Re: Manchester United under Louis van Gaal
Menyusul Giggs, Rio & Vidic, 3 pemain muda ikut dilepas:
Jack Barmby, Jack Rudge, & Federico Macheda. Siapa menyusul? Will Keane?? cc; @Redsbusby;

Re: Manchester United under Louis van Gaal
Like This ROO
23/05/2014 07:56 - ManUtd.com, B Hibbs & M Froggatt Rooney: Excitement ahead Wayne Rooney is eager to get on with the next few months of his football career as he relishes the opportunity to work with new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal and targets World Cup success with England. It will be a fresh start for all the United players when van Gaal takes up his post later this summer following his own attempts to achieve glory in Brazil with his Netherlands squad, and Rooney cannot wait to begin that next chapter in his Old Trafford career. "When a new manager comes in, you always feel you have to prove yourself over again," Rooney told reporters at England's training camp in Portugal. "You don't know what ideas he's got or how he wants to play, having not met him yet. So when we've finished the World Cup and when we go back into training, it's like a new start and you've got to prove yourself again to make sure the manager picks you." Van Gaal has a proven track record as a serial winner in the Eredivisie, La Liga and the Bundesliga with Ajax, AZ, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. "It is a great appointment," added Rooney. "I think everybody knew for the last few weeks that Louis van Gaal was going to take over and the record he has got around European football is fantastic. He has won a lot of major trophies and it is great that it is sorted out now. It is great that Ryan has stayed with him as his number two. It is going to be an exciting time at the club." Rooney's immediate focus is on England and he insists he is ready to take the World Cup by storm after recovering from the groin injury that kept him out of United's last three matches of the 2013/14 season. His last two World Cups were undermined by injuries and he is yet to score in eight matches at the finals. But after a week-long training camp with a personal physio, Rooney is fit and raring to go. "I'm in the best condition and I want to show the world what I can do," Wayne told reporters. "There will be no excuses if I don't. I'm ready for it, excited for it. I want to give everything, leave everything on the pitch." Rooney is yet to get past the quarter-finals stage at a World Cup but is confident that his England team-mates can do so this time around after manager Roy Hodgson picked a youthful preliminary squad that is packed with pace and attacking quality. "I believe we can go far. We've got the players and our aim is to win the tournament. We don't want to go there saying we'll be happy getting to the quarter-final, even the semi-final. Our aim is to win the tournament and that's what we are preparing for. "Everyone can feel the excitement around the squad that Roy's picked. Certainly, I'm excited to play with these players. And to go to the biggest tournament with such a young squad and so much energy, so much pace, which I don't believe we've had in previous tournaments, it will be great for us and I believe we can do well." |

Re: Manchester United under Louis van Gaal
TEAMtalk.com - Sunday 25th May 2014 10:20 Van Gaal arrival excites RVP Robin van Persie says he is looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal at Manchester United and expects his international boss to bring a direct approach. Van Gaal has agreed a three-year deal at Old Trafford and will take charge of his first English club as soon as Holland's World Cup campaign is over, with the United striker set to captain the national side in Brazil. The pair have worked together for the past two years on the international stage and enjoy a good relationship as van Gaal handed the 30-year-old the armband on a permanent basis last summer, while reports have suggested that he may be set to do the same at United following Nemanja Vidic's departure. Van Persie had been linked with an exit from Old Trafford, but says that van Gaal is somebody who can help to get the best out of him after a stop-start season due to injuries. "I have enjoyed the past two years with Holland a great deal," he is quoted in The Sun Sunday. "He is very clear in what he says. I am now going to go through another two-year process with van Gaal and I am looking forward to it. "It is a different sort of approach to what I was used to with previous coaches, but I like it. "It is a very Dutch way of doing things - very direct but intended to make us better players." |
