Amsterdam - Performa Alexis Sanchez bersama Manchester United belumlah memuaskan. Ada kans untuk Sanchez kembali ke Arsenal demi menemukan kembali permainan terbaiknya.

Sanchez didatangkan dari Arsenal pada bursa transfer Januari 2018. Saat itu MU tidak mengeluarkan uang sedikitpun karena ada pertukaran Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Tapi, Setan Merah harus menggaji Sanchez dengan jumlah wah mencapai 400 ribu pound sterling per pekan.

Tapi setahun berseragam MU, Sanchez tidak bisa membayar apa yang telah dikeluarkan klub untuknya. Sanchez malah tampil buruk dan cuma membuat lima gol dari 37 penampilan di seluruh kompetisi dan lebih sering masuk ruang perawatan karena cedera.

Kondisi ini membuat masa depan Sanchez mulai dispekulasikan mengingat persaingan di lini serang MU begitu ketat dengan adanya Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, dan Mata. Musim ini saja, Sanchez baru bikin dua gol dari 19 penampilan di seluruh kompetisi.

Jika tak ada perubahan hingga akhir musim, Sanchez pun disarankan untuk pergi demi kebaikan kariernya. Arsenal disebut jadi tujuan terbaik Sanchez karena dia bisa menggantikan Mesut Oezil yang tengah bermasalah juga kariernya bersama Unai Emery.

"Saya sangat menghormati Alexis, karena dia tampil sangat baik di Arsenal, tapi saya tidak tahu apakah itu keputusan yang tepat untuknya pergi," ujar mantan winger Arsenal, Marc Overmars, kepada ADN Deportes.

"Sepakbola Inggris mengubah Anda, membuat Anda bersemangat, dan ini membuat saya melangkah lebih maju. Arsene Wenger datang setahun sebelum saya, Dennis Bergkamp membuat impresi yang sangat bagus di Inggris. Saat itu fantastis sekali, saya berpikir kami bisa sedikit mengubah sejarah klub itu," sambung pria yang kini menjabat Direktur Ajax Amsterdam tersebut.

"Tipe pemain seperti ini sangat penting untuk Arsenal, karena mereka bisa membawa Anda fokus ke satu tujuan. Setelah Alexis, Arsenal coba mendatangkan pemain seperti itu, tapi tidak berhasil., Jadi dia bisa saja kembali ke Arsenal," demikian dia.

Sanchez pindah dari Arsenal ke MU pada bursa musim dingin tahun lalu. Dia ditukar dengan Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Dengan gaji Sanchez yang sangat tinggi, kontribusinya masih minim. Sanchez baru membukukan dua gol di musim ini dalam 19 pertandingan yang dijalani di semua ajang.

Eks pemain Arsenal, Paul Merson, bilang bahwa Sanchez sudah tak seperti yang dulu. Oleh karena itu, Merson pun merasa sedih.

"Saya berharap kita bisa melihat Sanchez yang dulu, tapi saya tak melihat lagi kepercayaan diri dan rasa lapar di matanya," kata Merson di Sky Sports.

Jakarta - Alexis Sanchez disoroti performanya sejak gabung Manchester United. Si pemain sendiri menyadari belum cukup memberikan kegembiraan untuk MU.

Sanchez belum menunjukkan performa terbaiknya sejak dibeli MU dari Arsenal tahun lalu. Tampil 37 kali sampai saat ini, pemain 30 tahun ini baru bikin lima gol dan sembilan assist.

Padahal selama di Arsenal, Sanchez amat produktif dengan 80 gol dan 45 assist dalam 166 penampilan. Artinya dia berperan langsung dalam terciptanya 125 gol dari jumlah penampilannya itu.

Di bawah Solskjaer, Sanchez baru tampil tiga kali sebagai starter, seperempat dari total penampilan MU bersama sang manajer. Situasi ini diakui Sanchez membuatnya turut khawatir, karena dia percaya semestinya bisa memberikan lebih banyak untuk MU.

"Dia (Solskjaer) belum berbicara dengan saya secara menyeluruh detail tentang apa yang harus saya lakukan di lapangan. Tapi saya rasa saya adalah seorang pemain berpengalaman dan rasanya saya tahu apa yang harus dan tidak saya lakukan," ungkap Sanchez dikutip BBC.

"Saya adalah seorang pemain yang, kalau tak bersentuhan dengan bola, saya kehilangan kilauan. Dan terkadang saya ingin bermain di setiap laga. Anda di dalam tim, lalu di luar lagi. Sementara saya terbiasa terus bermain."

"Ini bukan alasan, karena kalau saya masuk lapangan untuk bermain 10, 20 menit, saya tetap harus menunjukkan performa terbaik. Karena untuk itulah saya ada di sini, untuk membuat perbedaan."

"Saya ingin mendatangkan kegembiraan lebih besar untuk klub. Ya situasi ini membuat saya khawatir, karena saya percaya dengan kemampuan saya sebagai pemain, saya ingin menunjukkannya," tambahnya.

ALEXIS LAUGHS OFF CLASH WITH ASSISTANT REFEREE

Alexis Sanchez has laughed off the incident in midweek, when he collided with an assistant referee, as he insists he feels fit and is eagerly anticipating the clash with Chelsea.

Ahead of the in the Emirates FA Cup fifth-round tie, the Chilean clearly has a special affinity with the competition, having won it twice, and scored in the previous round against his former club Arsenal, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Reds swept to a 3-1 success.

This latest return to the capital represents another huge examination of United's trophy pretensions but Alexis is not troubled by Tuesday’s clash on the touchline, despite claims he could miss the Stamford Bridge game because of it.

“Before coming on in the game against PSG, I was warming up on the touchline and I always warm up on the other side because, as a rule, there aren’t any assistant referees on that side," he explained to MUTV. “In the Champions League, they change sides.

”At one point, I was warming up, stretching out my leg and watching the game at the same time. We had a quick breakaway and the linesman was coming from here and, suddenly, I looked up and ‘bang!’ And I went: ‘Ouch!’

“And I was about to go on because it looked as if Jesse Lingard was struggling. The pain was killing me. I said to myself ‘Lingard’s injured, and now I’m about to get injured myself! No way, it can’t be!'

“I went into the dressing room and got loose quickly and, as I warmed up, they worked on my leg, here. But it wasn’t an excuse for coming on in this game. It’s just now an anecdote about something that had never happened to me before in my life. It’s just something that is very funny.

”It’s okay now. It was okay for me to play on it and it’s not an excuse for not being at my best. It was quite a hard knock but it was fine for me to come on.“

Alexis remains upset with the 2-0 first leg defeat to PSG in the Champions League round of 16. The substitute feels we reacted badly to conceding first against the French side and just needed some time to clear our heads.

“I think that when they scored the first goal, when that goal went in, I turned around and I noticed my team-mates, and their eyes, and, straight away, there was something that didn’t seem right to me, something that wasn’t the same as in the first half,” he recalled.

“It was like the goal brought everyone down. The first goal is very hard on the team and the attitude. When you’re playing in the Champions League, and, in my life, I’ve played a lot in the Champions League, with Barcelona, with Arsenal, these games are all about 90 minutes.

”And so, up here [in your head], you need to be fresh, 90 minutes, fresh, here. One second not fresh and you're punished. With the first goal, I looked at my team mates, and I said something’s not quite right

“It’s just, at the moment, I wanted us to do like they do in basketball, where you stop everything and get everyone together and says, ‘We can win this We’re going to win this game! We played Burnley and were 2-0 down and nearly won it. We’ve played other teams and been 2-0 down and then come back to win 3-2. We’re Manchester United!

”We’re playing at home! Let’s keep calm! Come on, we’re going to win this!’ But at 1-0, we were a bit flat and, after that, our play was different to the first half. And my touch on the ball wasn’t that great either.“

Alexis will hope to put things right at Chelsea as the Reds face a tough assignment at the Bridge, especially give that replays are no longer required at this stage so the option of taking the Blues back to Old Trafford is not possible.

He may have scored in two finals for the Gunners, once against Chelsea, but also has extremely fond memories of heading the Reds’ equaliser past Tottenham Hotspur in last season’s semi-final at Wembley, one of his finest performances since joining the club last year.

“I think it’s a top competition and I’ve also played in it on many occasions,” he added. “We had the final last season against Chelsea. I think we all really hope we can go a long way in the competition, and then get to the final once again, and I’m keen for us to be able to go on and win it.

“The thing that comes to mind is my goal at Wembley against Tottenham. It was a nice goal, we were 1-0 down at the time. Then Paul Pogba won the ball and put in a cross for me and I managed to head it in at the far post. It was such a great moment because the United fans were right on top of us and it was a lovely moment to be able to celebrate along with them.

”I think it will be a very exciting game [at Stamford Bridge], a very important one. As I always say, we are United and we have to set out win wherever we play. There’s no other option but to go all out for the victory.“

Dikutip dari TheSun, Manchester United kini berencana untuk melepas Sanchez pada bursa transfer musim panas mendatang. Statusnya adalah pinjaman.

Meminjamkan Sanchez ke klub lain dianggap tepat demi mengembalikan kepercayaan dirinya. Selain itu, dengan meminjamkan Sanchez, MU tidak akan terbebani dengan gaji besarnya. Saat ini dia menerima bayaran 400.000 pound sterling sepekan, itu setara dengan Rp 7,5 miliar.

Demi mengembalikan kepercayaan dirinya, Sanchez kabarnya bakal dipinjamkan oleh MU pada musim panas ini. Surat kabar Catalan, El Mundo Deportivo, mengklaim bahwa Sanchez telah ditawarkan ke Barcelona.

Namun Barcelona menolaknya. Faktor gaji disebut jadi ganjalan utama yang membuat Barcelona enggan menampung mantan pemainnya itu.

ALEXIS WILL HOPE FOR BARCELONA REUNION

Much has been made about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returning to the Nou Camp, the scene of his greatest night as a Manchester United player, after his Reds were paired with Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The draw also means Gerard Pique, the towering centre-back, will face his old team - he was in the Reds' Champions League-winning squad of 2008 before lifting the same trophy with Barca at our expense in the 2009 and 2011 finals and once more, against Juventus, in 2015.

Yet the tantalising tie has arguably even greater resonance for Alexis Sanchez, who will no doubt be busting a gut in a bid to be back from a knee injury ahead of schedule to take on his former club.

Solskjaer recently suggested he hoped the Chilean could return to action around the time of the Everton game in the Premier League, but the trip to Spain comes earlier that week, with the second leg taking place at the Nou Camp on Tuesday 16 April.

Barcelona beat a host of suitors to sign the South American in the summer of 2011 and he spent three seasons in La Liga.

Acquired by current Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, before going on to play under Tito Vilanova and Gerardo Martino, Alexis made 141 appearances for the Catalan club, the vast majority of them as a team-mate of Lionel Messi.

The Chilean scored 47 times for them and also supplied 35 assists as he was part of a vibrant attacking unit.

In his first year, he helped Barcelona win the UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup and the Copa del Rey; in the following campaign, 2012/13, they dominated in La Liga, winning the title with 100 points on the board. Alexis then notched an impressive 19 league goals in his final season at the club before joining Arsenal in the summer of 2014.

As for his Champions League stats with Barcelona, he played 24 games, scoring three times.

Even though it's now almost five years since he left the Nou Camp, Alexis was spotted attending a game there earlier this month, a 3-1 win over Rayo Vallecano, as the 30-year-old continues his rehabilitation from injury.

“It wasn’t easy to leave Barcelona,” he said in 2016. “I fulfilled a dream when I moved there – to play in Spain and for the champions – but very few players stay at the same club all their life. To leave is normal.

”I wanted a new project, a new experience. And with so many attacking players at Barca it was a good choice to go.“

Alexis has already come up against his ex-employers in the competition before, setting up a goal on his old patch.

In the last 16 of the Champions League in 2015/16, he was part of the Arsenal team beaten 2-0 at home by Barcelona before a 3-1 reverse at the Nou Camp. Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all scored for the Catalan giants, with Mohamed Elneny netting for the visitors from an Alexis pass.

The United forward will be keen to get back to fitness soon in order to have an outside chance of playing at the great arena once again. After all, he has already scored against another of his former sides this season - Arsenal, on their home turf, in January.

ALEXIS WANTS TO SHOW HIS PASSION FOR UNITED

Alexis Sanchez has a burning desire to succeed at Old Trafford and that shines through in abundance, during an illuminating interview for the April 2019 edition of Inside United magazine.

Our exclusive conversation with the passionate Chilean took place just before he was injured against Southampton and that blow will have hit the no.7 hard. But his determination to reward our supporters with match-winning performances and trophy successes still burns brightly.

“Obviously, I want to make the United fans really happy,” Alexis explains during his colourful interview with Inside United. “I want to score goals. I want to bring them joy. I want to win silverware.

“When we lost last year’s FA Cup final to Chelsea, I was not happy. Not happy at all. In fact, I was sad because I just wanted to make our wonderful supporters happy. I saw the fans who had come to pack out Wembley Stadium. They were all around me – all red. I liked it. Wembley was all red.”

Expanding on his wish to win trophies for our supporters, Alexis continues: “The goal there [at Wembley] against Tottenham comes to mind. It was such a great moment because the United fans were right on top of us and it was a lovely moment to be able to celebrate along with them.

“When I was younger, I liked United. I swear. As a small child, I liked United. I really liked them. And I want to show this and bring the people joy because, obviously, I want to win.”

In a pledge to the United fans, he says: “I want to keep showing my love for football. I know what I can do. I have belief in my ability. United are such an important club, not only in England but on a global level, and I would love to help bring a trophy to the supporters.”

So where does his passion and hunger for playing football come from? Specifically, it stems from the streets of Tocopilla in Chile and his upbringing there had a massive impact on his personality.

“It’s a small city,” Alexis explains when telling his story. “Listen, I love football. I love football! My passion is football. My other passions are my dogs and my family. They mean everything to me. Everything. Growing up, I always wanted to be a professional footballer – but in Chile. Always in Chile. I never dreamed of coming here to Europe. Never.

“It was always the Chilean league for me but my footballing journey continued and I played in Argentina and Italy. After that, I was like: ‘Wow, this is football! I love football! I kept on playing and I liked it even more. I liked different players, exceptional players who were out of the ordinary and like nothing I’d seen before.

“Back home in Chile, there was not as much technology as there is in Europe. You’d only see the Chilean TV channels showing the local football. You would never see clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona competing in La Liga. I didn’t know about them at that moment. That was my story then. I played at Cobreloa, River Plate, Udinese, Barcelona, Arsenal and now it’s Manchester United.”

Turin - Juventus kabarnya memantau situasi Alexis Sanchez di Manchester United. Juventus siap memboyong Sanchez, asalkan dengan satu syarat.

Di MU, Sanchez mendapat bayaran 400 ribu pound sterling per pekan (Rp 9,4 miliar). Persoalan gaji itu pula yang kabarnya membuat MU kesulitan untuk meminjamkan Sanchez.

Sebelumnya, MU sempat dikabarkan menawarkan Sanchez ke Barcelona. Namun Barcelona menolak karena alasan gaji yang terlalu tinggi.

Juventus sendiri sudah dipastikan mendapatkan Aaron Ramsey dari Arsenal pada musim panas nanti. Pemain asal Wales itu diboyong ke Turin secara cuma-cuma.
