Manchester United 'to pay half of Alexis Sanchez's £560,000-a-week wages' during season-long loan to Inter Milan 'with Chilean forward to undergo medical on Tuesday'

* Inter Milan are close to signing Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez on loan
* Reports in Italy claim United will pay half of his £560,00-a-week wages
* Gazzetta dello Sport suggest Inter's No 7 shirt has been reserved for Sanchez
* The Serie A club will spend £4.5million up front to secure a 12-month loan deal

Manchester United will pay half of Alexis Sanchez's wages if they can agree a deal to offload the forward to Inter Milan, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report claims the Red Devils will pay 50 per cent of the forward's £560,000-a-week wages if the Serie A club agree to take the forward on a season-long loan — with a medical penciled in for Tuesday.

The 30-year-old could join Romelu Lukaku as the second United player to sign for Inter this summer after the Belgian international completed a £73million move earlier this month.

Man United will reportedly pay half of Alexis Sanchez 's wages if they can agree deal to offload. Antonio Conte is desperate to recruit Sanchez as he looks to restructure his Inter side

The front page reads: 'Fantasy couple! Another deal with United: the Chilean can arrive on loan, the English will pay half of his salary. He reserves the No 7 shirt'.

It is believed Sanchez is keen to move to Inter and has received permission from United to speak to the Italian giants and manager Antonio Conte with a deal on the cusp of being agreed.

He will now fly over to Italy to have a medical with the Italian giants on Tuesday, according to the Sun.

Sanchez's astronomical wages have been a major obstacle in him finding a new club, but Inter are now willing to spend €5m (£4.5m) up front to take him on loan.

Unless the transfer goes ahead, the contract signed by Sanchez in January 2018 could still cost United up to £560,000 per week once all aspects of the four-and-a-half-year deal are factored in.

He earns a basic salary of £300,000 a week, plus an additional net payment of £100,000 a week from a £5million-a-year image rights deal.

Romelu Lukaku has been messaging former team-mate Alexis Sanchez EVERY DAY to convince him to link-up at Inter Milan… and he's even told the Chile star how much more beautiful Italy is than Manchester!

* Romelu Lukaku has been working hard to persuade Alexis Sanchez to join
* Inter Milan forward made case on behalf of club for Manchester United forward
* Belgian told Sanchez Milan is a much more beautiful city than Manchester

Romelu Lukaku has been bombarding former Manchester United team-mate Alexis Sanchez with messages to convince him to join Inter Milan.

The Belgian striker moved to the Serie A club for £73million this summer and has been working on Sanchez every day to link up with him again.

Lukaku has even been telling the 30-year-old forward that Milan is a far more beautiful place to live than Manchester.

It seems his efforts are to be rewarded and Sanchez has already chosen the No 7 shirt ahead of a season-long loan move.

The presence of his Chilean compatriot Gary Medel is also a persuasive factor and it is a matter of time until the deal is announced.

United will still be paying half of Alexis Sanchez's £560,000-a-week wages, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Romelu Lukaku has been working to persuade Alexis Sanchez to join Inter Milan. Lukaku remains close friends with his former Manchester United team-mate

A medical has been pencilled in for Tuesday and Sanchez would no doubt arrive at Inter fully motivated to return to his best.

The former Arsenal forward has struggled to justify his enormous wage at United and failed to capture his top form.

Both he and Lukaku have plenty to prove this season and they would form a key part of the expected 3-5-2 formation at the San Siro.

Sanchez already has experience of top-flight Italian football having spent five years on the books of Udinese and this could be his chance to resurrect his career.

'Sanchez has been an absolute disaster... he needs to get him out of the club': Gary Neville urges Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to force through flop's move to Inter Milan

* Alexis Sanchez has scored just three goals since joining Man United in 2018
* Sanchez is in talks with Inter over move before Serie A deadline on September 2
* The forward hasn't featured in opening two games as he recovers from injury

Gary Neville says Alexis Sanchez's time at Manchester United has been an 'absolute disaster' and has urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to sell the forward.

Sanchez moved to Old Trafford in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January 2018 after United beat Manchester City to the Chilean's signature.

But the 30-year-old has endured a torrid time at the club and scored just two goals in 27 appearances in all competitions last season.

Gary Neville says Alexis Sanchez has been an 'absolute disaster' and must be sold this summer. Sanchez scored just two goals last season and has barely featured since Solskjaer took charge. The 30-year-old is in talks with Inter over a loan move to the club before the Serie A deadline

Sanchez is in negotiations with Serie A giants Inter over a loan move ahead of Italy's transfer deadline on September 2 and Neville says United must get rid of him.

'Sanchez has been an absolute disaster,' Neville said on Sky Sports on Monday. 'I have no idea what's happened to him. There must be two of them.

'The one that's turned up in Manchester I have no idea who that is. He needs to get him out of the club. He needs to get a couple out this year, he needs to get a couple out next year.'

Sanchez established himself as one of the best players in the Premier League during a four-year stay at Arsenal, who he joined from Barcelona in 2014.

But his time at United appears to be up, with United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer adding winger Daniel James to his squad over the summer and favouring youngster Mason Greenwood.

In his absence, United have picked up four points from their opening two Premier League games after following up the 4-0 win over Chelsea with a 1-1 draw against Wolves on Monday.

Tinggal menunggu waktu saja nih bagi Sanchez meninggalkan Old Trafford.

Default Re: Alexis Sanchez

The incredible money Manchester United poured down the drain as Alexis Sanchez heads to Inter Milan: Chilean flop's dismal stats saw him cost over £8MILLION per goal

* Alexis Sanchez signed massive deal to join Manchester United back in 2018
* Chilean could end up costing Old Trafford club full £560,000-per-week
* He is nearing loan move to Inter Milan with United still paying half his wages
* The statistics shame Sanchez as incredibly poor value for money at Old Trafford

Those in the Manchester United boardroom must wince when they hear the name Alexis Sanchez, such is the poor value for money their £560,000-per-week man has delivered.

Having signed the enormous deal in 2018 after United put together a financial package that rivals City refused to match, Sanchez has been a shadow of his former self.

And now the 30-year-old is on the brink of a loan move to Inter Milan for the season, it is worth reflecting on the statistics that shame him.

Alexis Sanchez has offered Manchester United extremely poor value for money. The Chilean has scored just five times for United, costing them £8,200,000 per goal

Sanchez became the highest paid player in the Premier League when he joined from Arsenal and if all the segments of his contract are combined, he could end up costing United the full £560,000-a-week.

His basic salary of £300,000, an additional £100,000 from image rights and £21,370 to his agent combined with bonuses and employers' national insurance payments take the total to £560,000. Without the bonuses, one of which is for an appearance target Sanchez hasn't met, the overall cost is £505,000-per-week.

For such an astronomical outlay, those at Old Trafford anticipated a similarly spectacular output from Sanchez.

But poor form, injuries and a drastic loss of confidence has led to the forward effectively costing United £8million for every goal scored.

He's netted just five times in 45 matches and struggled to nail down a permanent spot in the side.

With youngsters such as Mason Greenwood carving out opportunities for themselves and fitting in with the model of player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seeking, the clock is ticking on Sanchez's United career.

Quote:
ALEXIS SANCHEZ'S STATS AT MANCHESTER UNITED:

All competitions
Games played : 45
Games started : 31
Minutes : 2777
Goals : 5
Mins/ Goal : 555
Shots : 48
Shots per 90 mins : 1.6
Shots on target :22
Shots on target per 90 mins : 0.7
Shot conversion rate :10.4
Assists : 9
Goals + assists : 14
Mins/ goal involvement : 198.4

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not found room for Sanchez in his starting line-up on many occasions. Sanchez will be looking to find his best form again if he completes a move to Inter Milan

The club are even understood to be footing half the bill if he completes his temporary move to Inter, as he is expected to this week.

Former team-mate Romelu Lukaku has been working hard to persuade Sanchez to join him at the San Siro under Antonio Conte in a bid to resurrect his career and improve on the woeful returns of the past season and a half.

Sanchez averages a goal involvement every 198 minutes and has scored at an average of 555 minutes (once every six games).

United have forked out £41m to him in that time and a whopping £911,111-per-game.

Even the change of manager from Jose Mourinho to Solskjaer has failed to revive the once irrepressible attacker.

In a perfect world, United would hope that consistent game time in Serie A will lead to Sanchez recapturing his best form and returning a changed man.

But only time will tell if he can ever offer United better value for money than than the jaw-dropping waste up until this point.

Manchester United face paying £36MILLION to Alexis Sanchez if his loan move to Inter Milan becomes permanent

* Alexis Sanchez is in negotiations with the Serie A club over a 12-month loan deal
* Inter Milan will have the option of making the move permanent next summer
* The Italians only want to pay him £150,000-a-week if they sign him permanently
* United would be obliged to pay up the remainder of his contract - worth £36m

Manchester United are facing a staggering £36 million bill if Alexis Sanchez's protracted loan move to Inter Milan is made permanent.

Representatives from both clubs held further talks on Wednesday regarding the Chilean's season-long loan move to Italy, with the Serie A side hopeful of having a deal concluded before the weekend.

The deal is expected to include an option for Inter to make the deal permanent next summer.

Alexis Sanchez looks set to join Inter on a 12-month loan deal after a miserable spell at United. Inter have the option of making the move permanent next summer if the loan is a success

But Sportsmail understands the San Siro club are planning on offering Sanchez a contract worth no more than £150,000-per-week if they decide to make the deal permanent next summer.

The South American will be 31 next summer and Inter chiefs are understandably reluctant to commit a huge burden on their wage bill given his age.

That leaves Sanchez facing a huge shortfall of £350,000-per-week on his current £500,000-per-week contract at Old Trafford - one the forward is almost certainly unwilling to take.

Therefore, United would be contractually obliged to pay out the remaining two years of his contract - a total of £36m.

The option to sign Sanchez on a permanent deal next summer is believed to be set at a fixed price of just under £15m.

If Inter were to take up that option, the transfer fee would help ease the financial burden on United as they settle the remainder of Sanchez's contract.

As exclusively revealed by Sportsmail in May, United will pay a significant portion of Sanchez's £26m salary to facilitate his exit this summer.

But United could be left with another hefty bill next summer if Inter sign Sanchez permanently.

Alexis Sanchez played secret game against Sheffield United at Manchester United's Carrington training base as Inter Milan close in on move for Chilean flop

* Alexis Sanchez is closing in on an exit from his Manchester United nightmare
* The Chilean is poised to seal a move back to Serie A by joining Inter Milan
* United played Sanchez during a behind-closed-doors match this week
* Sanchez featured alongside Juan Mata and Phil Jones vs Sheffield United

Alexis Sanchez featured in a behind-closed-doors Manchester United fixture against Sheffield United, as he prepares to end his Old Trafford nightmare and seal a summer move to Inter Milan.

United chiefs decided to field Sanchez in the practice match at their Carrington base, despite his Serie A move currently progressing.

Sanchez was included in the squad alongside the likes of Juan Mata, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked to get him men up to full fitness.

Alexis Sanchez featured in a behind-closed-doors game against Sheffield United this week. The United outcast was given the chance to build some fitness ahead of his potential exit

Mata, Andreas Pereira and youngster Mason Greenwood all came on as substitutes in the recent 1-1 draw with Wolves at Molineux, but Solskjaer is keen to get the majority of his first team playing similar minutes.

The trio started the friendly clash with Chris Wilder's side as a result, alongside Sanchez and highly rated youngster Angel Gomes.

It may well be the last United involvement for Sanchez, whose move to Inter is edging closer.

Inter want to complete an initial loan deal for Sanchez with a view to a permanent switch next summer.

The difficulty in agreement is set to come down to wages however, with United likely to have to subsidise at least a portion of the 30-year-old Chile international's huge £560,000-per-week deal.

Sanchez became the highest paid player in the Premier League when he joined from Arsenal in January of last year.

A combination of poor form, injuries and a drastic loss of confidence has led to the forward effectively costing United £8million for every goal scored.

Sanchez has netted just five times in 45 matches and struggled to nail down a permanent spot in the side.

A move to Inter would see Sanchez return to the familiarity of Serie A. The player made his name in the division, as a fresh-faced youngster arriving in European football with Udinese.

The Italian club signed Sanchez from the Chilean club which he started his football career with, C.D. Cobreloa, in 2006.
