Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Bayern Munich may hijack Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic move
Bayern Munich are interested in hijacking Manchester United’s move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports. Recent rumours strongly suggested that Man United had all but completed their move for Sweden striker Ibrahimovic, with a medical expected to be completed following Euro 2016. But new Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain, is reportedly keen on a reunion with his former player. Bayern have reportedly identified Ibrahimovic as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski should the Pole move to Real Madrid. It would be a dramatic move if Ibrahimovic was to move to Bayern as it looked for all the world like his switch to United was done. Jose Mourinho, who worked with the forward at Inter Milan, is said to be pushing for the formalities to be completed. But stranger things have happened in football and United would be wise to not be complacent when it comes to wrapping up the deal. Ibrahimovic would provide a big boost to the squad if he did come in and it would be a blow to miss out on the Swede. Code:

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic named in Sweden's Rio 2016 squad... meaning Manchester United target could miss opening two matches
* Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to complete a summer move to Man United * The 34-year-old is currently representing Sweden in France at Euro 2016 * He has been included in Sweden's provisional squad for Rio Olympics Manchester United target Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been named in Sweden's provisional squad to take part at this summer's Rio Olympics. Ibrahimovic, who is expected to finalise a move to United after Euro 2016, has been named in the 35-man squad by coach Hakan Eriksson. The Sweden Under 21 boss says the chances that Ibrahimovic will be part of the final squad are 'not so great but there is still a hope.' 'In the initial phase we felt that those playing the Euros can't double up, but I've had a talk with Zlatan,' Ericson said, adding that it was not yet confirmed the striker would take part in the Olympic tournament. 'It could be a new phase in his career; and Zlatan has said that he is willing to wait until after the Euros (to decide). I want to keep open the tiniest gap that might exist, because it would be fantastic to bring Zlatan.' The striker is expected to finalise a move to Manchester United after this summer's Euro 2016 Ibrahimovic, 34, left Paris Saint-Germain after scoring a career-high 38 league goals this season and is widely expected to join Manchester United. The Rio de Janeiro Olympics run from August 5-22 with the men's teams made up of mostly Under 23 players, with an allowance for three older players. He would miss United's first two fixtures of the season against Bournemouth and Southampton if he was to join the Old Trafford outfit and Sweden progressed to the final. Sweden's football federation announced a 35-man squad on Wednesday, which will be trimmed to 22 for Rio where Sweden plays Nigeria, Colombia and Japan in Group B. Code:

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Ibrahimovic would be 'great' for Manchester United - De Bruyne
Kevin de Bruyne might be a Man City player but he has encouraged former coach and Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be a 'great addition' for Manchester United, according to City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne. Ibrahimovic, 34, is expected to reunite with Jose Mourinho at United after Sweden's Euro 2016 campaign finishes, having spent four successful years at Paris Saint-Germain. Ex-Chelsea forward De Bruyne, who was sold by Mourinho to Wolfsburg in 2014, will come up against Ibrahimovic when Belgium face Sweden on Wednesday evening in the countries' Euro 2016 Group E clash and is hopeful the itinerant striker will head to Manchester in the summer. "I think it will be good for him," De Bruyne told reporters. "He's lived already in a couple of cities, so I think he will take care of himself. "I personally like it very much, so I'm happy with the way everything's going over there. That is, for me, very important. "He's a great addition, so that's good for the league." Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, yesterday hinted his client would move to United since he wanted revenge on City manager Pep Guardiola. "I think he wants revenge on Guardiola, although he does not live for it because you shouldn't have two graves - one for him and one for the enemy," Raiola said . "It seems destiny wants to see that meeting take place. One option is to go to the Premier League, but for as long as Sweden continue in the Euros there will be no solution. "You learn more from defeats than you do from victories, and Zlatan learned a lot from what happened with Guardiola."

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic to retire from international football after Euro 2016
* Zlatan Ibrahimovic is Sweden's all-time record goalscorer with 62 goals * The former Paris Saint-Germain forward made his Sweden debut in 2001 * Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United * The 34-year-old has been largely ineffective at the European Championship Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he will retire from international football after Euro 2016. The 34-year-old announced his intentions at a press conference in Nice on Tuesday, a day ahead of a key Group E game against Belgium. He said, according to the Swedish federation's website: 'Sweden's last game at the European Championship will be my last match for Sweden. I hope it will not be tomorrow.' Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he will retire from international football after the European Championship 'Let's hope it goes as long as possible.' Even if Sweden lose and fail to qualify for the knockout stages, Ibrahimovic said he would not be disappointed with such an end to his international career. 'To finish on a disappointment, never, because I'm very proud to be captain of Sweden and what I achieved. 'So I want to take this moment and thank all the supporters, because they make it possible for me to achieve what I have achieved,' he said. 'For me disappointment doesn't exist, only proudness [sic] and grateful and very thankful.' Quote:
Ibrahimovic is Sweden's record scorer with 62 goals and can become its joint sixth most-capped player with 116 appearances on Wednesday. Sweden, need a win against Belgium to have a chance of qualifying for the last 16 after an opening draw with Ireland and a defeat to Italy. 'Our greatest star going is a big loss,' Sweden coach Erik Hamren said. 'We have one international player that's really at the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and that's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.' Hamren added that Ibrahimovic had discussed retirement with him in 'January or February' but that Ibrahimovic only confirmed it Tuesday. 'I think Sweden do have a bright future in football, but of course if we lose Zlatan Ibrahimovic that will be a huge loss,' Hamren said. 'As a goalscorer of course but also as an individual he has really helped Swedish football.' Code:

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Sejauh ini penampilan Zlatan sangat mengecewakan di Euro 2016. Swedia ga cetak 1 gol pun n Zlatan 2 match ga bikin satu pun shot on target...persiz mslh MU musim lalu,,minim shot on target.
Untungnya untuk menggaet Zlatan MU ga perlu merogoh kocek alias free transfer. |

Re: Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Manchester United set to finally sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic on July 1 after he delays move for extra bonus payment
* Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Paris Saint-Germain contract expires on Thursday * The 34-year-old is set for a PSG loyalty payment after not signing for a new club during the remainder of his deal with the French giants * Ibrahimovic scored 38 goals as PSG cruised to the Ligue 1 title last season Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to seal his long-awaited move to Manchester United on Friday. The striker, 34, is contracted to Paris Saint-Germain until the end of this month – with his contract expiring at the end of Thursday. Sportsmail understands that by not signing for another club while his deal with the French giants is active, Ibrahimovic will trigger a loyalty payment. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to join Manchester United when he becomes a free agent after leaving PSG And when that goes through the former Sweden international will put pen to paper on a one-year deal at Old Trafford. Ibrahimovic is likely to become new manager Jose Mourinho’s second signing after the £30m arrival of Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly. Mourinho wants to add two more players to his squad with a second bid for Borussia Dortmund’s Henrik Mkhitaryan under serious consideration. United have offered an improved bid believed to be around £26m for the 27-year-old playmaker, and are awaiting an answer from the German club. Speaking about their Armenian No 10, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke admitted that they were considering an improved offer from Manchester. Former United midfielder Paul Pogba is also on Mourinho’s radar, although whether the club can force Juventus to sell the dynamic Frenchman remains to be seen. Ibrahimovic plundered 38 goals for PSG as they cruised to the Ligue 1 title. That success saw the targetman pick up his 13th league championship in the last 15 seasons. Ibrahmiovic is yet to play in England but has tasted success in Holland, Spain, Italy and France, although he failed to score at Euro 2016 before announcing his international career had come to an end. While the deal could go through as early as Friday, United may delay announcing it until next week. On Tuesday, Mourinho is set to be unveiled by the club to the world’s media. Quote:
