Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sent scouts to watch Belgian wonderkind Eden Hazard.

The Lille star won the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season last term, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been a long time admirer of the 18-year-old.

Hazard has already been capped by his country, and Belgian sources believe that United sent a scout to watch the player in a Europa League clash with Racing Genk last Thursday.

Inter Milan and Juventus were both linked with the player earlier in the month, according to the Italian media at least, and now Sir Alex Ferguson has signaled his intent towards the player.

Hazard has also hinted at interest in a possible move to the Premier League, and although he has a contract with his French club until 2012, he would not be impartial to a move.

Talking to L'equipe at the end of last season, Hazzard said: "We will see in the future, but for now I am a Lille player.

"I do not have a favourite club. Recently, I said that I liked Arsenal or Real Madrid, but I have the power to play in a club like Manchester or Barcelona, that would be fantastic."

United in for Swindon's Alex Henshall

Chelsea’s transfer embargo will force them to miss out on Swindon wonder-kid Alex Henshall, clearing the way for Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.

Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti had lined up a move for England youth winger Henshall, 15, after he impressed in the prestigious Milk Cup tournament in Ireland.

Everton and United are now locked in a two-way battle.

Swindon youth boss Dave Byrne said: “No official bid has come in for Alex.

“The last thing we want is to sell a player who has been here since the age of eight but if he decides to leave that is up to Alex and his parents.”

Manchester United ave furiously denied allegations they have offered bribes to sign young players.

United defended their reputation in a strongly-worded statement, dismissing claims by Le Havre president Jean-Pierre Louvel that the estranged parents of French teenager Paul Pogba were paid more than £85,000 each to lure the 16-year-old to Old Trafford last month, and that the family were also offered a house in Manchester.

The controversy escalated as United were being linked with a move for another French prodigy, Caen midfielder Regis Etari.

Le Havre have called on FIFA to investigate, but United insisted they will fight any charge and threatened the French club with legal action.

The statement read: ‘Manchester United wish to categorically confirm that as a matter of club policy and in accordance with the applicable regulations, they do not offer inducements to the parents of players that sign for the club.

‘Manchester United has today written to Le Havre to put it on notice that action will be
taken if such allegations are repeated in relation to the transfer of Paul Pogba.’

It is a bold statement from United coming so soon after Chelsea were hit with a transfer embargo after FIFA found them guilty of inducing Gael Kakuta to break his contract with Lens in 2007.

United have already sparked anger in Italy by signing Federico Macheda from Lazio,
Fiorentina’s Michele Fornasier, Empoli duo Alberto Massacci and Manuel Pucciarelli, and Roma’s Davide Petrucci, and could face more trouble from the French if reports of their interest in Etari, a France Under-17 midfielder from Caen, are accurate.

Manchester United siap menjawab komplain Le Havre, klub Ligue 2 Prancis, atas transfer Paul Pogba.

People memberitakan petinggi MU merasa telah melakukan segalanya sesuai aturan saat mendapatkan gelandang Prancis berusia 16 tahun itu. Pekan ini MU akan meminta FIFA melakukan intervensi dan memaksa Le Havre, juga Federasi Sepakbola Prancis (FFF), untuk merilis kejelasan status internasional Pogba.

Meski FIFA sempat menegaskan tidak menerima komplain Le Havre, terungkap bahwa klub yang musim lalu terdegradasi ke Ligue 2 Prancis itu meminta FFF untuk tidak mengeluarkan surat pelepasan Pogba ke MU. Le Havre berusaha menyembunyikan fakta Pogba setuju bergabung dengan MU.

MU telah mengajukan transfer paper ke FA, dan menyatakan telah bertindak sesuai aturan FIFA ketika mendapatkan Pogba dari Le Havre.

"Kami membantah telah melakukan kekeliruan dalam mendapatkan Pogba," ujar sumber di Old Trafford.

"Komplain Le Havre, dan imbauan untuk menindak MU adalah omong kosong," ujar sumber itu lagi.

MU, masih menurut sumber yang tak mau disebut namanya, akan berbicara dengan FIFA dan meminta organisasi sepakbola dunia itu untuk memaksa FFF merilis dokumen Pogba.

"Bocah ini ingin bergabung dengan MU, karena dia tahu kami memberikan semua pemain berbakat kesempatan untuk menjadi besar di masa depan," sumber itu mengakhiri.

Iya sih...tapi khawatir juga klo ntar MU malah kena hukuman lebih keras. Klo ternyata cara MU salah kan ya bisa diperbaiki untuk perekrutan berikutnya. klo ternyata bener ya lanjut aja...
