage of the season for all of them and he's no different from anybody else.’

ADNAN JANUZAJ JOINS SUNDERLAND ON LOAN

Adnan Januzaj has agreed to join Sunderland on a season-long loan move from Manchester United.

The 21-year-old links up again with former Reds boss David Moyes at the Stadium of Light and also Donald Love and Paddy McNair, who signed for the Black Cats earlier this week.

Januzaj, of course, scored twice on his full debut at Sunderland in October 2013, to earn the Reds a 2-1 triumph on Wearside during Moyes' spell in charge at Old Trafford.

"Adnan fits into my plans, that is why he's on loan at a Premier League club," Jose Mourinho told a press conference on Friday.

"If he didn't fit into my plans, then we don't care about him, we don't care about where he's going, which club, which competition, which manager. We care about him because we think he's a talented player.

"However, to be in the same squad as [Anthony] Martial, [Henrikh] Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Memphis Depay, it would have meant not many matches. We cannot be selfish and have to think about the players and, in this case, Adnan. I want to give him all the conditions to develop, to play and to play well. We will see him every week in this country and we can compare performances. He is in the right place with a manager that likes him a lot. So hopefully everything will go well for him and that's what we want because we want him back!"

The Belgium international looks set to go straight into the Sunderland squad for Saturday's trip to Manchester City, after the deal was finalised in time.

This is the second loan move for the youngster after he spent time with Borussia Dortmund last season.

“He fits in my plans which is why he’s on loan at a Premier League club,” Mourinho said.

“If he doesn’t fit in my plans, I don’t care where he is going, I just send him to Borussia Dortmund where he didn’t play one match. We care about him and think he’s a talented player.

Opsi terbaik bagi Januzaj. Semoga dengan adannya Moyes dia akan mendapatkan kesempatan main tiap pekan. Bakat ada, hanya mentalitas yang perlu dibangun.

20/08/2016 19:35, Report by Mark Froggatt
WILSON SET TO JOIN
DERBY COUNTY ON LOAN

Manchester United and Derby County have
reached an agreement for talented young
striker James Wilson to complete a season-
long loan at the iPro Stadium.

The 20-year-old, who has scored four
goals in 20 first-team appearances for the
Reds, will join Nigel Pearson’s squad as
the Rams look to secure promotion from
the Championship this campaign.

Wilson made his United debut under the
interim management of Ryan Giggs at the
close of the 2013/14 season, famously
scoring twice against Hull City at Old
Trafford, and he remained a part of the
senior squad during Louis van Gaal’s first
year at the club.

Chances to play for the Reds in 2015/16
were limited, however, and the England
Under-21s was therefore sent on loan to
Brighton & Hove Albion. Willo, as he is
known to his team-mates, scored five
goals in 28 appearances as Chris
Hughton’s Seagulls reached the play-off
semi-finals.

Wilson returned to United earlier this
summer but with competition so fierce
among Jose Mourinho’s strikers – with
Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic,
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford all
competing for starting places – the
Academy graduate has agreed to
temporarily join Derby to continue his
education.

In a statement on Derby's website, Rams
boss Pearson said: “We’re delighted to
have agreed to bring James Wilson on a
season-long loan. I hope that this loan
deal will prove to be mutually beneficial for
all parties and I would like to place on
record our thanks to Manchester United for
allowing James to join us. He is an
energetic player who will add to our
existing attacking options.”

Everybody at Manchester United would like
to wish James good luck for this season.
