FIFA 19 ratings top 100 players 30-21: Mohammed Salah receives deserving upgrade but is rated lower than Isco

* The Liverpool and Egypt winger is now an 88 overall but surely deserves better
* He is in the top three for Best FIFA Player yet FIFA 19 has 26 players rated higher
* As an 89 overall, Dybala will partner up well with Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus

EA Sports have released even more FIFA 19 Ultimate Team ratings ahead of the game's release on September 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

Today, we have been shown players 21-30 out of the top 100 players in the game. As we get closer to the game's best players, the final ratings are becoming increasingly exciting as well as controversial.

Mohammed Salah had a spectacular season for Liverpool, leading to him being named in the final three for Best Fifa's Men's Player award alongside Real Madrid duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric. Despite that, EA have comparatively ranked him quite low.

EA Sports have revealed the first FIFA 19 Ultimate Team ratings with 30-21 of the top 100

The Egypt international has boosted up to an 88 overall after originally being an 83 in FIFA 18. The impressive is stacked with amazing stats including 92 pace, 89 dribbling and 84 shooting.

Whilst a very strong card, it seems strange of EA to rank another 26 players ahead of him. Especially certain players like Isco who didn't reach the same heights last season.

While Isco may have proved his quality at the World Cup and during Spain's friendly with England this last weekend, he struggled at times for Real Madrid. Despite that, EA have given him an 89 overall with 72 pace, 92 dribbling, 81 shooting and 85 passing.

Another player who is surprisingly above Salah is Manchester City's David Silva. The Spanish midfielder helped City to a dominant season in the Premier League but by no means did he have as big an impact as Salah. His 89-rated card looks useful with 66 pace, 91 dribbling, 74 shooting and 87 passing.

Finally there is Juventus' Paulo Dybala who will turn out to be an incredible attacking threat both in-game and real life alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus. The ridiculous 89-rated card has 85 pace, 91 dribbling, 85 shooting and 84 passing.

FIFA 19 ratings top 100 players 20-11: Antoine Griezmann, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero just miss out on the 90s

* Antoine Griezmann, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero now all have overalls of 89
* Real Madrid's new goalkeeper Thibaut Courtios has been upgraded to a 90
* Bayern Munich duo Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski are both 90s too

EA Sports have released another batch of FIFA 19 Ultimate Team ratings ahead of the game's release on September 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

This time we have numbers 20-11 so we can see who just missed out on the prestigious top 10. We've finally been given our first glimpse of players rated 90 and above but there's a few high profile players who didn't quite reach that landmark.

That includes Tottenham's Harry Kane, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and and Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann who all have an overall of 89 in FIFA 19.

EA Sports have revealed the lower half of the top 20 players from FIFA 19 Ultimate Team

Griezmann, Kane and Aguero are all in the top 20 but didn't quite manage overalls of 90

While Diego Simeone reckons Griezmann has been the best player in the world over the last year, EA are on a different page - leaving him out of the 90 ratings. They still upgraded him by one though and his card looks lethal with 86 pace, 88 dribbling, 86 shooting and 81 passing.

Kane just missed out on the Premier League Golden Boot last year to Mohammed Salah but he has beaten the Egyptian's FIFA rating of 88.

After a strong season which included the World Cup Golden Boot, Kane has been upgraded from his 86 rating in FIFA 18. The impressive card sports 70 pace, 81 dribbling, 90 shooting, 79 passing and 83 physicality.

Meanwhile Aguero's overall has stayed the same from last year, although his pace has been downgraded. He now has 84 pace as well s 89 dribbling, 89 shooting, 76 passing and 73 physicality.

Chelsea's N'golo Kante makes sure the top 20 players list is even more stacked with an upgrade from 87 to 89. The World Cup winner now has 80 pace, 81 dribbling, 66 shooting, 87 defending, 77 passing and 84 physicality.

As for the 90 ratings, three goalkeepers have been included by EA - Thibaut Courtois, Jan Oblak and Manuel Neuer. Courtois has been given a small upgrade of one after joining Real Madrid while Neuer has been downgraded by two following his injury problems.

The best 10 players on FIFA19 finally revealed with Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard leading the way for Premier League stars… but who comes out on top between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo?

* EA Sports have released the top 10 players of from the latest edition of FIFA
* There are three Premier League stars making it into the top bracket in the game
* David De Gea is best keeper in the game, while Sergio Ramos is top defender
* Once again, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are top two... but who is first?

EA Sports have finally put FIFA fans out of their misery and named the top 10 players on the latest version of the game.

After a week involving an excruciating countdown of the top 100 stars, the cream of the crop have finally emerged, with a number of familiar faces.

In fact, the three top players are exactly the same as last year, with Neymar rated the third best player on the game, behind former team-mate Leo Messi and cover star Cristiano Ronaldo top of the pile.

The top 10 players on FIFA 19 have finally been revealed by EA Sports ahead of its release

Quote:
FIFA 19 TOP 10 STARS

1. Cristiano Ronaldo - 94

2. Lionel Messi - 94

3. Neymar - 92

4. Luka Modric - 91

5. Kevin De Bruyne - 91

6. Eden Hazard - 91

7. Sergio Ramos - 91

8. Luis Suarez - 91

9. David De Gea - 91

10. Toni Kroos - 90
Behind them, Luka Modric, who helped Real Madrid to the Champions League and led Croatia to the World Cup final this summer, is recognised as one of the top stars with his fourth place, while Kevin De Bruyne is the top-rated Premier League star.

Eden Hazard sits just behind his top-flight rival in sixth, while Sergio Ramos is the best rated defender on the game.

Luis Suarez, who was fourth last season, drops down to eighth, while David De Gea is the top-rated keeper - the Manchester United shot-stopper rated ninth overall.

Toni Kroos rounds up the top 10, and is the third Real Madrid player in the star-studded line-up.

While a lot of the players have been awarded the same ratings, the players can be distinguished by more specific ratings for certain attributes.

Neymar pips Hazard in the pace rating with 92, while Messi has been crowned the best dribbler in the top 10 and Ronaldo boats the best shooting stat.

Only Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer and Gonzalo Higuain have dropped out and been replaced from the top 10 in last year's game.

The newest edition of FIFA will be available to buy and download across multiple platforms from September 28.

Juventus to be renamed 'Piemonte Calcio' on next FIFA game after signing deal with rival Pro Evolution Soccer

* FIFA game has long enjoyed naming rights of the world's biggest clubs
* But Pro Evolution Soccer have secured Juventus for their upcoming release
* This is a blow for FIFA as they use Cristiano Ronaldo as one of their cover stars

Juventus will be known as 'Piemonte Calcio' on the next FIFA game after signing a naming rights deal with Pro Evolution Soccer.

FIFA's traditional rival have stolen a march on their video game competitor, although the names and faces of Juventus players will stay realistic.

The 2020 version of PES secured exclusive naming rights with an agreement between Konami and the Italian champions.

Gamers will now have to play as Piemonte Calcio if they want to use Juventus on FIFA

This deal entitles PES to the name, kit, stadium and badge for Juventus in their game.

The licensing issue has pushed many gamers to FIFA over the years as they enjoy playing with more realism.

But PES are fighting back and over the past few seasons have incrementally started to claim rights of their own.

Barcelona, Liverpool and Inter Milan have agreed partnerships from everything from team strips to crowd chants.

But the fact that Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo are now PES property will particularly rankle given that the striker has been a cover star for FIFA in the past.

Eric Cantona, Xavi and Fernando Torres announced as the newest Icons to join FIFA 21's Ultimate Team mode along with eight other legends added for EA Sports' next instalment

* EA Sports reveal the 11 new Icons that can be used in the new FIFA 21 game
* Eric Cantona, Xavi and Fernando Torres will feature in the Ultimate Team mode
* Eight other legendary players have also been added to FIFA's next instalment
* Players will also be able to add Ferenc Puskas and Petr Cech to their squads

EA Sports have announced the 11 new legendary stars that will grace FIFA 21's Ultimate Team mode, allowing players to incorporate the likes of Eric Cantona, Xavi and Fernando Torres into their squads.

Fans will be able to get their hands on the next instalment of the FIFA series on October 6, which will feature over 100 'Icons' for the first time ever.

Along with Cantona, Xavi and Torres, gamers will also be given the chance to add Nemanja Vidic and Ashley Cole into their teams on Ultimate Team (FUT).

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has been added into FIFA 21's Ultimate Team mode

EA Sports announced 11 new 'Icons' that will be incorporated into FIFA 21 – released on Oct 6

Hungarian legend Ferenc Puskas has been added to the popular game series for the first time ever, while German duo Bastian Schweinsteiger and Philipp Lahm make their returns.

Samuel Eto'o and Petr Cech complete the star-studded line-up added to FUT for this year's title.

Icon cards have become a staple in FUT and are some of the rarest items to be acquired in the game mode.

FIFA 20 saw the addition of Zinedine Zidane, Pep Guardiola and Didier Drogba as icons, while fans are also able to include Pele, Diego Maradona and Paolo Maldini into their teams – if they are lucky enough.

Fans will also be able to put Fernando Torres into their team, who is now an icon in the game

Barcelona legend Xavi also makes his return to the game following his retirement in 2019

Following the announcement of the new icons last week, EA Sports stated: 'Create your dream squad as a combination of today's superstars and footballing giants of the past like Eric Cantona, Xavi, and Philipp Lahm joining Pele, Diego Maradona, Johan Cruyff, Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane and more to make up the prestigious FUT 100.'

Along with the announcement of the new icons, EA also confirmed that they will be making the game 'less toxic' for players going forward.

Goal celebrations such as the 'Shush' and 'A-OK' will be removed while the amount of time allocated to celebrate goals has also been reduced.

Explaining the recent removal and reductions, producer Sam Rivera told SPORTbible: 'There are people who play a lot of matches in the weekend and they need to complete 30 matches in a certain amount of time.

Serbian legend Nemanja Vidic will also be made available in FUT from October 6

Hungarian icon Ferenc Puskas has been added to the game for the first time ever

'We really felt like there were instances where if we're giving you an experience, it has to be smooth and it has to be to the point. I just want to come here and play; that's what the game is for.

'The game flow is so important and we need to keep it as short as possible. I play a lot of FIFA and for years I've felt we needed to trim this animation down so you don't have 15 seconds of celebration plus ten replays.

'We're now at a point where you have time to celebrate, which is part of football and that's what we want, and then you watch one replay of the goal and you're back into play.

'It's a change the hardcore community are going to appreciate a lot.'

Jadi inget dulu pertama kali main FIFA 96 masih "cupu" tampilannya dan wajahnya gak mirip-mirip banget eeh sekarang semakin mirip dan suasana stadion juga semakin "hidup". Memang luar biasa nih tim riset dan pengembangan produk EA Sports..

FIFA 21 REVIEW: The devil is in the detail as subtle changes, a revamped career mode and the nostalgic feel of 'Volta' fifa-street football creates another instant hit for dedicated fans

* The latest FIFA game, 21, is set to hit the stores on Friday October 9
* Kylian Mbappe is the poster boy as FIFA returns fresh with new elements
* Career mode has been revamped and 'Volta' street football provides nostalgia

And so another football season starts and another installment of the ridiculously successful FIFA franchise hits the shelves.

In what has been a turbulent, unpredictable and worrying year for the world as a whole and the football landscape, the return of a shiny new FIFA is just that little bit more welcoming. That bit more comforting.

First up, is this the sort of game you can pick up and not realise the hours are sailing by? Absolutely.

A new football season and a new FIFA as the hugely popular franchise makes its annual return

Kylian Mbappe is the poster boy of FIFA 21 and is one of the best rated players on the game

But haven't most FIFA football games been like that?

Dedicated fans of will remain glued to the latest offering equally as much as its predecessors, but it is the beauty which lies in the detail that we really care about.

So, is FIFA 21 different? And how much?

To put it out there early on, players who are expecting glaring changes to the gameplay system and manner in which FIFA flows will be left disappointed.

Instead, nuanced tweaks can be seen stitched within the existing skeleton of the footballing machine. Passing is slicker, players are more responsive and generally speaking it feels as though the transitions of play fold much more kindly into one another.

Subtle details are seen within the gameplay, while stadiums are recreated in stunning fashion

FIFA have mapped out realism across the board, with the exterior of Anfield seen here

But these are the little things one senses after playing their way into the new product. In terms of immediate first impressions, everything feels rather similar to 12 months ago.

There is indeed a lot to like. Well crafted build up will be rewarded with sublime goals which feel as though they're being broadcast straight from live action. Realism comes into its own in FIFA 21, but jarring elements still persist.

Perhaps, unlike myself, your FIFA skill level will quickly iron out any teething issues, though it feels as though the rigid defending system in the game feels much more testing than it has done in previous years. Clunky, almost.

Saintly patience must be retained when the game's poster boy Kylian Mbappe - now rated 90 overall - blitzes towards your defensive line with dazzling feet. It is certainly a baptism of fire, dive in and you're done for.

Yet the game feels very much like a learning process. Getting humiliated once allows for the user to quickly realise a need to set back players off the ball, while bringing support into play. Fans will be happy to know that pace attributes are back with a bang this time around, placing speed demons truly in a league of their own.

FIFA tried so hard to level the playing field with regards to pace in previous years, almost to the point where it became redundant. Now, happily, it is fine-tuned and right on song. A new 'Agile Dribbling' feature will also delight the masses, with the trigger buttons on the respective console becoming your new best friend causing body rolls and fake turns galore.

Passing on the game is slicker, while dribbling has been remastered and pace is vital again

Player selection is now key, and those who do not pay dues to the strikers they are coming up against may find themselves on the sore end of a humiliation.

Passing repertoire remains high throughout, with the pleasing continuation of reactive surfaces and weather conditions impacting the ball. Head into a blustery autumn fixture in the Premier League and you'll soon know all about it.

One feature which stands out is the Career Mode. Some people love it, some people hate it. Either way, the excessive criticism which came FIFA's way last year regarding this medium has certainly been taken on board.

This time around we find a much more fleshed out offering, containing a Football Manager-style interactive match sim, which lets you switch between the standard FIFA match view and the new sim view when you so choose.

It's perhaps long overdue, but it was definitely needed. Everyone's favourite rough and tumble of the transfer window has also been sharpened, with negotiations for players feeling much less robotic and in line with the club's financial and competitive status.

FIFA have responded to criticism of career mode and have added Football Manager features

When not getting lost in the career mode, 'Volta' street football offers a complete palate cleanser. After it's introduction in FIFA 20, Volta has been chiseled and the good things have been made better while the bad things have... well, gone.

The mode offers a nostalgia-tinged throwback to the days of FIFA street, offering a variety of options in which to play out the small-sided matches using the world's biggest names.

Beefed-up changes to the system include VOLTA Squads, Featured Battles, new Match Types, The Debut and VOLTA Kick-Off.

Yet for those masters of the online discipline, who head straight to Pro Clubs and FUT, the key theme is steady continuation. New features include FUT Events, Live FUT Friendlies, FUT Stadium and One FUT Club which offer refreshed options.

'Volta' street football provides an injection of nostalgia from the days of FIFA Street. Users can select locations around the world to play short-sided games with the superstars

The same thrills and spills continue, and the ongoing treasure hunt to pack a Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Mbappe remain as rare as ever, though the excitement of course is always in the search.

Though it won't go without criticism, all in all FIFA delivers and promises a fresh array of excitement for avid fans to take into the next year and beyond. With additional subtle details seeping out at random intervals, there is little risk of the new offering feeling stale anytime soon.

And, if nothing else, the sight of stadiums packed with fervent supporters fills up the heart and leaves us yearning for a return to normality once again.

Football Manager 2021 review: The 'special one' is back and with an improved match engine and a cleaner presentation it plays and looks better than ever... but it is also now even more likely to devour your free time

* The new Football Manager 2021 game will be released on Tuesday
* Latest addition has overhauled user interface to give it much improved look
* Tweaks to the match engine make on-pitch action more realistic than ever

It can be very easy to judge a game’s merits only by how good you are at playing it.

Football Manager is not immune to this as it can feel like the greatest game in the world when you have slogged Shrewsbury Town towards European domination after years of steady progress. Or it can feel like a waste of time when even with a summer spend of £300million you can’t crack the top four with Manchester City.

The beauty of Football Manager is the same player can have these scenarios regardless of their ability. Sometimes your strengths are magnified or all of your weaknesses are badly exposed like an England team at a major tournament.

Sportsmail got its hands on a copy of Football Manager 2021 before its Tuesday release

Football Manager is back and has been given a polished new look to make it even better

But there is one easy way of knowing if those wise heads at Sports Interactive have delivered another brilliant installment of the game, and that is when you trap yourself in it with no way to escape.

You know it is time to turn the game off but you give yourself ridiculous scenarios which mean you can’t. It’s either ‘I can’t stop playing now, I’ve just won and I need to continue my winning streak’ or ‘I can’t stop playing now, I’ve not won in ages and I can’t end this session on a winless run’. And there is your free time (and probably more) in a vice grip.

Just like that you are hooked into many more months at screaming at your striker for missing a sitter or getting so involved you get your best suit out for Cup final day.

The xG statistic has been added to provide a gauge on your team's ability to create chances

The match engine has been revamped with players responding in a more intelligent manner

Does Football Manager 2021 have this same hook? As a veteran player for over 20 years from when the game was under a different name and ‘legends’ like Leon Knight, Cherno Samba and Orri Freyr Oskarsson were key to glory it’s yet another victory for the team at Sports Interactive and Football Manager which seems to rarely, if ever, drop the ball in this franchise.

Having grabbed a pre-release copy to test out the latest release, let’s start with what’s new. In general the user interface looks more friendlier than ever and has had a big tidy up. Such examples of this include the satisfying season reviews now contained in a fresh looking presentation rather than a 20-message dump in your ‘inbox.’ It's a fine example of the game trying to take some of the game's existence away from the inbox tray, which has been a dominant way of playing the game for years, and adding a defined end of season moment where you can reflect on your glories (or failures.)

Visually the game has taken a noticeable upgrade too. The animations after winning a trophy have increased significantly and are no longer like looking down at a small party from a helicopter through a sea of confetti covering half of the stadium.

In-game, your match screen presents you with a personal 'tablet' and shouts from your dugout

Player interaction has been given an overhaul, with the ability to now 'throw a water bottle'

Player intelligence on the pitch has gone up a level too. The match engine allows players to change their mind while making a decision and the goals just seem more satisfying than ever. Seeing your player lob the keeper after running onto a through pass is a glorious sight to behold this year yet it wasn’t one I remember seeing too often if at all during FM 20.

Long-time players will note xG now replaces the previously unreliable statistic ‘key chances’ and it will be very useful to players who watch on key highlights and don’t have time to notice the tactical clues that playing with comprehensive highlights does. It describes how effective your side were at creating chances in the game.

Was it your hopeless tactics why your side were seemingly beaten 2-0 with ease, or was it your dopey strikers failing to put away big opportunities? xG will give you a much clearer insight into this.

If it is the latter, then another new feature in the game that allows you to take out your frustration on the team without the need to throw your computer out of the window. Interactions with players have been given a revamp and you can berate your side (or an individual) with in-game gestures including 'throwing a water bottle'.

The user interface has become a lot cleaner with neat graphics including team sheets to provide a more realistic feel to the game

Trophy celebrations have been improved significantly from previous editions of the franchise

Transfer recruitment has also been given an upgrade with the ability to now interact with your staff in a transfer meeting over targeting certain positions during a window and being recommended players as a result.

FM is famed for its attention to detail and the coronavirus outbreak has an impact in the game, with the first season notably seeing a similar calendar schedule and reduced finances to reflect the current real world scenario.

Where FM really knocks it out the park though is its accessibility and endless playability. There is something for everyone. Are you the control freak who wants to fine tune every aspect of management from youth team training to analysing the deep, deep statistics on offer every match? Fine, it is all there at your fingertips.

But if you are new to the game, have little time for the relatively minor concerns or just want to control certain aspects, the same jobs can be delegated to your backroom staff who will give you recommendations or just outright do the job for you. Should you wish to get more involved there are in-game tutorials to help you learn in what can otherwise be a daunting and very complex game when you first play it as a beginner.

Player cohesion and the tactics screen help you together an ideal playing style for your side

As usual the game is loaded with statistics and data for you to analyse from many leagues

The in-match condition system has now seen a less precise heart symbol replace the percentage reading of a player's fitness

The customisable aspects to Football Manager is one of the series’ triumphs and allows you to modify the game to exactly how you like it.

The challenges are endless too. Won the league in your first season at Liverpool? Now retain it or take charge of a club abroad. Better still, start a new save at a lower league club, try and restore the glory days of a fallen giant or do the real impossible job and win a major trophy for England. The fresh approaches you can make to the game are endless.

Like anything in life it's not all perfect and there are a couple of minor annoyances. One being no longer seeing the away goal score during a European tie (which can hopefully be easily amended via a patch), while the percentage reading of a player fitness is now replaced with a more vague heart symbol which changes colour. Although you could argue the latter is a more realistic tweak in regards to that you would never know precisely the condition of a player by a percentage figure.

This isn’t enough to loosen that vice grip on your free time though. From the old, experienced player to the newcomer looking to play the legendary management sim for the first time, Upon its release on Tuesday, Football Manager 2021 is once again the ‘Special One’ of all football games.
