Peresmian Chapter Padang






31 January 2010, Kota Padang diguyur hujan malam itu. Saya dan teman-teman United Indonesia chapter Padang sedikit khawatir dengan kacaunya acara. Untunglah sejak pukul 21.00 langit kembali cerah. Acara pun dimulai pukul 22.00. Cafe E-Nagoya yang terletak di Jalan Ahmad Yani sebenarnya dikelola oleh rekan AIS Padang. Namun, visi mereka untuk mempererat silaturrahmi antar fans club, menjadikan cafe ini seakan rumah bagi pecinta sepakbola. Ada 5 fans Club yang sudah memampangkan logonya di sana. Antara lain AIS (Arsenal), Milanisti Sezione Padang, Juventini, Interisti dan United Indonesia.







Meski lapangan maih becek, namun acara tetap berlangsung. Disaat Romanisti nonton bareng As Roma vs Siena, acara perkenalan United Indonesia dimulai. Atas amanat dan permintaan, saya didaulat untuk menyampaikan kata sambutan. Awalnya, ingin sedikit introduksi apa itu United Indonesia sampai kesan dan pesan. Namun, karena kendala tekhnis, maka peresmian berlangsung singkat saja. Dan plakat itu akhirnya diserahkan secara simbolis kepada saudara Tomas selaku Korda, menandai hadirnya United Indonesia Chapter Padang.



Menjelang kick off Arsenal vs Man United, hadirin disuguhi hiburan berupa dance, fashion show dan live band. Tak lupa kuis-kuis yang dipersembahkan oleh pendukung acara.



Pukul 23.00 WIB, Big Match super sunday pun dimulai. Kedua supporter masih saling bersahutan jika timnya mendapat peluang, hingga pergerakan Luis Nani membuat Almunia melakukan bunuh diri. Gooners pun terdiam saat Wayne Rooney menggandakan keunggulan. Di babak kedua, karena proyektor terlambat manayangkan dari awal, maka ketika Ji-Sung cs. terlihat merayakan gol, para United fans langsung gembira sekali lagi. Malam yang sangat spesial kami rasakan sebagai United fans saat itu. Meski Arsenal fans bisa sedikit gembira saat Vermaelen, namun skor 3-1 tetap milik kemenangan Man United.




Rasanya begitu komplit malam itu. Hadiah yang sempurna untuk Chapter Padang. Semoga teman-teman bisa makin kompak dan selalu aktif menyalurkan kecintaan pada Man United dengan cara positif.
