Massimiliano Allegri has 'deal in place with a great English club and will reject return to Juventus and AC Milan’ amid interest from Manchester United

* Juventus are reportedly keen for their former manager to replace Maurizio Sarri
* But Massimiliano Allegri is holding out for a move to Manchester United
* Serie A club AC Milan are also keen to re-acquire Allegri's services
* Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure following a poor season so far

Massimiliano Allegri reportedly has a deal in place with a 'great English club' as rumours of a move to Manchester United gather pace.

Italian manager Allegri left Juventus at the end of last season, where he won five Serie A titles in as many years at the club.

However, with murmurs of Maurizio Sarri's job at Juve being under threat amid a poor recent run, Allegri has been linked with a return to both the Serie A holders and former club AC Milan though is set to reject both, according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport.

The report details that the 52-year-old is Juventus' top target to replace Sarri in the hotseat.

However, Allegri is not keen on a return to the Old Lady, nor is he willing to go back to the San Siro and Milan.

Although a deal is in place with a Premier League club, it is unknown which side in particular, though Manchester United have been heavily linked with the Italian in the past.

Current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been under pressure all season as his side are currently six points off the Premier League top-four and lie eighth in the table.

Sportsmail reported last month that Allegri has been holding off on an immediate return to management in the hope of eventually taking over at Old Trafford.

He is the sort of high profile candidate United would look to hire should Solskjaer leave, alongside former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

It is believed Arsenal were dissuaded from approaching him in December as they searched for a manager to replace the sacked Unai Emery.

Manchester United 'eye PSG boss Thomas Tuchel' along with Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri as they 'weigh up managerial options to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer'

* Manchester United are keeping tabs on Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel
* Red Devils are weighing up managerial options to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
* According to reports in France, United are one of three clubs in for Tuchel
* Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri are also being lined up for the job

Manchester United are considering Thomas Tuchel as a possible replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to reports in France.

The Paris Saint-Germain boss has impressed United chiefs and is seen as a potential successor for Solskjaer this summer, should the Norwegian face the sack.

According to Le10 Sport, the Red Devils are growing to 'appreciate' the work he's doing in the French capital but could face a battle to secure his services.

The report suggests that Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on Tuchel as they face uncertainty over the current managers employed at their respective clubs.

Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri, who are both currently out of work, have also been linked with Solskjaer's job.

Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham earlier this season after five years at the club, while Allegri left Juventus last summer, where he won five Serie A titles in as many years.

Pochettino has admitted that he would love a return to England's top flight and has been heavily linked with the United job for a number of years.

'To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League,' he told Sky Sports.

'It's going to be difficult, I know, and for now it's a moment to wait and we'll see what happens.

'It's a moment of recovery, to think about yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready.

'I'm ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.'

Allegri, meanwhile, reportedly has a deal in place with a 'great English club' with many believing it is United.

kalo saya sih lebih memilih Allegri di urutan 1, lalu Pochettino walaupun belum kasih trophy buat Spurs dan Tuchel diurutan terakhir

'The Pochettino situation doesn't help': Lee Sharpe believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being put under MORE pressure at Manchester United by former Tottenham boss's availability

* Ex-Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with the Man Utd job
* Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure, with his side currently eighth in the table
* They face Chelsea on Monday night, who currently occupy fourth-place
* Former Red Devils midfielder Lee Sharpe says the speculation isn't helping

Former Manchester United midfielder Lee Sharpe says Mauricio Pochettino's current availability is putting added pressure on current Red Devils manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Norwegian has struggled in his first full season in charge - his side currently lie eighth in the Premier League, six points off the Premier League top-four.

Ex-Spurs boss Pochettino has been out of a job since November, and with rumours linking the Argentinean to the Old Trafford hotseat constantly in the headlines, Sharpe believes it is having an effect on Solskjaer's ability to do his job.

Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino continues to be linked with the Old Trafford hotseat. Lee Sharpe believes Solskjaer will already be feeling the pressure without outside influences

'At a club like United, the pressure is on every week. You have to win every game and when you don't, the pressure mounts,' Sharpe told Sky Sports.

'He will have had a goal set at the start of the season which I believe would have been top four. If they don't get that questions will be asked and chats will be had behind the scenes.

'The Pochettino situation doesn't help matters but I also think Ole knows the pressure that comes with being in charge of the club.

'He doesn't need any outside influences putting extra pressure on him, he'll already be feeling it.'

Sharpe played for Manchester United between 1988 and 1996, winning three Premier League titles and the FA Cup on two occasions.

United, who have been training this week in Spain, return to Premier League action on Monday after a two-week break.

Solskjaer's side travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea, knowing a win will put them three points behind the Blues who currently occupy that coveted fourth spot.
