setelah Burnley yg memastikan diri semalem, QPR bisa ngikut malam ini jika gagal menang atas City, hasil kalah ataupun seri tidak cukup untuk melanjutkan perjuangan the Rangers, jika menang masih harus berjuang di laga sisa dan bergantung hasil match lain

walaupun Burnley menang 1-0 dikandang Hull namun tetap terdegradasi, tetapi Burnley berhasil 'menyeret' Hull ke zona degrdasi apalagi Leicester & Sunderland meraih kemenangan, terutama Sunderland yg berhasil membawa pulang 3 poin dari kandang Everton (percuma saya beli Howard di FPL).
tren buruk NU kembali berlanjut yg cuma berhasil meraih 1 poin, setidaknya memutuskan rangkaian kekalahan beruntun.
GW depan kira2 QPR mo 'ngalah' dak nih biar NU tetap bertahan, sedangkan Sunderland & Leicester harus saling bertarung, siapa yg menang sepertinya akan aman dari degradasi. kalo Hull ato Leicester degrdasi ada ex United disana, kalo Leicester kasian juga, padahal mereka adalah juara Championship musim lalu. ada mending NU aja yg sekali2 degradasi, karma nih ama Pardew.

Newcastle confidence is shattered as they look to end bad run and escape relegation, admits Ryan Taylor

* Ryan Taylor wants to avoid a repeat of club's relegation season in 2009
* But he admits that players have zero confidence ahead of defining game
* Fabricio Coloccini has avoided walking around in Newcastle with fans

Confidence is shot and the pressure is on, ingredients which tend to mean bad things when a team desperately needs to win matches.

Six years after watching Newcastle slide out of the Barclays Premier League, Ryan Taylor is determined there will be no repeat of that final-day flop but he is honest enough to admit the final game against West Ham will require character.

It has been in short supply in recent weeks, evidenced by nine defeats in 10 matches. Taylor's take is that the slide started in the no-man's land between Alan Pardew's departure and John Carver's permanent appointment.

'As players we had a bit of turmoil once Alan left,' admitted Taylor, whose side led through Emmanuel Riviere before goals from Matt Phillips and Leroy Fer gave QPR the win. 'We were unsure, have we got a manager? Who is in charge? It took a few weeks to resolve and then John got the job.

'You look back now, nine defeats out of 10. I don't care who you are, it does shatter your confidence.

'We shouldn't be in this position, not with the amount of experience and international players we've got. Then again, maybe it is a confidence thing, and a few players new to the league, and now we are down to the nitty gritty. We really need characters now.'

Taylor was an agonised substitute in 2009 when Newcastle were relegated at Aston Villa. Carver's team are at home this time and there is also a two-point advantage on Hull, who are at home to Manchester United.

'I remember watching that game at Villa Park,' added Taylor. 'I was on the bench that day, we really lacked a lot of things. We have just got to make sure that doesn't happen again. We can't do what we did then. We have to put things right and have a buzz around the stadium. Regardless of what has gone on in the past, we have got to try to lift everyone this week.'



'We need a lot of characters. People just need to forget what's gone on in the past. We can only go with what's in front of us, and that is this one game. We've got to beat West Ham. That's the end of the line.'

Manager Carver has come under fire in his struggle to succeed Pardew but he retains the confidence of stalwarts such as Taylor. At the same time, the midfielder believes the players need to take responsibility.

He added: 'Yes, it's a big job but it's down to the players. We were unlucky to have a lot of injuries, but we still had quality in the squad. We just haven't done it.

'We will have chats this week. I'm sure John will be putting his message across: 'Listen, if you don't want to be under that much pressure, come and see me'. That's the type of guy he is, and I'm sure the lads will respond.'

Such has been the desperate run of results, Fabricio Coloccini has avoided walking round the city because he keeps bumping into unhappy fans.

'That's something we have to live with,' he said. 'We are not doing the right things and getting the results that Newcastle have to get, so it's normal. I suppose they will be angry, like us, but like I said two weeks ago it is another final we have to play on Sunday. We have to be all together because it is for the club and everything that remains here is going to be for the club.'

wah iya ya, Sunderland tricky juga ya, meski ada di atas Newcastle ama Hull dan punya 1 match in hand, tapi lawannya Arsenal di Emirates, dan di match terakhir kudu meladeni Chelsea di SB, klo The Black Cats kalah di dua laga tsb, dan The Tigers menang atas United, otomatis Hull akan frog leap Sunderland, secara selisih gol lebih baik

Sunderland sebenernya hanya butuh satu point atau sekali imbang dari dua laga terakhir mereka untuk selamat dari jurang degradasi, jika tidak maka akan berharap hasil negatif dari dua club dibawahnya
