Manchester United fans unite to devise plan to force Glazers out
Manchester United supporters’ groups MUST and IMUSA are to stage a meeting on Saturday aimed at forming a response in protest against the Glazer family, the club’s American owners.



Financial documents issued this week, alongside the announcement of the Glazers’ plans for a £500 million bond issue, revealed that the family had taken £23 million in personal loans and consultancy fees out of Manchester United since their takeover in 2005.

With supporters now fearing a further rise in ticket prices, MUST and IMUSA are to canvas opinion among United fans prior to Saturday’s Old Trafford clash with Burnley in an effort to formulate a joint approach ultimately aimed at forcing the Glazers to sell the club.

A statement said: “MUST and IMUSA, the two independent democratic fans groups, are inviting all interested Manchester United supporters to a meeting before this Saturday’s game against Burnley to discuss the response to the Glazers’ ownership of Manchester United.

“This has been prompted by the financial news coming from Old Trafford and the revelations made in the brochure issued to sell the bonds that are to be used to refinance the loans.

“The meeting is intended to offer supporters the chance to contribute their ideas and become involved in the campaign. We want ideas and energy.”

United supporters fought a successful battle to thwart BSkyB’s proposed takeover of the club in 1998 before failing to halt the Glazer buyout in 2005.

Despite sources close to the Glazers insisting that the Florida-based family have no intention of selling United, supporters’ groups are keen to devise a plan to force them out of the club.

Ada 1 hal positif dari glazer,dia beda sama abramovich yg ikut campur soal urusan club,kebayang kalo glazer sama kaya doi? Mungkin semakin banyak idealisme yg terhapuskan dan bahkan mungkin opa gak bakal sampe menyentuh angka 26th di UNITED

wahh ada yang bangkitin lagi nih treadnya.. udah lama banget ya tenggelam..

iya ada benernya juga bro.. itu bedanya positifnya.. tapi kalau dilihat dari kecintaannya kepada chelsea kita mau bilang apa? dia udah begitu banyak ngeluarin uang untuk membuat agar chelsea disegani di EPL dan sekarang lagi cari cara untuk membuktikan skuad chelsea berjaya di eropa lagi,

jelas beda kalau mau nyamain 2 orang tuh.. tapi glazer memang tidak bisa membuat united lebih disegani, dia terbukti memanfaatkan united.. untungnya ada SAF yang pinter dalam jajaran manajemen united dilapangan, nah sekarang united cuma bisa bertahan dari hasil pencapai mereka dulu dibawah tangan SAF..

kita sebagai fans berharap yang terbaik aja deh untuk united...
